A story of mutual crushes and reuniting after a long separation, mainly set on campus. It's a sweet romance.
Su Xun falls in love with a boy, only to discover that the boy likes her too.<...
"Phew, it's finally over. These past few days have been exhausting."
Wen Yanyan pulled at her hat, her face full of exhaustion.
Su Xun said gently, "Yan Yan, I'm planning to grab something to eat first. Would you like to come along?"
The person next to me shook their head. "I'm not hungry yet. I want to take a shower first."
"Or should I bring one back to your dorm for you?"
Suddenly, the other person hugged her tightly, saying, "Su Xun, you're so great."
Su Xun smiled, "Then it's the same as usual?"
"Um."
For the past two weeks, she has been eating with Wen Yanyan and has gotten to know her preferences.
The second canteen was closest to the second track and field stadium, so she went straight into the second canteen.
The drill ended at 11 o'clock. There weren't many people there yet, so she went straight to the self-service area, grabbed a plate, and picked up some food.
After selecting a few dishes I liked, I went to the front to pay with my campus card.
It wasn't until she got to university that she learned about the amazing campus card, which could be used as a bank card, swiped in the cafeteria, for hot water, and to open the doors of the teaching buildings.
She adapted very well after arriving here.
More and more people arrived, including first-year students like her who hadn't yet taken off their camouflage uniforms, as well as students from other grades dressed in casual clothes.
Su Xun, carrying her tray, looked around, trying to find a spot by the window.
My eyes swept across the entire cafeteria, and then I spotted two tall figures who had just walked in.
The contrast between movement and stillness is particularly eye-catching.
"Pei Ke, you and Nuoyu will be in charge of this field trip. I trust you both."
The person next to him had a cool and aloof look on their face, and said calmly, "I'm fine with anything."
"Okay, but we still need to discuss the time and place in detail this time." Duan Zian patted the person next to him.
He is the president of the photography association, which goes on a field trip every semester. However, he is currently doing an internship and has not had time to plan this event.
Seemingly sensing a burning gaze fixed on them, he nudged the person next to him with his elbow, "There seems to be a junior girl watching you up ahead, she's been watching for a while now, do you two know each other?"
He then looked up and saw familiar yet unfamiliar eyes and brows.
My emotions surged, but I eventually calmed down and uttered a simple, "I don't know him."
When Su Xun first saw him, she was pleasantly surprised. She had already made up her mind to come back and find him, but since the start of the semester she had been in military training and hadn't had time to ask around. The school was so big, with at least tens of thousands of students, and they had no contact with each other at all, so how could they meet so easily?
I never expected to run into her in the cafeteria today. If I had known, I would have gone to different cafeterias to wait for her during mealtimes.
She had been preparing to see him for the past two months, and now that the person she had been longing for was right in front of her, Shinma's anticipation was overwhelming.
She stood there holding her tray, staring in that direction for a long time without moving. It seemed that someone next to her had noticed her, and only then did she take a step forward.
She thought they should start by exchanging friendly greetings.
Just as they approached the door, the two people heard an unexpected "I don't know you."
Then she saw Pei Ke stretch out his long legs and walk away from her, leaving only a solitary figure behind.
A look of surprise flashed across her face, followed by deep disappointment.
She clearly saw the hint of surprise that flashed in his eyes just now, so why was he pretending not to know her?
He's still blaming her, isn't he?
After seeing that the person had left, Duan Zian took a deep look at the stunned girl and quickly chased after her.
"Hey, are you sure you don't know her? She seems to know you."
His tone was full of impatience: "I said I don't know you, and that's it."
"But that junior seemed really sad when she saw you leave."
Her steps froze for a moment, but her tone remained cold. "Then you must be mistaken. How could a liar be sad?"
Then I went straight to the vegetable selection area.
The person who remained behind looked thoughtful. "You said you didn't know me, but I've never seen you act so strangely before."
The gossip flame in my heart was ignited in an instant. This junior who always seemed so aloof from worldly affairs actually had something going on!
He eagerly pulled out his phone and opened the campus forum.
He hasn't been at school for a while and doesn't know what's going on there, but if something happens to a campus heartthrob like Pei Ke, it will definitely attract attention.
He browsed through the posts and was immediately drawn to the first photo.
Isn't that the junior from earlier? How did she become so famous in such a short time?
Thinking about the scene the two of them had just encountered, he raised an eyebrow. Interesting.
A figure landed in front of them, and then met a pair of cold, icy eyes. "Didn't you ask me to come out for dinner?"
Duan Zian touched his nose guiltily, "Oh, oh."
I was so busy gossiping that I forgot he was the one who invited people out to dinner today.
Su Xun ate a few bites of food thoughtfully, but thinking about what had just happened, she really lost her appetite. She then put the plate on the food cart, packed a few dishes for Wen Yanyan, and went back to her dormitory.
"Su Xun, you seem distracted as soon as you get back. What happened?" Wen Yanyan picked up a mouthful of rice and looked at Su Xun, who was staring blankly at the table.
Su Xun looked up, hesitating to speak, "Yan Yan, I have something to ask you."
The girl, her mouth stuffed with food, nodded indistinctly, "Mmm."
"I have a friend who likes a boy, but for some reason she left for a few years. Is it possible for them to get back together if they meet again?"
"I see. Well, that depends on the reason."
