"Whoosh!"

As if his body had eyes, Su Lin turned around almost instantly, drew his gun, and took aim.

Just as he was about to fire, he suddenly frowned and narrowed his eyes.

"Boss? Holy crap! It's my boss!"

Song Daqiang was overjoyed and quickly opened the door, no longer peeking around.

He had just heard a noise outside the door, so he quietly opened the door a crack to look, only to find Su Lin pointing a gun at him.

There was no fear or apprehension, only pure joy!

Song Daqiang suddenly felt it was dawn, and without saying a word, he walked towards Su Lin with a big smile: "Boss, what are you doing here? I was wondering why there was a familiar gunshot downstairs just now, so it was this gun!"

Just then, two women walked out of the door behind him. One of them was Anna, and the other was a strange woman wearing black-rimmed glasses.

The appearance of this full-strength team of three basically confirms that the commotion Su Lin heard in the parking lot earlier was true.

"Su Lin!"

When Anna saw Su Lin, her eyes were filled with a mixture of surprise and delight, but she also noticed the subtle atmosphere in the corridor.

When they met again after parting ways, their positions had completely changed; former teammates had become competitors.

Fortunately, Song Daqiang was thick-skinned. After a brief silence, he grinned and took out a map from his backpack, handing it to Su Lin: "Here you go, boss! This is the map for the current game. You should need it, right?"

"Hey, don't look at me like that! I know our relationship now, but how could I possibly compete with the boss for something!"

Song Daqiang shouted exaggeratedly, and Anna nodded in agreement, not finding Song Daqiang's words offensive at all.

Only the unfamiliar woman looked at Su Lin with great interest. She had obviously heard about Su Lin as well, and her eyes were full of inquiry.

"oh?"

Su Lin glanced at the three of them, his gaze settling on Song Daqiang's fat face: "Really? But when we parted last time, weren't you quite confident? You even said something like... 'Happy cooperation'? You sounded so profound!"

Su Lin was referring to Song Daqiang's sudden change in attitude and meaningful look when they parted.

"Huh? This!"

Song Daqiang's face stiffened, and he scratched his head awkwardly, muttering, "Boss... I'm sorry, I just wanted to show off..."
