A story of mutual crushes and reuniting after a long separation, mainly set on campus. It's a sweet romance.
Su Xun falls in love with a boy, only to discover that the boy likes her too.<...
Su Xun quietly walked to the side and saw a thin book on the empty seat next to Pei Ke. She immediately had an idea and slowly asked, "Excuse me, is this seat taken?"
She deliberately raised her voice, using a high-pitched, affected tone, comparable to the concubines vying for favor in the harem, and her voice could give anyone goosebumps.
Hearing this seemingly deliberate voice, Pei Ke frowned, displeased that his thoughts had been interrupted. Without even looking up, he directly refused, "Sorry, this place is taken."
"Oh, but I just want to sit with you," Su Xun continued, though the last two words were tinged with a smile.
Pei Ke finally realized something was wrong. He turned around and saw a pair of smiling eyes looking at him with sparkling eyes. He chuckled helplessly, "You're up to your old tricks again."
He then moved the book aside, gesturing for Su Xun to sit down.
Su Xun sat down without any hesitation, continuing to stare at Pei Ke's profile. "You're just letting me sit here like this? Won't your girlfriend be angry?"
It was still just as affected as before, but this time Su Xun controlled his facial expressions and didn't end up laughing at himself.
"Don't worry, it's just the two of us today, my girlfriend won't know." He said casually, continuing to study the documents in his hands.
"Scumbag." She threw out those two words without any politeness.
"Don't you like scumbags too?" Pei Ke glanced at the little figure playing enthusiastically beside him.
The two rows in the classroom weren't far apart. The student in the front row overheard the shocking conversation behind him and turned around in surprise to see which scumbag was polluting his pure mind.
Turning around, I saw two familiar faces. One was the school heartthrob, and the other was Su Xun, who was quite famous not long ago. Both of them had very distinctive faces, and it was no secret that the two of them were dating.
"Sorry, my girlfriend is a bit dramatic," Pei Ke explained amicably to the boy in front of him.
The student pushed up his black-rimmed glasses and whispered, "No, it's okay."
Then he immediately turned his head back. He was forced to watch their lovey-dovey antics even in class. What did he do wrong? Besides, the way these two flirted was quite unique.
Pei Ke helplessly rubbed Su Xun's palm, "Alright, stop fooling around."
Su Xun felt embarrassed and a little shy when the classmate with glasses turned around.
It's a little embarrassing.
Feeling a flush of embarrassment, she pretended nothing was wrong and glanced at the printouts Pei Ke had spread out on the table—the same ones he had been looking at earlier, all of which were case analyses.
"Aren't you a Japanese major? Why are you studying law?"
“I minored in law.” He couldn’t concentrate on the dense text anymore, so he simply closed the stack of documents and pushed it over. “There are some interesting cases in there. Take a look if you’re interested.”
"I have no interest in these things."
"Then I won't look at it." Pei Ke smiled and moved the things back.
Not far behind, Lin Nuoyu looked at Pei Ke's doting smile, her hands clenched tightly, a sharp pain shooting through her palms.
She had been watching the commotion over there ever since Su Xun came in. Pei Ke had never smiled like that in front of them before; it was a tender and affectionate smile that she only showed to her lovers.
She was practically vomiting inside. If she hadn't acted impulsively and seen Zhao Jingjing's photo, she wouldn't have done such a stupid thing. Since that day, Pei Ke's attitude towards her had been very cold. Although he was polite, it revealed a sense of distance.
She had considered letting go of the relationship, but it was someone she had fallen for at first sight and had pursued for over a year; how could she give up so easily?
The hand was clenched too tightly, and the carefully done manicure was broken, revealing tender red blood vessels.
Classes end at 9 p.m., and two whole hours is not a short time.
Su Xun was naturally not interested in law or anything like that. She asked Pei Ke for paper and pen and started writing and revising on them.
Her novel is almost finished, and it's time to come up with something new. Besides, she's read a lot of books this semester because of her major, so she has plenty of inspiration.
If all goes well, she should be able to start a new story after the end of the semester.
Once you get into the zone, it's hard to get out.
Whenever Su Xun was conceiving a plot, he liked to build a scene in his mind and immerse himself in it, treating himself as a character in the novel, sometimes as the male or female protagonist, and sometimes as an observer.
If circumstances allow, she will act out the dialogue she wrote by herself, carefully experiencing the emotional changes of the characters.
Therefore, most of her novels are emotionally nuanced and can withstand scrutiny.
After giving Su Xun paper and pen, Su Xun got into his own world. He knew that Su Xun was serializing a novel online, and he would take a look at it when he had time.
Xiang Yang found out about it by chance and dragged him along to forcefully recommend Mu You Zhi Zhi. Although he was speechless at the time, he still managed to accept the fact that Xiang Yang liked reading romance novels.
Seeing Su Xun's serious expression, he smiled faintly, turned his face back, and listened attentively to the lesson.
It must be said that Su Xun's immersion in something is quite captivating.
However, being too engrossed in his own world and neglecting the person next to him made him very unhappy.
During the break, he turned around and looked at her for a long time, but she didn't react at all, staring blankly at the paper covered with scribbles in front of her.
Pei Ke looked at Su Xun's profile, but the other person remained unmoved.
Pei Ke poked Su Xun's arm with his index finger, and Su Xun said, "Don't daydream in class, pay attention."
