As soon as he finished speaking, the rope holding Li Qingling suddenly began to descend rapidly, and the girl almost fell into the sea.

"Nie Yu, didn't you want to save Li Qingling? Then jump off here and die in her place." Nie Zhenyuan pointed to the waves crashing against the deck behind him, which looked like demons baring their fangs and claws, as if they could easily devour the girl's frail body.

“Okay, I’ll jump.” Nie Yu got up from the ground almost without hesitation.

As long as I can exchange my life for Li Qingling's safety, that's enough.

"I hope you keep your word and return her safely to the Li family." Nie Yu clutched his chest, which was throbbing with pain, and slowly moved to the edge of the deck.
