Chapter 121 Magic and Sword Techniques, The Assault Outside the Manor!

Su Lin naturally wouldn't miss such a good opportunity.

"They say it's the magical power of orc shamans. Can you ask Lyanna to confirm?"

With no one around, Su Lin finally didn't have to worry anymore and reached out to touch his earpiece to ask.

"Yes, boss, All-Round Sister said she smelled the stench of orcs, and she asked if you need her help?"

"No need, she's making too much noise. I'll go check on her first."

"Boss, you'd better be careful!"

"Don't worry, the NPC that can kill me hasn't been born yet."

Su Lin smiled and ran quickly into the night, constantly taking out combat potions from his waist bag and injecting them into his body.

Before leaving, he carried his backpack with him in case of emergency. At this moment, he was still unaware of the strength of the beastmen ahead. Su Lin was relatively frugal, only using a potion worth about 100,000 resource coins to specifically enhance his perception, defense, and stamina.

The more expensive the potion, the greater the percentage increase, and the more effective it will be given to Su Lin's already enormous base stats.

As the last dose of the medicine was injected into his body, Su Lin's speed suddenly increased. Even without using the lightness skill "One Leaf Boat", his physical speed alone was enough to create continuous, subtle sonic booms around him.

In less than a minute, Su Lin crossed the forest and arrived at the open space in front of the manor.

As soon as he approached, he felt a wave of heat rolling in. The entire manor in front of him was already engulfed in flames, with men, women, and children struggling to escape, crying and screaming all the while.

Not far from the manor, seven or eight humans dressed in strange clothes stood by, watching indifferently.

Su Lin looked closely and discovered that the seven or eight NPCs were not human at all. Instead, their bodies had wild animal features growing on various parts of their bodies, with at least a third of their bodies being wild, but it was not so obvious because they were covered by wide robes.

"These are orcs?"

Su Lin observed with great interest when suddenly one of the orcs seemed to sense something, abruptly turning his head to look at the hillside behind him, meeting Su Lin's gaze.

This is an orc with a huge cat head. Its head and upper body are beast-like, filled with furry, strong muscles. Its legs are bent backward, which are also typical of beast legs. Only its hands are like those of a human.

"There's a lone guy there, probably a patrol team from the neighboring city."

The cat-orc suddenly spoke, gesturing to the orc warrior beside him to deal with Su Lin: "Go kill that young human. We need to act faster."

"Yes, proceed with the ritual."

The orc warriors nodded. They communicated in orc language, which ordinary humans couldn't understand. However, the players had a special ability that allowed them to naturally understand any language they could hear.

"Sacrifice?"

Su Lin raised an eyebrow. He saw the two orcs next to the cat-man priest suddenly turn around, lie on the ground, and charge towards him in the form of wild beasts!

These two orcs were in the form of wolves, much larger than humans, with strong, steel-like muscles all over their bodies and bloodshot eyes. They pounced on Su Lin like a whirlwind in an instant.

"Humans, die!!"

A werewolf lunged forward, its large hand reaching out to grab Su Lin's face.

"Whoosh!"

Su Lin neither dodged nor evaded, but simply raised his Tang sword to block, wanting to personally experience the strength of the orcs.

After all, orcs who dare to venture deep behind enemy lines are at least elite warriors within their race, making them a valuable reference.

"Clang!"

With a tremor of the Tang sword, a tremendous force emanated from the orc's claws, traveling along the sword to Su Lin's arm, but he remained completely still, the force having no effect whatsoever, as if it had sunk into the ocean.

The werewolf warrior was momentarily astonished. This was completely different from what he had expected. How could a frail human patrolman withstand a full-force attack from an orc? This was utterly illogical!

But the orc warrior was experienced. Although he was surprised, he changed his move very quickly. His sharp claws gripped the Tang sword, ready to break it!

Given the fragility of ordinary human weapons, the orcs could easily break it!

At the same time, its other claw lashed out from below, aiming straight for Su Lin's neck.

"Pfft!"

Suddenly, the werewolf screamed, "Ah!!"

Its claws, which were gripping the Tang sword, were instead severed by the sword!

Su Lin never changed his move from beginning to end, still maintaining the defensive stance with his sword raised. His wolf claws were cut off by the Tang sword because he used too much force!

"Damn it! There's something strange about this knife!"

The werewolf warrior screamed and retreated violently, his severed hand bleeding profusely.

The sharpness and sturdiness of the Tang sword shattered his preconceived notions about human weapons. His lack of combat experience was fatal, but fortunately he had teammates!

Another werewolf warrior behind him had also arrived and attacked Su Lin from behind!

"Whoosh!"

Su Lin slashed his sword backward without moving, and the Tang sword flew out of his hand as if it had eyes, piercing straight into the chest of the werewolf who had launched the sneak attack.

"Pfft!"

Wolf blood gushed out, and the Tang sword pierced through his chest!

The werewolf was struck as if by a heavy blow, his sneak attack abruptly halted, and his body went limp as he collapsed. Before he could let out a painful scream, the Tang sword, drawn by its internal force, returned and pierced through his neck once more!

"Bang!"

The enormous wolf's head was severed, and the Tang sword returned to Su Lin's hands.

The werewolf warrior who had just retreated and dodged witnessed this scene firsthand. This young human had never changed position or turned around, yet he killed his comrade so strangely and easily!

In an instant, the werewolf's eyes widened. He realized that this human was far stronger than he had anticipated! He possessed martial arts techniques that he couldn't comprehend!
