He pushed open the door. In the sunlit study, the girl, even while holding a book, kept nodding her head, stubbornly lifting it up each time it was about to touch the table.

A genuine, gentle smile appeared on Jiang Shaoze's face. His Xiao Xun was so adorable.

He walked over gently, took the book from her hand, slowly pulled it away, then used his own hand to hold her face, gently moved her onto his shoulder, and sat down beside her.

Jiu Nanxun was still asleep, so she lay down on Jiang Shaoze's lap and fell asleep.

Jiang Shaoze tucked the strands of hair in front of her behind her ear and continued to highlight the key points for her.

However, after a while, the pen in Jiang Shaoze's hand trembled and fell onto the table with a thud. Jiu Nanxun hugged his waist and leaned her head forward...

Jiang Shaoze froze, his breathing becoming erratic for a moment.

He held Jiu Nanxun's head, turned her head slightly, and stared at her sleeping face for a long time before picking up her book again.

However, after a while, Kunan Xun hugged him and snuggled back to him.

Jiang Shaoze's expression changed rapidly; he could no longer concentrate on his book. He leaned back, his fingers gently stroking Jiu Nanxun's face, his gaze involuntarily drifting downwards.
