Mo Feng, leaning against a tree trunk, was laughing so hard he could barely stand up straight. "Hey, Second Young Master Rong, didn't you recognize Miss Momo's voice? She didn't use a voice changer when she said that!"

Rong Hengcheng looked at Mo Feng with a blank expression, then at Gu Momo. His mind went blank, as if he had been punched hard, and a familiar feeling instantly surged up.

He stammered in shock, "Y-you, you, you are Gu Momo!"

Gu Momo breathed a sigh of relief, "You finally recognized me, which means my makeup skills are very successful!"

After receiving an affirmative answer, Rong Hengcheng almost fainted because he couldn't catch his breath.

He pinched his philtrum and said, "Tell me this isn't true."

The racing goddess he had been longing for, the stunning beauty he vowed to marry no one but her, was actually Li Zhanting's girlfriend, Gu Momo!

This time he really kicked a steel plate; he's completely finished!

Rong Hengcheng had completely lost his previous arrogance, transforming into a harmless little puppy, looking at Li Zhanting with a pleading expression:

"President Li, I was just talking nonsense before! I didn't know that the goddess, ugh! I didn't know that the person who helped me with the race today was Sister Momo! He looked at Gu Momo with a tearful expression and said, "Sister Momo, please say something! Please help me explain to President Li. I really didn't know what was going on before."

Gu Momo had come specifically to check on Rong Hengcheng out of concern, but now it seemed that the boy didn't need her help at all; he was quicker than anyone else to admit defeat and beg for mercy.

"Alright, he won't be angry with you. Ignorance is no excuse, right, honey?" Gu Momo suppressed a laugh and looked at Li Zhanting with a smile.

He gave a soft "hmm," which was taken as an acceptance of Rong Hengcheng's apology.

But if you look closely into those eyes, which are smiling coldly, you can clearly see the king's contempt hidden there!

Rong Hengcheng was instantly dealt a critical blow, he was doomed... He probably could never turn his life around!

After the match, the four of them returned to the Li family manor together. Rong Hengcheng vomited all over himself, and Mo Feng specially found him a set of clothes so that he could wash up before going home.

When Rong Hengcheng came out of the shower, Gu Momo was sitting at the dining table, eating a late-night snack.

Li Zhanting wore an apron around his neck, and he finally seemed to have a more down-to-earth air about him.

"Finished washing up? Want some late-night snack? My husband's cooking is pretty good~" Gu Momo waved him over.

Rong Hengcheng touched his stomach, seemingly a little hungry. Just as he was about to answer, Li Zhanting, who was not far away, slammed the kitchen knife in his hand onto the cutting board.

"I won't bother you any longer, my dad's calling me home for breakfast! Sister Momo, take your time eating, and go to bed with President Li after you finish!" Rong Hengcheng shook his head like a rattle drum, ran to the entrance at the speed of light, changed his shoes and ran out.

Seeing him flee in disarray, Gu Momo frowned and looked at Li Zhanting, "Honey, aren't you being a little too harsh on him?"

Li Zhanting picked up the kitchen knife again and gently wiped the blade with a handkerchief. "No one can mess with you."

Gu Momo's lips twitched.

Some people get jealous so much that even she can't control them!

Gu Momo quickly went to coax Li Zhanting, knowing that she would be tormented by him all night long.

When Gu Momo woke up the next day, she felt as if her whole body had been run over by a vehicle, and the pain was so intense that she could hardly straighten her back!

This Li Zhanting is simply an insatiable wolf; she can barely keep her waist!

Just after breakfast, my subordinate rushed in to report: "Master Ting, Miss Momo, Miss Wanrou, and Master Feng have returned..."

"Really?" Gu Momo instinctively wanted to stand up, but remembering her fragile back, she quickly gave Li Zhanting a resentful glare before slowly standing up: "What are you still standing there for? Hurry up and go greet them!"

Gu Wanrou and Li Zhanfeng entered quickly. Both of them had rosy complexions and looked very healthy, clearly having been well-nourished on their journey.

"Wanrou, Zhanfeng, how's your investigation going?" Gu Momo's eyes swept over the two of them with a smile, then she looked at the middle-aged man in a dark gray suit behind them, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes. "Mr. Mu, you're here too?"

Gu Wanrou blushed slightly under Gu Momo's amused gaze and quickly introduced Mu Chengen to Gu Momo:

"Sister Momo, this is Mr. Mu Chengen, an old acquaintance of Medicine King Valley. After investigation, we found that Mr. Mu Chengen once visited the Ye family to treat their illnesses and has a token to enter the Ye family. Mr. Mu is willing to take us to the Ye family as well."

Li Zhanting stood up respectfully and bowed slightly: "Mr. Mu, this way please. Thank you for coming all this way."

Li Zhanfeng had respectfully prepared tea for Mu Chengen: "Mr. Mu, please have a seat here."

"Thank you so much, Mr. Ting and Mr. Feng. You two are too kind." Mu Chengen sat down in the chair, then looked at Li Zhanting and Li Zhanfeng with concern:

"Do you two really want to join the Ye family? But let me make this clear: the Ye family is not as simple as you think! If you really want to go, then I only ask that you don't reveal my name, otherwise I'm afraid I won't even be able to protect myself!"

Li Zhanting parted his thin lips slightly: "Mr. Mu, rest assured, we are already very happy that you are willing to help. We will absolutely not reveal any information about you."
