After half a year of marriage, Rong Jing and Su Yinwan never lived together, always living separately.
In the eyes of the Rong family, Su Yinwan was gentle and graceful, a competent Mrs. Rong...
Wednesday morning.
The weather was perfect, with a gentle breeze and just the right amount of sunshine.
Taking advantage of the nice weather, Su Yinwan had the idea of going to Sifang Tiandi on University Road for a stroll.
The four directions of heaven and earth.
The largest shopping mall in Chengdu, with a total of fifteen floors.
It encompasses a wide variety of categories and brands, including clothing, food, jewelry, entertainment facilities, and more.
Many luxury brands are located here.
Su Yinwan took out her phone from her pocket and dialed Yun He's number.
The call was answered quickly. "Wanwan, what's wrong? Why are you calling me all of a sudden?"
"It's nothing serious, I just wanted to go to Sifang Tiandi today, do you want to come with me?" Su Yinwan played with the ears of the teddy bear in her hand.
"Emmm, I'm not free today. I found out that Ye Chen is off today, so I specially switched shifts to wait for him downstairs, haha."
Su Yinwan smiled and teased, "Alright, alright, you've always tried your best to get what you want since you were little. I hope you can win over Dr. Ye soon."
"Thanks for your kind words, mua, I'm hanging up now."
"Uh-huh."
Su Yinwan looked at the phone that had been hung up, shook her head and smiled, picked up the milk that had been prepared a while ago, and drank it down in a few sips.
She went upstairs to change her clothes. Considering the long walk ahead, Su Yinwan specially chose a pair of black wide-leg pants and paired them with a white chiffon blouse.
She walked up to the shoe cabinet and looked at the rows and rows of high heels, but had no particular thoughts.
Looking further down the list, I finally chose a pair of comfortable flat shoes.
She grabbed her car keys and prepared to drive there herself.
Just as she was about to step out the door, Rong Xue'er came downstairs and asked Su Yinwan, looking slightly sleepy, "Sister-in-law, where are you going?"
"I'm going to Sifang Tiandi on Daxue Road for a bit, do you want to come?" Su Yinwan stopped in her tracks as she was about to step out the door and looked back at Rong Xue'er.
"Can I come with you?" Rong Xue'er instantly snapped out of her daze. "Sister-in-law, wait for me for five minutes. I'll go upstairs and get ready and then come right back down."
After saying that, Rong Xue'er rushed back to her room.
Soon, she changed out of her pajamas, tidied herself up, and went downstairs.
The two got into the car, chatting and laughing.
"This is my first time riding in my sister-in-law's car. I bet my brother hasn't either," Rong Xue'er said playfully as she fastened her seatbelt in the passenger seat.
"Be careful your brother gets jealous, or he won't let you sit here anymore," Su Yinwan said with a smile.
Rong Xue'er waved her hand, fearlessly saying, "Don't be afraid, I'm here with you, sister-in-law."
Su Yinwan smiled, turned on the music in the car, turned the steering wheel, and drove towards Sifang Tiandi.
As the intro "Hello it's me" began, Rong Xue'er started humming along.
"I was wondering if after..."
Little did she know, she had forgotten the rest of the lyrics.
But she remembered the tune of the song, and then she started humming along, getting more and more enthusiastic.
Su Yinwan smiled indulgently at her ecstatic expression.
After singing the last line, Rong Xueer seemed to linger.
She clapped her hands and said directly to Su Yinwan, "Does sister-in-law like this song too? It used to be my brother's favorite song, he used to sing it with..."
Rong Xue'er suddenly covered her mouth, realizing she almost blurted out Luo Mengyun's name. Luckily, she stopped herself. It was a good thing her sister-in-law didn't know, otherwise her brother would have given her a beating.
She quickly changed the subject, "Sister-in-law, what kind of music do you usually like to listen to?"
Su Yinwan had noticed Rong Xue'er's unusual behavior long ago, but she didn't expose her. With whom? A man? A woman?
Su Yinwan immediately wanted to know who that person was, but she didn't want to pressure Rong Xue'er.
Finally, I answered her question directly, "I don't usually have any favorite songs; I just listen to whatever I feel like."
After the previous little incident, Rong Xue'er dared not say anything more, and the carriage was quiet.
Thirty minutes later, we arrived at the Four Directions World.
Su Yinwan drove into the underground parking lot, and after parking, she and Rong Xueer took the elevator up.
Su Yinwan did not make a specific list of what to buy; she always bought whatever she liked.
Su Yinwan and Rong Xueer arrived at the sixth floor, which, along with the floor above it, was mostly filled with boutiques.
Rong Xueer was immediately drawn to the dazzling array of goods in the store.
There are oddly shaped hair accessories, sparkly and unique ornaments, exquisite and unique tea sets, and so on that it is overwhelming.
Before long, Rong Xueer's medium-sized basket was filled with all sorts of trinkets.
Not quite satisfied, she went and changed to the biggest basket.
Judging from her entourage, even the biggest one wouldn't be enough to impress her.
Su Yinwan was amused by Rong Xueer's shopping spree and quickly stopped her, saying, "That's enough, otherwise we won't be able to carry all that stuff back."
"Don't worry, we can call my brother for help."
Su Yinwan was speechless for a moment. Rong Jing was indeed omnipotent to Rong Xue'er.
She simply let Rong Xueer wander around on her own while she started picking out decorations that suited the store.
After wandering around for a while, just as Su Yinwan was feeling discouraged, she saw the glass painting handicrafts displayed on the shelf.
With different color combinations and graphic designs, the colors are vibrant and sophisticated.
Su Yinwan thought for a moment and realized she could buy a few and put them on the wooden cabinet on the second floor.
She also picked out several strawberry bears of different sizes to place in the photo area.
Turning around, she saw a whole row of blind box figurines taller than her, each from every series.
