Heart's Pet: President Rong Falls in Love

After half a year of marriage, Rong Jing and Su Yinwan never lived together, always living separately.

In the eyes of the Rong family, Su Yinwan was gentle and graceful, a competent Mrs. Rong...

Chapter 5 Sharing a Room

Su Yinwan usually dresses quite modestly when she goes to the old house, so today she simply chose a rather conservative outfit.

I put on a light makeup and chose a gold-inlaid jade bracelet from the jewelry cabinet on my dressing table. I didn't wear any other jewelry.

The simpler it is, the more natural it is.

Su Yinwan tidied herself up and went downstairs, intending to call Rong Jing to tell him that he was ready.

Looking towards the door, I saw that his car was already parked outside.

Not knowing how long she had been there, Su Yinwan stopped thinking about it and walked straight away.

The back door was open. Rong Jing stopped holding his tablet when he heard footsteps and looked over.

Su Yinwan was wearing a white and blue retro long dress with sleeves reaching her elbows, and her long black hair was draped down her back with a few wisps of hair around her ears.

The years are peaceful and serene, and timeless beauties grace every eye; all that meets the eye are lovely women.

Having been married for so long, Rong Jing had never taken this marriage seriously, and his wife had naturally never paid close attention to it. But seeing her again today, she was both charming and sweet.

Su Yinwan seemed to sense the intense gaze and looked up, their eyes meeting.

Seeing the unreadable emotions in the man's eyes, Su Yinwan stumbled and fell.

After getting into the car, the woman's fragrant gardenia scent made Rong Jing's expression relax and feel very comfortable.

They remained silent the entire way, a habit Su Yinwan had long since grown accustomed to.

Soon, the car stopped in front of the old house.

Rong Xueer was waiting at the door early in the morning, and was very happy to see her brother's car.

Rong Jing got out of the car first, and Rong Xue'er ran over to give him a hug, but Rong Jing ruthlessly blocked her with his hand.

Seeing this, Rong Xue'er pouted angrily, "Brother, we haven't seen each other for so long, don't you miss me? Be careful, or I won't help you."

Rong Jing didn't speak, but glanced meaningfully at Su Yinwan.

Rong Xue'er immediately understood, walked around the car, ran to Su Yinwan, and said in a coquettish tone, "Hello, sister-in-law. We haven't seen each other for so long. It's all because I went abroad to study. But I heard from my mother and the others that you are doing very well. Today, I saw you and I think you are doing very well too."

Su Yinwan was flattered and looked at Rong Xue'er in her arms.

"Come in quickly, Mom made a lot of your favorite dishes today."

Rong Xueer linked arms with Su Yinwan as they walked toward the restaurant, acting very familiar with each other.

This gradually put Su Yinwan's mind at ease.

She had never met Rong Xue'er, only knowing that Rong Jing had a younger sister who went abroad to study last year.

Su Yinwan remembered her appearance because Rong's mother had shown her a family photo.

I had thought this younger sister might be as spoiled, unreasonable, and aggressive as those in novels.

Unexpectedly, her baby face looks really cute; I really want to reach out and pinch her chubby cheeks.

Looking at the two people in front of him, Rong Jing unconsciously took out his phone from his pocket and took a picture of their backs.

Rong Jing himself didn't know why.

Dinner began at the old house, and as always, Rong's mother considerately served Su Yinwan many dishes.

"Mom is so biased. I finally came back, look at my sister-in-law's bowl, and then look at mine."

Rong Xueer pretended to be angry, put down her chopsticks, and clasped her hands together in front of her chest.

"Okay, okay, here you go. Here, this is your favorite chicken leg."

After saying that, Rong's mother smiled and put a chicken leg into Rong Xue'er's bowl.

The meal was made even more lively and harmonious by Rong Xue'er's cheerful laughter.

After dinner, Rong Xue'er pulled Su Yinwan to the living room to eat fruit and chat.

She said softly, "Sister-in-law, is my brother usually like an ice cube, never saying a word? Don't you find it boring to be around him?"

"No, your brother is quite good too." Perhaps to save Rong Jing's face, Su Yinwan pretended to give a positive review.

And so, the two chatted for a long time, exchanging only a few words.

Seeing that it was almost midnight, Rong's mother looked at the time and discussed with Su Yinwan, "Wanwan, it's so late, why don't you stay at the old house tonight? You and Rong Jing can stay at the old house tonight."

Upon hearing this, Su Yinwan gripped the hem of her skirt tightly with both hands, but had no choice but to agree, "Okay, Mom."

Madam Rong then instructed the servants to clean their room.

Since they usually tidy up their rooms, they don't need much time to decorate this time.

Soon, only Rong Jing and Su Yinwan remained in the room.

The atmosphere was very awkward. Su Yinwan walked to the wardrobe to take out her pajamas and go take a shower.

Upon opening the closet door, the pajamas were all thin black lace nightgowns or white silk nightgowns with double V-necks.

Su Yinwan carefully selected a set of pajamas from the pile of fabrics that were so thin they couldn't be thinner, but she was greatly disappointed.

Su Yinwan walked out helplessly and came to Rong Jing. She said gently, "Why don't you take a shower first? You must be tired after a long day."

Rong Jing hummed in agreement and walked past her.

His pajamas were hanging next to Su Yinwan's pajamas. Only after opening the closet door did he discover that pile of black and white nightgowns.

He understood why the woman had come back; he clearly remembered that she had just gone to take a shower.

Are you shy?

Looking at the pajamas, Rong Jing's eyes slightly lifted.

He wasn't in a hurry during the long night.

As she listened to the sound of water in the bathroom, time ticked by, and Su Yinwan grew increasingly nervous.

This was the first time the two had spent the night together in a room, and Su Yinwan was very uneasy.

Helpless, she leaned back on the sofa, staring at the ceiling, clutching the plush toy in her arms, nervously tugging at its ears.

Twenty minutes later, Rong Jing opened the bathroom door.

Su Yinwan looked over at the sound and saw a man with his upper body bare, drying his dripping hair with a towel. Water droplets dripped from his cheeks down his chest and down to his abs.

His body lines are perfectly proportioned, with broad shoulders, a thin back, a narrow waist, and toned, muscular abs.

Su Yinwan felt like her nose was about to bleed. How long had it been since she'd seen such a great physique? None of the younger guys she'd seen before her marriage could compare to even a tenth of his.

Her heart suddenly raced, and Su Yinwan strained to look away from Rong Jing.

Just as she was lost in thought, Rong Jing silently walked behind her, leaned down, and whispered in Su Yinwan's ear, "It's your turn."

Su Yinwan's ears turned red without her realizing it, and she saw water droplets from the man's hair fall into her palm.

Su Yinwan suddenly got up, quickly went to the wardrobe, picked out a set of pajamas, and ran to the bathroom.

Seeing the woman's flustered appearance, Rong Jing couldn't help but smile.

I never expected her to have such an adorable side. It seems I'll have to find time to work on our relationship in the future.

Su Yinwan stayed in the bathroom for a full hour, and Rong Jing almost thought she had fainted inside.

The woman slowly opened the bathroom door, revealing a black silk nightgown with a double V-neck.

Her long, wet hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her smooth, fair skin, damp with water, was faintly visible, making her exceptionally sexy.

Rong Jing watched as the woman uncomfortably pulled down her skirt, perhaps feeling it was too short. Little did she know that the more she pulled it down, the more exposed her upper body became. Rong Jing's Adam's apple bobbed involuntarily.
