Gu Ye did not go home alone, he brought Ningning back home.

As soon as Jiang Yue came out, she saw a small figure following Gu Ye. When he saw her, he timidly hid behind Gu Ye's legs.

"Ningning is back!" Jiang Yue was cold to Gu Ye, but she would not vent her anger on Ningning. As soon as she saw Ningning, she smiled and waved, "Come here quickly, let me see if Ningning looks good today."

Gu Ye naturally knew what pasta was. It was Western food. He frowned. Jiang Yue could actually cook Western food?

"Ningning told mom that she wanted to eat French fries, and mom agreed!" Ningning was not paying enough attention to the story. She twisted her little body and whispered in Gu Ye's ear, "Mom also promised to make ketchup for Ningning!"

"Dad, Mom is not the same as before!"

Gu Ye raised his sharp eyebrows and looked at Ning Ning with deep eyes, "Ning Ning thinks so too?"

Gu Ye touched Ningning's head and narrowed his eyes.

Jiang Yue ate a few tomatoes she bought a few days ago as fruit after the meal. She didn't dare eat cold food during the past two days as she had her period, so she had a few ripe tomatoes left, which were just right for making soup for pasta.

The ripe tomatoes were scalded in boiling water, and the skin could be easily peeled off. Then they were cut into pieces and fried in a pan with salt to remove the sand. Jiang Yue originally planned to make meat sauce, but there was no time, so she beat two eggs, added them to the tomato soup, and sprinkled them with chopped green onions.

Jiang Yue scooped up the cooked noodles from another pot, rinsed them with cold boiled water, divided them into three bowls, and finally poured the egg and tomato soup on top. A bowl of simple pasta was ready.

Gu Ye's bowl was naturally the biggest; Jiang Yue and Ning Ning's combined were not even half as much as his.

"Captain Gu, please come and serve it!" Jiang Yue called Gu Ye in to take the bowl out.

Gu Ye: “…”

He was still used to her calling him Gu Ye!

Jiang Yue promised Ningning that she would make French fries for her, so when frying tomatoes, she took out some, added sugar and simmered it for a while. Then she peeled two small potatoes, cut them into strips, and fried them in a pan until golden brown.

Ningning had been thinking about French fries and ketchup for several days, and had been looking into the kitchen eagerly. When she saw Jiang Yue coming out with her French fries in her hand, Ningning's saliva was about to flow.

"Ningning can eat three French fries first and save the rest for after she finishes eating the tomato noodles, okay?" Jiang Yue didn't want Ningning to eat the French fries and have no stomach for the noodles. The little girl was so thin, and it was obvious that she was malnourished like her. She needed to eat more.

"Yeah!" Ningning nodded hurriedly and counted out three French fries very carefully.

Jiang Yue looked at Ningning's solemn appearance and couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Gu Ye glanced over calmly.

“Boom boom!”

Just then, there was a knock on the gate.

"Hey, who's coming at this time?" Jiang Yue stood up to open the door. She thought it was Sister Zhao or Lian Rongrong coming to visit. These two people were the only ones in her social circle these days.

"I'll go!" Gu Ye stood up before Jiang Yue.

Jiang Yue sat down as well, but followed Gu Ye to the door with her big eyes blinking.
