Global Survival: Starting with a Tricycle!

A survival game sweeps across the globe.

Without time to prepare, Xia Ning is thrown onto an endless highway.

To survive, she must keep moving forward: highway survival, maritime advent...

Upgrade and maintenance.

Three crossbow bolts were fired in quick succession, creating ripples on the murky water, and a warning sound rang out.

—Congratulations, player Phantom Princess has defeated [Short-snouted Alligator] x1

—Princess Phantom has obtained [Common Crocodile Skin x1]

—Phantom Princess gains 2 survival points

Xia Ning took a deep breath and scattered the remaining [4 poisonous snake galls] from her backpack around the treasure chest.

A short while later, two crocodiles popped their heads up.

Xia Ning had five crossbow bolts left. Instead of attacking, she drove the car a little further away to observe, hoping that the poison debuff from the two snake gallbladders would kill them.

After waiting for about five minutes, she heard the system announce: [Short-snouted Crocodile] x2 is seriously injured and has been enraged by the Phantom Princess.

That's enough. Xia Ning didn't give the crocodiles a chance to retaliate, and two crossbow bolts ended their wicked lives.

—Congratulations, player Phantom Princess has defeated 2 [Short-snouted Alligator] monsters.

—Princess Phantom obtains [Common Crocodile Skin x2]

—Phantom Princess gains 4 survival points

Xia Ning was glad that she had completed the timed mission early in the morning. If it weren't for the five points of strength she had gained, this battle would definitely not have ended so easily.

She drove closer to the treasure chest again, and looking at the withered branches and fallen leaves around it, Xia Ning carefully pulled out a twisted clothesline pole and stirred it.

After confirming that there were no other snakes hiding underneath, Xia Ning cautiously opened the treasure chest.

[A plain blue treasure chest? Don't dream about it. You're not that lucky.]

Xia Ning: ? ? ?

Such numerous disasters and difficulties are precisely what make "blue quality"?

Xia Ning reluctantly checked again; the text and the reward remained unchanged.

Protective Vest (Defense +3 when equipped)

[Standard steel plate x2]

That's all.

Xia Ning quickly put on her vest, then started cursing and swearing at the planner.

She realized that the game difficulty was increasing.

Complaining may not solve problems, but it can relieve stress.

Xia Ning: "Dog game planner, dog game planner, dog game planner, dog game, dog game, dog game!"

Overall, the morning's unboxing trip was thrilling but without major incidents.

The road in front of Xia Ning looked much more lovely. If it weren't for this magical asphalt road, she simply couldn't imagine herself exploring the swamp forest alone.

Oh, that can't be called an adventure anymore, it should be called delivering food.

Xia Ning didn't stop to cook at noon. She no longer needed her legs for power. In addition to the increased speed of the car itself, she no longer needed to walk and stop to recover her strength.

She ate some bread and milk for lunch and didn't stop to rest.

The swamp gave her a bad feeling; even the air felt murky. She wanted to get away from the area as soon as possible.

This idea became even stronger after Xia Ning saw that a crocodile had crawled into the middle of the road to sunbathe.

She absolutely did not want her first rear-end collision to be with an alligator's tail.

Xia Ning only had five crossbow bolts left, and she would never rashly enter combat mode unless absolutely necessary.

She avoids alligators and reptiles on the road whenever possible, and if she happens to run one over, she quickly shakes it off.

She had no desire to personally experience the crocodile's death spin.

The biggest gain from this trip was probably that Xia Ning was able to look at those disgusting insects without any expression.

The physical constitution limit didn't increase, but the SAN value did.

In the afternoon, Xia Ning saw all sorts of snakes.

Unfortunately, she lacked a biological encyclopedia and didn't know whether these snakes, large and small, were venomous or what their scientific names were, so she could only kill them all indiscriminately.

At 4:20 PM, Xia Ning's survival points reached a historic 300.

Lost 2 crossbow bolts, gained 3 poisonous snake galls.

I opened the second white resource box today and obtained [Mineral Water x3] and [White Steamed Buns x2].

Xia Ning looked up at the gray sky and could only see a few birds flying across the horizon in the distance.

Then, the horn sounded again—

Dear players:

To better serve our players, improve game quality, and enhance gameplay, "Extreme Survival" will undergo maintenance in five minutes. During this time, please stay in your vehicle, lock doors and windows, and do not move.

The maintenance is expected to take half an hour. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Xia Ning was quite used to the practice of only broadcasting key information once.

She accurately captured the key words: five minutes later, stay in the vehicle, lock the doors and windows, and do not move.

Without saying a word, Xia Ning parked the car, quickly climbed into the trunk, and locked the trunk door.

Unfortunately, her trunk had no windows, so she couldn't see what was happening outside.

However, she soon stopped being disappointed that she couldn't see the scenery outside.

The game said it would be under maintenance in five minutes, but in reality, Xia Ning felt the sounds outside the window gradually disappear after four minutes, and were replaced by soft music.

The music was of indescribable origin, seemingly both near and far, sometimes tender and lingering, sometimes powerful and resonant, its low murmurs like weeping and lamenting, its high notes like hissing and roaring—all captivating and soul-stirring sounds.

For a fleeting moment, Xia Ning felt an urge to open the back door and head towards the sound.

Once she realized her thought, she immediately shuddered and quickly took out her earplugs and put them in her ears.

Before long, the music became chaotic and disorderly, and then it became sharp and piercing, like the sharpness of a knife.

Even with earplugs in, Xia Ning still felt a throbbing headache.

The music seemed to transform into weeping, which grew louder and more mournful until it finally turned into a shrill scream.

Even more terrifying, her tricycle began to shake, and the sound of sharp claws scratching at the metal could be heard outside the vehicle.
