Ling Miao stepped forward, poured a glass of ice water, and handed it to Susan. Looking at Susan's flushed face, she couldn't help but suggest, "Why don't you just throw it up?"

"No!"

Susan shook her head, tears streaming down her face, her expression contorted so much that Ling Miao almost laughed, but she maintained her smile: "Okay."

"If you feel unwell, you can stop at any time."

Susan nodded haphazardly, not listening to a word Ling Miao said; the taste was simply too alluring.

I initially thought the noodles were already incredibly delicious, but then a round fish ball slid into my mouth along with the noodles. The soft, bouncy texture, accompanied by a hint of sweetness, perfectly captured the fresh sweetness of the fish.

Contrary to the fishy and greasy smells one might expect, this fish ball has a delicate texture, no fishy odor whatsoever, and firm flesh, clearly indicating its superior quality.

Susan chewed and chewed, but finally swallowed it, savoring the taste again and again.

As the only race in the interstellar world that eats fish, Susan has tried countless kinds of fish since she was a child, but none of them could give her such a strong desire.

Ling Miao expressed her understanding.

Ling Miao smiled and said, "It's okay."

She paused, then looked at the girl in front of her with hopeful eyes: "Do you think there's anything about this meal that needs improvement?"

Upon hearing this, Susan quickly shook her head, "This is the best meal I've ever had! There's nothing that needs improvement!"

Seeing Susan's reaction, Ling Miao realized she had misunderstood something, but she didn't say anything. Instead, she looked at Susan with a smile and asked:

"Could you help me promote this place? Don't worry, there's a reward. You'll get a 50% discount for every customer you bring, and if you bring five customers, the meal is free!"

Susan bit her lower lip, looking into Ling Miao's expectant eyes, and awkwardly fled her gaze: "I...I'm sorry, I might not be able to do it..."

Ling Miao was taken aback, not expecting such a strong reaction. Seeing the girl on the verge of tears, Ling Miao quickly said, "It's okay."

She continued to explain, "I just wanted to attract more customers because there weren't many. I'm sorry to bother you. How about this, if you come to my restaurant every day for the next week, I'll give you a free meal, okay?"

Susan looked up at Ling Miao's expression, sniffed, and forcefully held back the tears that were about to fall. She shook her head and said, "I'm sorry, boss. I was just thinking about some bad things and couldn't help it. Thank you."

Ling Miao was at a loss, so she could only say, "It's alright, all difficulties will pass."

Upon hearing this, Susan lowered her head, her eyes filled with unconcealed distress.

Thinking of her cousin's smug look, Susan felt a surge of resentment, but even more so, a sense of helplessness and distress.

Her parents didn't believe her....
