A story of mutual crushes and reuniting after a long separation, mainly set on campus. It's a sweet romance.
Su Xun falls in love with a boy, only to discover that the boy likes her too.<...
As I entered the basketball court, the game had already been going on for some time.
The orange-red sun hung in the sky, its dense sunlight churning and swirling like boiling water, intense and dazzling. On the court, players alternated between red and white uniforms, sweat pouring down their foreheads, yet it did nothing to hinder their performance.
The basketball court was already surrounded by onlookers, including students from Rossi Middle School and No. 4 Middle School. Shouts of encouragement rose and fell, and pairs of eyes were intently watching the figures running on the court.
When Su Xun and Tang Shi arrived at their leisurely pace, this was the scene they witnessed.
Infected by the intense atmosphere around them, the two who had been unusually silent finally managed to temporarily put aside the chaotic thoughts in their minds.
"Su Xun, look at Jiang Ce, he's so handsome!" Tang Shi jumped up and pointed ahead.
Undoubtedly, amidst the red and white interplay, one figure stood out. His eyes, which usually couldn't hide their sharpness, were now intently focused on the situation around him. The warm red sunlight shone into his eyes and reflected back, making them appear to glow. His thin lips were pursed, revealing the intensity of the competition.
Undoubtedly, he stood out in the crowd.
"Didn't you come to see the handsome guys from No. 4 High School?"
"That was true at first, but now I only want to see Jiang Ce. Handsome guys are still better looking from our own school."
Su Xun had nothing to say about Tang Shi's nonsensical words; he just felt it was very hot outside.
She had no interest in watching the game, so the noise and excitement around her were amplified.
It's only April, how can the temperature be this high? Su Xun was starting to wonder how she had managed to get through April in previous years. Besides, it was really noisy around her. She had gone to bed late last night and was just about to take a nap when she was woken up. Now, standing under the blazing sun was becoming unbearable.
Feeling dazed and confused, Su Xun shielded his eyes from the blazing sun with his hand, his eyes stinging from the intense sunlight.
After a long time, or perhaps not too long, a cheer erupted from all around.
We won!
"Awesome! I knew our school would win!"
"Jiang Ce's last shot was absolutely brilliant."
"Su Xun, our school won."
Tang Shi had been following the game closely. When she saw that her school had won, she couldn't help but pinch Su Xun's arm, her voice filled with undisguised excitement.
Seeing that there was no movement beside her for a while, she finally came to her senses and noticed that Su Xun's already fair skin was even paler, almost transparent in the sunlight. She asked with concern, "Su Xun, are you feeling unwell?"
Su Xun shook his head. "I'm just a little dizzy from being in the sun."
After the competition ended and the crowd dispersed somewhat, Tang Shi helped Su Xun to a shady spot so she could lean against a tree to cool off.
After resting in the shade for a while, finally free from the scorching heat, Su Xun's complexion improved somewhat. Just as he was about to turn around and tell Tang Shi to go back to the classroom, he noticed that Tang Shi's body was trembling slightly.
"Jiang, Jiang, Jiang Ce."
As he spoke the name, his hand trembled uncontrollably.
Su Xun straightened up and saw that Jiang Ce was indeed walking this way. She took Tang Shi's hand and said, "Let's go, why are you shaking?"
He then tried to pull the person away, but to his surprise, the person wouldn't budge. Su Xun had no choice but to turn around and ask, "Why aren't you moving? I wanted to go back and get some sleep while we still had time."
"Su Xun, he seems to be watching us the whole time. Did we offend him?" Tang Shi asked softly, her voice trembling.
This time, Su Xun finally realized that Jiang Ce was notorious at school for being difficult to mess with. Tang Shi was trembling with fear when she saw him walking this way, after all, this guy was fearless when he got into a fight.
Speaking of offending him? Well, there really was such a thing.
But so much time has passed, is Jiang Ce really that petty? If he wanted to settle scores, he should have come looking for them long ago.
Su Xun glanced at the red figure approaching, whose expression was normal, so it shouldn't be here to cause trouble.
Before long, Jiang Ce had walked up to the two of them.
"Su Xun".
? ?
The person whose name was called looked blank. Why was she being called?
I glanced at him with a puzzled look. The boy's face was still a little red, left from the exercise he had just done playing ball. His hair was soaked with sweat, and there were still some sweat residues on his forehead that hadn't been wiped away, glistening in the sunlight.
But why did she see surprise in the boy's eyes?
"Su Xun, I'm calling you." Tang Shi couldn't help but tug at Su Xun's clothes when she saw that Su Xun was lost in thought and didn't answer.
"Ha, Jiang Ce, is there something you need?" Su Xun gave a dry laugh.
"I just wanted to ask you, did you finish the candy? Did you like it?" The boy was still a little embarrassed and scratched his hair.
"Huh?" Su Xun didn't react for a moment. "Are all those White Rabbit candies on my seat just there?" Then he realized.
Wasn't it a bald classmate who brought it over?
"Brother Ce, I was just about to get you a towel when you disappeared. So you came this way." A somewhat clumsy figure came running from not far away, with a clean-shaven head.
spiced corned egg!
A word suddenly popped into Su Xun's mind, as if something flashed by, but it quickly disappeared.
The bald man walked over and handed the towel to Jiang Ce.
"Tsk." The boy was waiting for an answer when he was suddenly interrupted, and he frowned impatiently.
Jiang Ce was already the center of attention after the competition, and now that people were blocking the way in front of a little girl, the students who were planning to go back turned around.
Those who enjoy watching the drama thrive on it, and judging from the way the two were positioned, a scene straight out of an idol drama unfolded in everyone's minds. Everyone around them was giving them knowing glances.
Su Xun felt a little uncomfortable being stared at by so many people and awkwardly tugged at the hem of her clothes.
