A story of mutual crushes and reuniting after a long separation, mainly set on campus. It's a sweet romance.
Su Xun falls in love with a boy, only to discover that the boy likes her too.<...
After taking a few sips of the sweet milk tea, my whole body felt warm, and my fingers, which had been stiff from the cold wind, became nimble again.
Su Xun slept unusually well during his lunch break today.
When Su Xun woke up, there were five minutes left before class. He took out his physics textbook and planned to review the key points from the previous lesson in case the teacher asked him a question during class.
Just then, a beautiful figure appeared at the door. Unlike the physics teacher's typical science-oriented attire, the person was dressed very fashionably even in winter. It was Ms. Shen, the English teacher. For some reason, it seemed that all the English teachers were the most stylish teachers in the whole school.
Ms. Shen is around thirty-five or thirty-six years old. She exudes the elegance and composure of a mature woman, with delicate features and is very patient with her students. Because her major is foreign languages, she is also particularly open-minded and tolerant, and gets along very well with the children. All the classes she has taught like this English teacher very much.
Su Xun still remembers her terrible English in the first year of junior high school. She even doubted that she would ever be able to learn it well in her life. Fortunately, she met a kind and gentle teacher who would point out her shortcomings very carefully and never get angry. No matter how dense Su Xun was, she eventually caught up. Moreover, she had Pei Ke by her side to help her.
Under the questioning gazes of everyone, Teacher Shen walked to the podium and stood still, tidying up her hair that had been slightly messed up by the wind.
"Your teacher, Ms. Li, has some things to do this afternoon, so I'll substitute for her." A gentle female voice said.
The room erupted in cheers. Those teachers who had to call on countless students to answer questions during a single class were now hoping to have as few classes as possible.
Ms. Shen rarely calls on students to answer questions in class. Even if you are called on, don't worry, she is very gentle and it's okay if she calls the wrong person.
However, even in English class, where the probability of being called on to answer questions is extremely low, Su Xun couldn't escape it today.
She seems to be called on by teachers of all subjects very frequently, and she doesn't know whether to be happy or sad.
The person on stage was speaking enthusiastically, holding a textbook and occasionally writing on the blackboard.
"This week we've focused on relative clauses. We've already had several lessons, and I don't know if everyone has figured out the structure yet. Su Xun, could you give us a sentence with a relative clause?"
Su Xun was startled when she was suddenly called. Even after so many times, she would still be startled reflexively every time her name was called.
She suddenly caught Zhou Beibei's gloating look beside her.
Slowly standing up, Teacher Shen repeated the question softly, "Can Su Xun construct a sentence using a relative clause?"
She suddenly noticed the pink and white cup in the upper left corner, and her heart skipped a beat.
She simply formed a sentence in her mind and slowly read it aloud:
"Forme, all the presentshegivesareprecious, especiallyacupofpearlmilktea."
The girl's voice was clear and crisp, and her eyes were gentle.
The boy in the front row of the fourth group seemed to have been struck by lightning. His body stiffened, a burning sensation spread across his fair ears, and his mind went completely blank. Then, a dazzling display of fireworks burst forth, or as if he were being swept away by wave after wave of ocean waves. It wasn't until a few seconds later that he regained his senses and his consciousness became clear.
She just expressed her liking in her own way.
A sweet sensation welled up inside him, engulfing his entire being.
Ms. Shen noticed the boy's red ear tips and then saw the milk tea cup on Su Xun's desk. She raised an eyebrow and said, "Maybe he is the most precious present."
After speaking, she gestured for Su Xun to sit down, wrote the sentence she had just made up on the blackboard, and began to analyze it.
She realized the situation with the two kids almost immediately; youth is truly wonderful. She'd heard recently that the two had been called in by the grade head for signs of early romance, so it seemed Ms. Li's prestige had waned.
The other students had no idea what had happened in those two minutes. They were just wondering why Teacher Shen had said that, but they didn't think much of it, assuming it was just a normal classroom question.
It wasn't until much later, when everyone gathered together and Teacher Shen brought up the matter, that they realized they had missed an incredibly subtle display of affection in class.
Su Xun sat down again, his heart pounding so hard it felt like it was about to jump out of his chest.
He didn't know where he got the courage from, but in a moment of impulsiveness, he blurted out those words. Perhaps the sweet scent of milk had permeated her entire body, every cell, which was why she couldn't help but tell him her thoughts, regardless of the consequences or hesitation.
Perhaps, he truly is the best gift.
The end of the year is fast approaching, and the entire school is preparing for the New Year's Day campus arts and culture gala.
As is customary in previous years, each class will submit a performance for selection, and the best performances will be staged a few days before New Year's Day.
As expected, Song Lisha was in charge of the performance for Class Two again. Her dancing skills are well-known, and she is always in charge of preparing performances whenever the school needs them.
However, she made some changes to the format this year. In previous years, she danced solo, but this year she plans to put on a stage play. During the National Day holiday, she saw her mother's tour performance, a stage play set in medieval Europe. It was very beautiful, but truly tragic, and she couldn't stop crying while watching it.
Song Lisha selected a few people from her class to participate in the performance. Due to the tight schedule, they had to squeeze out time to rehearse every day.
