Qin Haitao paused for a moment, then subconsciously looked at the seeds in the small wooden box.

It was a seed no bigger than a soybean, with a brownish-black seed coat, looking like a small black ball.

"A seed powerful enough to change the world?"

Qin Haitao couldn't help but chuckle and gently shook his head:

“Ms. Ren, researchers generally believe that there are more than 200,000 edible plant species in the world, and the number of seed species is countless. Just looking at the data, the number of seed species in the Norwegian Seed Bank reached 754,000 last year. Countless seeds have become extinct in the world. I just don’t know the origin of the seed that Ms. Ren is talking about that could change the world.”

Xu Milu didn't offer any explanation, but simply gestured for the group to look at the tray on the table—which contained several round, red-skinned eggs.

"Professor Qin, don't rush to refute me. I'd like you to take a look at these eggs and see if you can find any differences between them."

Xu Milu shrugged, and Qin Haitao, somewhat puzzled, looked at Zhang Cang beside him and found that he also looked blank, clearly not understanding what kind of riddle she was talking about.

Qin Haitao saw the eggs on the table as soon as he entered the reception room, but he didn't ask about them out of politeness.

He picked up an egg and examined it closely, but found nothing different:

“Miss Ren, is there anything special about these eggs? And how do they relate to this seed? I haven't noticed anything different. If I had to say—”

Qin Haitao picked out a few eggs with slightly reddish skin and a larger size, and joked:

"Are these a bit rounder?"

The atmosphere in the reception room became somewhat lively.

Xu Milu picked up the eggs, and without further ado, decisively cracked open the two eggs of different sizes:

Everyone in the meeting room looked on with suspicion, and Zhang Cang's face seemed to say, "What are you talking about, boss?"

Xu Milu nodded secretly in agreement.

If it were in the past, she would definitely have thought she was talking nonsense, but the plants in the Food World are just that unscientific. Breadgrass, milk berries, wheat ears and eggs are inherently unscientific.

"Professor Qin, this is no joke."

Xu Milu said seriously:

"I have no reason to play tricks on you. These so-called 'eggs' are the fruits of a plant called Wheat Ear Egg when it matures, which is why I'm introducing them to you."

Wheat Ear Egg Fruit (Phragmites australis) belongs to the reed family of herbaceous plants. Its seedling stage lasts twenty days, but its maturity period is only ten days, yet its fruiting period reaches an astonishing sixty days. A single plant can produce up to thirty wheat ear egg fruits per day. Isn't this a plant capable of changing the world?

She slowly closed the lid of the wooden box:

"However, the seeds of the wheat ear passion fruit are special, so I only accept item exchanges."

Qin Haitao pondered for a moment: "Then what would Miss Ren like to exchange for?"

"I like meteorites, jade, and all kinds of strange and unusual stones."

Xu Milu slowly said, "There are no restrictions on quality or quantity, and I will set the exchange standards."

It sounded like the seeds of counterfeit goods, with strange purchasing requirements. A young man with a somewhat youthful face next to Qin Haitao finally muttered something indignantly:

"Xiao Yang!"

"Without trust, there is no need for cooperation."

Qin Haitao stood up and strode forward. Although he didn't understand why the other party had suddenly turned hostile, he remembered his mission:

"The matter of giant delicious radish seeds..."

Xu Milu's eyes flickered, her pretty face filled with indifference:

"What does that have to do with me?"

She gave a somewhat wicked smile:

"These seeds are mine. I can sell them to whomever I want. Your agricultural university isn't going to force me to buy them, is it?"

Qin Haitao's expression was somewhat solemn.
