A story of mutual crushes and reuniting after a long separation, mainly set on campus. It's a sweet romance.
Su Xun falls in love with a boy, only to discover that the boy likes her too.<...
"Su Xun, let's leave it at that for now, the president is urging us." Song Xueying, carrying two bags, looked at Su Xun, who was still taking pictures.
Su Xun carefully put the DSLR camera he had brought from the club into his bag and replied, "Coming right away."
She was the only member from the publicity department, so the task of taking photos naturally fell to her. She had never used a DSLR camera before. Last time, Senior Song had specifically gathered the members together to teach them how to use it, but hearing about it was one thing, and actually doing it was another.
She needed to take photos before the team set off, and she spent a long time adjusting the photos before finding a few that were acceptable.
With her big bag on her back, she realized that everyone around her had already boarded the bus, leaving only her and her senior, Song, to film outside. She followed the people in front of her and boarded a bus.
Our destination this time is Wugong Mountain in a neighboring province, which is most famous for its sunrise over the clouds. Every year, many tourists bring tents to the mountain to camp and wait for the sunrise in the morning.
The journey was only a little over two hours, and they chartered a bus.
Some classes treated this trip as a class team-building activity, registering in the name of their class. At this time, seven or eight buses were parked at the school gate, which was quite conspicuous.
Su Xun and Song Xueying boarded several buses, all of which were full, and finally found two empty seats on the last bus.
Song Xueying went up first, glanced around the car, turned around and waved, "Su Xun, there are empty seats here, come on up." Then she picked up two bags and walked to the seat at the front.
Su Xun was carrying a large bag on his back and a heavy camera in his hand, and he was sweating slightly.
Seeing her senior waving at her, she quickened her pace and got into the car.
She glanced around and saw that there was still one seat left in the back row. She tucked a few stray strands of hair behind her ear and walked towards the back.
Finally sitting down, she unloaded the burden from her back and slowly exhaled.
The car slowly started moving, caught up with the cars in front, and merged onto the main road.
It was early autumn, and she was wearing thin clothes. The power bank in her bag was sticking out of her back, and its hard edges were rubbing against her delicate skin, making her feel a little uncomfortable.
She turned her head and adjusted the position of her bag.
She turned her head and saw a handsome face staring at her. Almost the instant she looked over, she turned her head away, looking rather annoyed.
"Pei Ke, what are you doing here? Did your class come to this event too?"
Their association helps some classes or student clubs organize outings. Did their class come too?
"No," he replied calmly, continuing to stare straight ahead.
"Oh." It seems he still doesn't want to say another word to her.
Lin Nuoyu, who was looking out the window, heard the noise next to her and turned her head in confusion.
With a gentle smile, she asked, "Pei Ke, is that your friend? I've never seen him before."
As he spoke, his gaze shifted to the pretty girl who was just across the aisle, and he subtly sized her up.
“A classmate from junior high school.” He paused slightly, then spoke slowly.
"You're not going to pretend you don't know me this time?" Su Xun stared at the profile in front of him, the lines of which were clean and handsome.
Then he smiled at the girl next to him, as if to say hello.
"Shut up." He was a little annoyed, and suddenly turned his head to look at the mocking expression in front of him, and spoke harshly.
Su Xun raised an eyebrow smugly, which only made the boy more annoyed, and he glared at her.
"That's quite a coincidence," Lin Nuoyu said softly, breaking the subtle atmosphere between the two.
She had witnessed the subtle interaction between the two of them, and a sense of unease flashed through her heart. However, she still managed a polite smile and looked at Pei Ke, "But why didn't you contact me more often before? I've never heard you mention it."
Su Xun could sense the hostility from the girl sitting next to Pei Ke. She had only said a few words, but it was clear that she and Pei Ke had a very good relationship.
I felt a little sour inside.
Swallowing the bitterness in her heart, she slowly curved her lips into a smile, "Hello, senior, I also just came to this school this semester."
"Huh?" She seemed to still be processing what she'd just heard about "senior sister".
"I repeated a year of high school, so I'm a year younger than Pei Ke."
Pei Ke, who hadn't spoken until now, twitched his fingers slightly. Ever since he first saw her on the track and field, he had had more and more questions about her, such as why she was only a freshman in college.
"So that's how it is. It must be tough repeating a year." Lin Nuoyu still acted like a caring senior.
Su Xun had no intention of getting entangled with her any longer, so he casually replied with a few words, then ended the conversation, sat up straight, and looked down at his phone.
The senior's tone made her feel very uncomfortable. She didn't know about the senior's relationship with Pei Ke yet, and she didn't know how to face her.
Hopefully, it's not the worst kind of relationship; otherwise, there would be no point in coming here all this way.
He casually scrolled through the pages on his phone with his index finger, trying to dispel the unease that welled up inside him.
Pei Ke saw that after this person finished speaking with Lin Nuoyu, he turned his body back and showed no sign of paying attention to him. He snorted coldly, and the coldness in his eyes intensified.
Several buses traveling in sequence sped along the highway, the scenery rushing past them.
After passing the toll station leading to another province, the car didn't continue onto the main road but instead turned onto a side road. Private cars were passing by, presumably tourists taking advantage of the National Day holiday.
The further you drive in, the more beautiful the scenery becomes.
The evergreen branches stretched out in layers, making the path ahead seem even more secluded. It must have rained, for a wisp of bluish-white mist shrouded the mountains, seemingly there yet not there, like a dream.
