A story of mutual crushes and reuniting after a long separation, mainly set on campus. It's a sweet romance.
Su Xun falls in love with a boy, only to discover that the boy likes her too.<...
A few minutes later, I felt my shoulder getting numb from the pressure, so I moved my arm.
The person on top of her remained motionless, simply lying quietly on her. She turned her head to look at the unusually quiet person beside her and heard soft, even breathing.
Is it asleep?
Su Xun laboriously pulled one hand out, then gently sat up, supporting the man's head with one hand and pulling a pillow from the side with the other, placing it under Pei Ke's head. Then she lifted the man's legs and placed them on the sofa.
Pei Ke, who is over 1.8 meters tall, looked a bit cramped as he curled up in the small sofa.
Su Xun managed to settle the person down with difficulty. He had been careful not to wake them, and now he was slightly sweaty.
She crouched down and gazed quietly at the person lying peacefully on the sofa. The boy's tender face had unknowingly gained some definition, shedding his youthful naiveté and gaining a touch of maturity. His features were clear and cool, yet now mixed with a hint of obedience. He closed his eyes quietly, his thick eyelashes occasionally fluttering, indicating that he was not sleeping soundly.
Su Xun had always known that Pei Ke was good-looking, but this was just too good-looking. For a long time, the male protagonists in her novels were modeled after his appearance.
She couldn't help but extend a finger and touch the man's high, straight nose, slowly tracing it to the tip. This must be what they mean by sliding down the bridge of your nose in novels.
I suddenly remembered a quote I'd read before: "I've heard that men with high nose bridges..."
My gaze gradually slid down, landing on the black pants...
She quickly withdrew her hand, lowered her head, her eyes darted around, and her face flushed.
Why is my mind filled with such colorful nonsense? This is no good, no good. She patted her cheeks with both hands, stood up, but she couldn't shake off the thoughts that had just crossed her mind.
She decided to go read some books, hoping that Lu Xun's sharp writings might help her clear her head.
And so it was decided happily.
Just as I lifted my foot and took a step forward, my left hand was grabbed.
"Where are you going?" Her voice still carried a hint of sleepiness, a soft, rustling quality that made one's heart flutter.
Su Xun was already feeling guilty, so he didn't dare to look at the person behind him and stared straight ahead. "I'm going to review my lessons. You can continue sleeping."
Hearing that Su Xun wasn't going to leave him, he breathed a sigh of relief and pointed, "There's a small study over there, go there."
"Okay." Su Xun quickly fled this place of trouble.
Pei Ke looked at Su Xun's strange behavior, a hint of confusion flashing in his sleepy eyes.
He felt it when Su Xun touched his nose earlier; it was a little itchy. However, he was too tired to do so, so he let her be. Later, when he heard footsteps leaving, he was afraid that someone would leave while he was asleep, so he instinctively grabbed her.
Hearing the study door close, he closed his eyes again.
In order to get back as soon as possible, he rushed to the airport almost as soon as he left school, bought the earliest flight back to S City, went back to his apartment, and then ran to school to wait for Su Xun to finish class.
He experienced firsthand the urge to eagerly see someone, but the girl was heartless and completely ignored him at the entrance of the teaching building.
A short while later, his consciousness began to fade again.
Su Xun opened the door to the room Pei Ke had pointed out earlier, and only went inside after confirming that it resembled a study.
At this moment, however, he had no desire to study at all, so he casually pulled a book out of his bag and opened it.
"Upon seeing short sleeves, one immediately thinks of white arms, and immediately thinks of... This is the only level of thought that allows the Chinese to leap so far."
Su Xun: ......
Lu Xun never returned.
