"You haven't been drinking, have you?" Li Zhanting reached out and gently brushed away a few stray hairs from her forehead.

The people behind him gasped in shock.

Holy crap—did Master Ting come to catch us in the act in public?!

"Why are you here?" Gu Momo looked at the celebrities behind her, all of them staring at her with gossipy eyes. She wished she could make Li Zhanting disappear right now.

"I've come to pick you up, let's go?" Li Zhanting raised his elbow, gesturing for Gu Momo to take his arm.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Gu Momo forced an awkward smile and silently took Li Zhanting's arm with her small hand.

This was a sudden and intense display of affection: "Look how much Master Ting cares for people! I want to be cared for too, waaaaah..."

"They are such a perfect match, a handsome man and a beautiful woman!"

"Waaah, just get married right here, I'll move the Civil Affairs Bureau over here for you!"

Everyone was having a great time drinking, and naturally, they were speaking much more heartily than usual. Gu Momo couldn't help but laugh, "Go home early, everyone."

"Grandpa's still up so late?" Gu Momo asked, puzzled. Grandpa Li had never urged Li Zhanting before, so why was the sun rising in the west today?

Li Zhanting said casually, "They said they had something to discuss with us."

With a mix of trepidation and excitement, Gu Momo and Li Zhanting returned to the Li family home, only to be shocked by the scene before them as soon as they entered.

In the huge living room, there were more than a dozen mannequins, each wearing a stunningly beautiful wedding dress. Another dozen or so jewelers, dressed in black work clothes and wearing velvet gloves, stood neatly behind Old Master Li, holding various accessories in their hands.

Grandpa Li, dressed in a dark gray Zhongshan suit, exuded a festive atmosphere. Gu Wanrou, sitting next to him, seemed to be introducing something to him. The old man, wearing reading glasses, quietly admired the presentation, occasionally frowning and nodding in satisfaction.

"Grandpa, do you want to open a wedding dress shop at home?" Li Zhanting retorted coldly.

When Old Master Li looked up and saw the two of them, he completely ignored him, quickly put down his reading glasses, and ran to Gu Momo's side.

"MoMo, you're finally back! Take a look. These wedding dresses were specially designed for you by the world-renowned wedding dress designer VIVI. Each style is one of a kind in the world. Take a look and see if there's anything you like."

Momo, although the wedding date isn't completely set yet, you can start picking out your wedding dress first. It's okay, don't worry about it, Grandpa has already made arrangements. Vivi's grandpa and I used to be very good friends! If you don't find one you like, I'll go get another one."

Sure enough, another pitiful artist controlled by his elders!

Gu Momo felt deeply sympathetic, but now the more troublesome issue was for herself. On the surface, her grandfather was letting her choose a wedding dress, but in reality, this was a disguised way of pressuring her to get married!
