Note that this book is a slow-burn novel, and it will become increasingly exciting as the story progresses.
It starts from 2002, beginning at the Beijing Film Academy, and starting with the H...
After leaving the Global Building, I arrived at Goldman Sachs on Wall Street.
"Jane, it's been a long time. You've become even more beautiful."
He gave the voluptuous, blonde, blue-eyed, and strikingly beautiful female elite a hug.
Jane Landa warmly embraced this benefactor. Tencent's IPO had secured her a huge deal, bringing her substantial profits. Tencent's newly issued shares were now considered rising stars. Due to the tech stock boom this year, coupled with Pony Ma's (Ma Huateng's) aggressive land acquisitions and numerous public announcements of major moves, especially the 2 billion yuan investment to build the Tencent Building in Shenzhen, a large plot of land was acquired. This triggered three consecutive days of limit-up price increases in the secondary market, with the stock price continuing to rise.
This allowed her to miss out on a greatsword, but she also made a considerable amount of money.
"Chen, have you come to see me this time with some big plans?"
Shen Fang smiled and said, "I do have something to discuss with you. These five are my traders, and this time we plan to invest nearly 100 million US dollars into the market."
Wang Haibo, Chen Xiaoguo, and their three disciples greeted Jane Landa.
"Chen, we can provide you with the most skilled traders. US stocks are different from Hong Kong stocks, and the environment is constantly changing. Most importantly, they are the most professional."
Shen Fang smiled: "Only through fighting on the battlefield can a team be forged. I need my own team."
Jane Landa glanced at Wang Haibo and his group of five, then winked at Shen Fang.
"It seems they are your trusted confidants. You Chinese still prefer to use your own people."
Shen Fang shrugged: "You Americans are the same."
Jane Landa nodded.
"I can arrange whatever you need."
Shen Fang gave Wang Haibo a wink, and Wang Haibo started talking to Jane Landa.
Ten minutes later, only Shen Fang and Jane Landa remained in the office.
"Chen, would you like a cup of coffee?"
Shen Fang shook his head: "I have tea. I can't sleep at night if I drink too much coffee. I don't really like this stuff. You office workers need it to stay awake, but I'm indifferent to it. I need a good night's sleep."
The female executive, wearing high heels and sticking out her pert buttocks, personally brewed a cup of black tea for Shen Fang. She had quite a big butt.
Jane Landa noticed Shen Fang's gaze fixed on her buttocks. A slight smile played on her lips as she sat on the sofa, crossing her legs and letting her high heels swing casually. Her red lips parted slightly.
"I don't have any plans tonight."
Shen Fang smiled and said, "I have an appointment."
Jane Landa... You have an appointment and you're still staring at my butt?!
This gave Chen Fang a dirty look.
Shen Fang smiled slightly. Xu Xin had told him about this female elite's background: her family was an old aristocratic family, she was a top student who graduated from Oxford University, with a distinguished family background, an angelic face, and a devilish figure. She was top-notch in every aspect.
She's one of the most powerful second-generation heirs; her father is a high-ranking executive at Goldman Sachs. She's incredibly influential, but this kind of woman is best avoided.
The two remained silent for three minutes.
Jane Landa watched Shen Fang silently sipping his black tea, and she grew restless. "My time is precious," she thought. "If you have nothing to do, can you just get lost? I have work to do." Clearly, she was quite annoyed by Shen Fang's disrespect.
Shen Fang also noticed the impatience in Jian's eyes.
He began by asking, "Jane, what are your thoughts on the biopharmaceutical and food industries?"
Biopharmaceuticals and the food industry? She certainly keeps a close eye on biopharmaceuticals, as her main clients are in that field, but she doesn't really know much about the food industry.
"With SARS over, the global economy is gradually stabilizing and will enter a period of rapid economic development. As the economy takes off, the demand for biopharmaceuticals and food will increase." Shen Fang stopped there.
Jane Landa smiled.
"Chen, do you think these two major directions are promising?"
Shen Fang nodded.
"World trade will gradually recover, and the food processing industry and biopharmaceuticals will lead the new trend."
"Chen, I'm very curious, how come someone like you who works in the internet industry is interested in these two industries?"
Jane Landa looked at Chen Fang with a puzzled expression. After all, tech stocks were highly sought after right now, and as a major shareholder of a new internet giant, shouldn't you be investing in the internet sector?
"When it comes to investing, you can't put all your eggs in one basket. Of course, I've also invested in the internet industry."
"Then could you tell me which companies you placed your bets with?"
Shen Fang smiled and said, "That's a trade secret."
Jian Bai glanced at Chen Fang.
"I've helped you a lot, don't be so stingy. If you have any good recommendations, please let me know so I can earn some pocket money."
"Are you short of pocket money?"
Jane smiled and said, "Of course, the more money the better. My clients entrust me with managing large sums of money."
"Then do me a favor and give NetEase a boost. I need a large sum of money."
Jane frowned: "Chen, NetEase's stock price is already a bit overvalued. If you push the stock price up any further, aren't you afraid it will crash?"
Shen Fang flashed his bright white teeth: "Don't worry, Ding Sanshi can handle it. NetEase's stock price is far more than this. I need to trade some of my NetEase shares to invest, and also to put Ding Pangzi's mind at ease."
“Raising the stock price will also benefit you; it’s killing two birds with one stone, a win-win situation.”
Jane Landa rolled her eyes at Chen Fang: "Chen, manipulating the stock market is a crime. Besides, I don't have the final say on this."
Shen Fang almost burst out laughing. In China, this might be a serious crime, but in the United States, this capitalist country, you could say that most of the money earned by all the investment banks, funds, and financial institutions on Wall Street comes from acquisitions, mergers, bundled sales, and driving up stock prices to fleece investors.
