Chapter 70 Separation

When Momo heard Anu suddenly mention her, she couldn't help but timidly look towards the sofa, waiting for what they would say next.

The man drank his wine without looking up. "What do you mean, what should we do?"

Anu paused, sensing his tone was quite displeased; he was probably still upset. But she patiently continued, "So, where will you arrange for her to stay?"

He was unsure whether he should put the girl in his room; he was a bit confused.

"There are so many rooms, just pick one."

“…Okay.” Anu replied, glad she had asked, otherwise she would have made a mistake again.

Yun Ge is a good person in every way, except when it comes to jealousy and rivalry, which is a bit baffling. It seems that we need to see this happen a few more times so that he can basically figure out his reactions, and that will be fine.

Momo calmed herself down, knowing that he was still sulking, but this actually made her feel much more relaxed.

She was terrified of being alone with this man again. She had escaped unscathed last time because of her period, and now she was afraid she wouldn't have any chance of escape at all.

Anu carried her luggage and took Momo upstairs. There were twelve rooms on the second floor, and apart from Fu Yungui's bedroom and study, the others were always empty.

Fu Yungui's room is near the elevator, and his study is across the street; the two places are not far apart.

As Anu led her past the study, he casually remarked, "You can't just walk into Brother Yun's study."

Momo glanced at the tightly closed door, then immediately nodded to indicate that she understood and would not touch any of his things.

“You can choose the remaining rooms yourself, but no one has ever lived in them before, and Brother Yun doesn’t like having servants at home, so you’ll need to clean them yourself.” Anu turned to talk to her again.

"It's okay." Momo answered readily. Cleaning was nothing. As long as she didn't have to sleep with that man, she would clean all the rooms.

She chose the room at the very end of the corridor, which was furthest from Fu Yungui's room, and had a window that offered a view of the artificial lake in the manor behind.

Anu put down her luggage and kindly reminded her, "I'll arrange for someone to bring you food. You'd better not leave this house casually, or you'll be in trouble if Brother Yun gets angry."

Momo nodded in agreement again and kept it in mind.

Seeing how docile she was now, and remembering the suffering she had endured before, Anu still felt a pang of pity and kindly gave her another word of advice.

"Brother Yun is the kind of person who responds better to gentle persuasion than force. Since you can't leave right now, you should learn to be more submissive so you won't suffer."

Momo paused for a moment, realizing he was doing it for her own good, and nodded obediently, "I understand, I won't make him angry easily in the future."

"Okay, then take your time packing." Anu said and left.

"good."

Leaving Momo alone in the room, she felt much more relaxed. She looked around first, then opened the window to let in some fresh air.

Because the second floor is quite high and is in the shade, the wind blowing from the lake is also cool.

She stood there for a while before turning around to start cleaning.

The room wasn't big, so it was quick to tidy up.

After she finished everything and went downstairs, they were no longer there. Momo remembered what Sawa and Fu Yungui had talked about earlier, guessing they had gone to take care of it, so she didn't think much of it and went to the refrigerator to find something to eat.

When they opened the refrigerator, all they found inside was wine; there was nothing else.

That's true, how could someone like him possibly eat at home?

Momo paused for a moment, then closed the refrigerator door and went upstairs.

Yellow Ematii, Pattaya's affluent area, is located in the north of Pattaya and is very close to the Sanctuary of Truth. It is a relatively quiet area with a strong cultural atmosphere, but it is not lacking in five-star hotels and upscale entertainment venues.

At the entrance of the Siam Seri Club, Anu parked his car next to the entrance.

Fu Yungui stepped out of the car. He glanced at the exterior of the club, which was magnificent and glittering, the kind of place that high-ranking officials liked to come to.

He put on sunglasses to cover the red mark on his face, then put his hands in his pockets and slowly swung his long legs forward. He didn't look like he was there to apologize; he looked more like he was there to stroll around.

"Where is your master?" the man asked casually to the person standing at the door.

Even though the man standing there was dressed in civilian clothes, he still exuded a military aura, which is why Fu Yungui could tell at a glance that he was not an ordinary doorman.

He was a high-ranking officer under Badi, and held a certain status in Thailand. He couldn't stand Badi's sarcasm and his expression changed on the spot.

Upon hearing this, Anu and Sawa, who were following behind, immediately became alert.

"What Brother Yun means is your protagonist today, General Badi," Shava added from behind.

After Sawa finished speaking, Fu Yungui immediately added, "Ah...that's what I meant too. Sorry, I've lived here for over twenty years, but I'm still not very fluent in Thai."

The man standing there looked even darker. The Thai man's Thai wasn't good, yet he dared to say such a thing.

Shava immediately pulled out his gun from his waist, ready to fight at any moment. Yun Ge, can't you just shut up a bit?

They came to apologize, not to fight. But judging from their posture, they probably did come to fight.

The man suppressed his anger and remained silent, afraid of ruining his superior's plans. He glanced at the men behind him and said, "Guns are not allowed in here. Please hand over your weapons. I will keep them for you and return them when we come out."

Fu Yungui glanced at the people behind him, and Shava and Anu then pulled out the guns from their waists and handed them over.

After taking the gun, the man's eyes fell on the box in Sawa's hand. "What's in here?"

Sawa smiled at him. "It's a gift for your boss. What's wrong? You want one too?"

The man's face darkened. "Give it to me, I'll take it."

Without a second thought, Sawa shoved the box into his hands. He was tired of carrying it anyway, so it was good to have someone help him.

After taking the box, the man led them inside.

This club is quite famous in Pattaya. It is high-end, luxurious, and extremely private, making it a frequent haunt of high-ranking officials.

Here they can enjoy everything without worrying about revealing their private whereabouts, because on the surface, it is a perfectly normal formal social venue.

But if you go down a little further, it's a completely different world.

Fu Yungui clipped his sunglasses onto his shirt and, led by Buddy's lackey, arrived at the door of the private room. Without hesitation, he pushed the door open and prepared to go in, only to be met with a barrage of neon lights.

The smell of alcohol and a hint of sensual fragrance wafted out from the doorway, causing Fu Yungui to frown with disgust.
