Xu Milu searched high and low for a long time before finally finding two yellow, pitted stones that looked like jelly in the corner of a drawer in her room.

This is a piece of jade pebble that a friend brought back for her from Xinjiang. It's the closest thing to an energy stone that she could find right now.

Just to be on the safe side, Xu Milu wore two thick sweaters and a down jacket, making her look like a moving ball from a distance.

She thought about it and felt that this was not enough, so she added a cotton hat, gloves, and a mask, tucked a kitchen knife into her waistband, and put a pair of scissors in her pocket.

The feeling of security instantly put her at ease, but before Xu Milu could even look around, she plopped down on the ground.

The floor was soft, with a fluffy feel like a fine carpet.

Xu Milu quickly opened her eyes and found herself on a vast grassland with a strange-looking tree beside her.

She stared at everything before her, almost forgetting to breathe.

The grassland beneath my feet was black, a deep, dark color. Upon closer inspection, it was all covered with small, black grasses with long, thin blades, and the wind blew up waves like a black sea.

The strange tree growing on the hill resembled a mulberry tree, but its leaves were blood red, and its branches were covered with bright blue fruits the size of a baby's fist, as if they had been treated with some kind of inferior pigment.

As Xu Milu sighed, she took off her clothes one by one. She hadn't felt it before, but now it was unbearably hot.

Xu Milu carefully placed the handful of black grass leaves into a plastic bag, wrapping it several times to ensure it was safe before looking at the photos she had just taken with her phone.

Due to time constraints, Xu Milu only took five photos, three of which were too blurry to be identified and had to be deleted.

In the remaining photos, you can clearly see the grassland you just stayed on, and the tree with red leaves.

"What's this?"

Xu Milu zoomed in on the photo and saw the silhouettes of several strange-looking birds circling in the sky.

The large bird was a beautiful pink color all over its body, with long tail feathers and a plump, golden crest on its head. When it spread its huge wings and soared, the shadow it cast on the ground gave people an undeniable sense of oppression.
