Chapter 17 Apology

When Yu Sheng calmed down, he saw that Yao Qian under him seemed to have fainted.

"Wake up!" He patted Yao Qian's face.

Yao Qian didn't wake up either, and he was a little worried.

Yu Sheng immediately took out a new set of clothes from the car and put them on Yao Qian.

He rolled down the car window and shouted, "Old Xu, go to Liu Jie."

When Old Xu heard his boss calling him, he got in the car immediately.

Looking at Yao Qian, who lay in his arms with her eyes closed and brow furrowed, Yu Sheng felt a surge of worry and heartache. He was afraid of losing Yao Qian, and this fear gripped his heart.

"Drive faster!" Yu Sheng shouted anxiously.

Old Xu understood Yu Sheng's mood at the moment. He stepped on the accelerator suddenly, and the car sped away like an arrow.

It wasn't long before the car finally arrived at the residence of Liu Jie, the private doctor. Yu Sheng rushed into the house, holding Yao Qian in his arms.

When Liu Jie saw Yao Qian lying unconscious in Yu Sheng's arms, she was shocked and immediately began to give Yao Qian a comprehensive examination.

After a while, Liu Jie said, "She was frightened and had a minor tear in her lower body, so she's temporarily unconscious. I've given her some medicine, and she'll recover after some rest."

After hearing Liu Jie's words, Yu Sheng's heart finally settled down and he breathed a sigh of relief.

He carefully carried Yao Qian to the bed in Liu Jie's bedroom, then sat beside the bed and stared at her quietly.

Yu Sheng was filled with regret, feeling he shouldn't have treated Yao Qian like that. He rarely lost control of himself, but once he met Yao Qian, his emotions became difficult to control. Every time he saw Yao Qian with other men, he would lose his mind and act drastically.

Yao Qian had a dream about a scene from a play she was watching. She was spotted by a powerful man and eloped with He Qingyun. When they were discovered, He Qingyun was beaten, and she rushed over to stop them.

"Stop hitting me, Qingyun!" she murmured.

Yu Sheng looked at Yao Qian lying on the sofa and found that she seemed to be about to wake up, so he moved closer to listen to see if she would say anything. However, when he got closer, he heard her calling out another man's name. This discovery made Yu Sheng's eyes instantly become cold and sharp.

Yao Qian slowly opened her eyes. She felt dizzy, but she still tried to see her surroundings clearly. When her eyes focused on Yu Sheng in front of her, she couldn't help but feel fear.

"Are you awake?" Yu Sheng stretched out his hand, trying to support Yao Qian and help her sit up.

However, because of the fear in her heart, Yao Qian unconsciously retreated, trying to avoid Yu Sheng's touch.

This action made Yu Sheng frown unhappily, but he didn't want to continue to scare Yao Qian.

"How do you feel?" Yu Sheng asked with concern.

Yao Qian shook his head slightly, indicating that his physical condition was not good.

"Not so good? Then tell me, where do you feel uncomfortable?" Yu Sheng asked anxiously.

Yao Qian's eyes gradually became moist, tears welling up in them. She choked and said, "I... feel uncomfortable, it hurts so much..."

Yu Sheng's expression became worried as he realized that the harm he had caused to Yao Qian might be more serious than he had imagined.

"I shouldn't have treated you like that." Yu Sheng sincerely apologized to Yao Qian.

Yao Qian was silent for a moment and did not immediately respond to Yu Sheng's request.

After a long time, she finally said, "I want to transfer schools." The main reason was that she didn't have the face to stay in her previous school, and she didn't dare to face He Qingyun.

Yu Sheng replied without hesitation: "Okay! I'll arrange it for you!"

Yao Qian fell silent.

Yu Sheng once again sincerely apologized to Yao Qian and hoped to get her forgiveness.

"Yao Qian, I was wrong today. Can you forgive me?" Yu Sheng turned around and faced Yao Qian, his eyes revealing sincere emotions and deep regret.

Yao Qian's eyes were filled with tears. Crystal tears slid down her cheeks and dripped onto the ground, splashing tears. She bit her lips tightly, trying hard not to cry out loud, but her voice was still trembling and choked.

"Do you really have to trample on my dignity like this?" Yao Qian raised her head and looked at the person in front of her with tearful eyes, her eyes filled with pain and despair. It was as if she was telling the grievances and pain deep in her heart.

Seeing her in so much pain, Yu Sheng's heart couldn't help but tighten. He realized that he might have gone too far. So, he gently took her into his arms, gently stroked her hair, and tried to soothe her emotions.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you," Yu Sheng said softly, a hint of guilt in his tone. "I just hope you can be a good boy and listen to me, so that there won't be so many conflicts and arguments between us. If you can be obedient, I promise not to let you suffer any more."

Yao Qian lay quietly in his arms, speechless. Her body trembled slightly, as if she was still immersed in the sadness she had just experienced.

Yu Sheng sensed that she was still feeling heavy-hearted, so he continued to comfort her: "Believe me, as long as you listen to me, I will treat you well! I will take care of you and make you happy!"
