Spice factory!

Located in the suburbs of the capital, this place is also the most secluded spice-making center in the entire capital.

Countless vehicles were coming and going. Just then, a dark black vehicle sped towards the factory gate. The equipment personnel who rushed out of the vehicle were armed and went straight into the first floor!

"Ah!" The factory workers immediately scattered in all directions!

Li Zhanting and Gu Momo were fully equipped, their faces covered, completely disguised as the assassins from before.

Gu Momo coldly swept her gaze around, and the equipment personnel immediately understood the meaning in her eyes, and immediately surrounded all the factory personnel!

Just then, the general manager rushed out with a thick stack of documents, "You..."

Li Zhanting immediately exchanged a glance with Gu Momo, and the two of them swiftly kicked the general manager against the wall.

"Tell me! Where are all these things? Or I'll kill you!"

The general manager, upon meeting Li Zhanting's deathly gaze, trembled with fear. He clearly mistook Li Zhanting for one of his business partners, and said in a trembling voice:

"Master Hao, spare us! Didn't you say before that you would let us go as long as we disposed of those human skin masks according to your instructions? We were just doing what you told us! Please, Master Hao, spare us!"

Li Zhanting and Gu Momo exchanged glances with perfect understanding. (The last part is a nonsensical string of characters and doesn't translate directly.)

Could it be Li Qinghao, the son of Li Mingde, the second master of the Li family?

However, Li Qinghao has always been idle and lazy, so where did he get the ability and courage?

A cruel smile played on Li Zhanting's cold eyes as he continued, following the general manager's words:

"Enough with the nonsense. Where are the cooperation agreement and the human skin mask we discussed with you before?"

The general manager was terrified, breaking out in a cold sweat. He hurriedly and stammered, "They're all in the warehouse! They're all in the warehouse! Mr. Hao, if you need them, I can take you there right now..."

Inside the warehouse? A wary glint flashed in Gu Momo and Li Zhanting's eyes simultaneously.

Li Zhanting swiftly kicked the general manager to the ground. "Lead the way!"

The general manager was so frightened that he scrambled to his feet and led Li Zhanting and Gu Momo toward the warehouse.

The warehouse was covered in dust, and as soon as Li Zhanting and Gu Momo entered, they smelled a strong odor.

The two went inside and were completely shocked by what they saw.

The warehouse contained all sorts of machines for manufacturing human skin, lifelike human skin faces, and various special spices used to mask the smell of the human skin masks themselves.

It has all kinds of props, facilities and equipment, and it's like a huge underground manufacturing plant.

Li Zhanting kicked the general manager into the warehouse. "Find all the contracts we signed for our previous collaborations!"

The general manager was kicked so hard he fell flat on his face. He scrambled to the wall, pressed a button, and handed the thick stack of contracts from the safe to Li Zhanting. "Master Hao, this is it..."

His hands trembled as he handed over the documents, which were about to reach Li Zhanting.

Suddenly, he hardened his heart and, taking advantage of the moment Li Zhanting took the documents, he hurriedly ran towards the depths of the warehouse, shouting, "Help! I've lured them all here as you instructed! Please save me!"

Li Zhanting and Gu Momo immediately realized that there was an ambush!

Just then, a dozen agile bodyguards swarmed out of the warehouse like bees. They were all masked and armed with guns, and they surrounded Gu Momo and Li Zhanting in a dense formation!

In the crowd, Li Qinghao, dressed in a dark black suit, walked out from behind his bodyguards with a roguish grin: "Li Zhanting, looks like you're not so great after all? You think you can get information out of the general manager by pretending to be one of those assassins?"

His eyes and brows were filled with a smug, maniacal laugh. "What a pity! Someone told me you would do this! So I already spoke with the general manager beforehand and specifically lured you to this warehouse, so you'll never leave here alive!"

Li Zhanting and Gu Momo were surrounded, but instead of panicking, they wore cold smiles.

Li Zhanting calmly removed the mask from his face. His thin lips parted slightly, and a chilling smile appeared in his eyes:

"Oh? Someone told you I would do this, so... who exactly is behind this?"

As he spoke, Li Zhanting's smile became even more chilling. "If I'm not mistaken, these past few days you've been sending people to impersonate my men and infiltrate my ranks to assassinate me. Moreover, given your and your father Li Mingde's abilities, there's absolutely no way you could have come up with such a plan. So... who exactly is behind you?"

Li Qinghao was so intimidated by the piercing gaze in Li Zhanting's eyes that he couldn't help but take a step back. "Li Zhanting! Don't try to trick me!"

A cold smile curled at the corners of Li Zhanting's lips. "I'm about to die, can't you let me die knowing why?"

Li Qinghao was terrified by Li Zhanting's ambiguous smile, and immediately said in a trembling voice, "Don't let Li Zhanting get out of here alive! He's already found his way here, if he gets out, we're all doomed!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he waved his hand, and dozens of bodyguards instantly pointed their pistols at Li Zhanting and Gu Momo!

Li Zhanting's lips curled into a cold smile. "Sorry! Too late!"

He snapped his fingers in the air with a loud snap!

The next moment, rows of sniper rifles were immediately set up from the windows on the outside of the warehouse!
