Yuncheng Town is located in a remote area. By the time I reached there on foot, I had already missed the last bus out of the city. I had no choice but to return to my accommodation.

I woke up in the hospital, listening to the sound of an IV.

We both look small.

Then he asked another question. "Are you two college students? Do you want to keep your child?"

"Don't stay!" I said with a firm look.

"If you don't want to keep it, you can use medicine to abort it since you are still pregnant!" The doctor said coldly, as if he had seen too much and had become numb.

The doctor gave his instructions and walked out.

Lu Wan was shocked by the result. He looked a little awkward and remained silent.

I spoke first: "I have someone else's child, so we are not suitable!"

"You...how could that be!" His eyes were full of disappointment.

"Thank you for sending me to the hospital!" I looked at him and thanked him. "Let me handle my own affairs!"

He sat in his seat, holding his head in his hands, with a look of pain on his face, as if he was even sadder than I was to hear that I had a child.

After a long silence, he asked, "Who is the father of the child?"

"You don't know me, this is my private matter, I..."

Lu Wan was shaking with excitement, growling, "Yao Qian, I've only ever loved you! How could you do this? Don't you have any self-respect?"

He pulled harder. He angrily said, "I want to know who the father of the child is. How many times have you said you beat him without saying anything?"

What he said made my face turn red with shame, and tears started to flow as I cried in pain.

Lu Wan's words stabbed me like a knife, and I felt like I was bleeding. It was the shame of being treated like a bitch, just like his brother's ridicule yesterday.

Seeing Yao Qian in so much pain, Lu Wan softened his heart and let go of the hand that was holding her.

Lu Wan's tone softened a bit, and he said something to comfort Yao Qian. "I was emotionally agitated. I'm sorry!"

Lu Wan comforted me for a while.

His phone kept ringing, so he got up and went out to answer it.

I looked up at the time on the hospital clock and thought it would be better for me to leave Yuncheng first and abort the baby after I was settled.

I'm not sure if Lu Jun told Yu Sheng,

But if Yu Sheng catches him, the consequences will be unimaginable.

I stood up and wanted to leave when Lu Wan walked in.

"Lu Wan, I want to leave here."

"Get in the car and come back with me." Lu Jun pulled Lu Wan into the car.

Lu Wan looked at Yao Qian's departing back a few more times with some reluctance, but was still pulled into the car by his brother.

I ran to the intersection, hailed a taxi, and left.
