Heart's Pet: President Rong Falls in Love

After half a year of marriage, Rong Jing and Su Yinwan never lived together, always living separately.

In the eyes of the Rong family, Su Yinwan was gentle and graceful, a competent Mrs. Rong...

Chapter 6 Moving Back to Shallow Moon Bay

Rong Jing felt a surge of heat in his body, but he pretended to remain calm as he left the room.

The man went downstairs, took a bottle of ice water from the refrigerator, and drank it down in large gulps.

Hearing the sound of the man opening and closing the door, Su Yinwan finally raised her head.

She quickly dried her hair, tidied herself up, and finally lay down on the bed, wrapping herself tightly in the blanket.

And so, on that tense and uncertain night, Su Yinwan thought she would have a sleepless night, but she fell asleep very quickly.

Rong Jing stayed downstairs for a long time, and seeing that he had gradually calmed down, he leisurely returned to his room.

Upon entering the room, they found the woman already asleep in bed.

Looking closer, Su Yinwan's eyes were tightly closed, her soft, long hair was scattered on the pillow, and her small face, turned to the side, was flushed, making her look incredibly beautiful.

Rong Jing inhaled her fragrance, becoming completely absorbed in it, which soothed his entire body and soul.

He pulled the woman into his arms, closed his eyes, and spent the night with her.

The next day.

Su Yinwan woke up in the soft morning light. She gently rubbed her sleepy eyes and was about to get up.

Finding the man's hands wrapped around her waist, preventing her from moving, she carefully pried his fingers apart, but to no avail.

"Has Mrs. Rong woken up?"

Suddenly, Rong Jing turned over, blocking the sunlight, and leaned down to kiss him.

He gently bit her lips, held her palm tightly with one hand, and placed the other hand on the back of her head.

The woman wanted to avoid the physical contact in front of her and tried to push him away forcefully, without giving any response.

The man on top of her seemed to be angry and bit her hard before going into the bathroom to wash up.

Su Yinwan glared angrily at the man's back and growled, "Rong Jing, are you a dog? Biting people first thing in the morning."

"If I were a dog, I wouldn't just bite you once, otherwise you wouldn't even have the strength to speak."

The man's casual remark infuriated Su Yinwan so much that she threw a pillow onto the carpet.

When the two came downstairs, the Rong family members were already seated at the dining table.

Seeing the bite marks on Su Yinwan's lips, everyone looked at each other and laughed.

Su Yinwan lowered her head in embarrassment.

Grandpa Rong grinned from ear to ear and instructed, "Xiao Ning, go to the storeroom later and get some tonics for the young couple to take back and nourish themselves. You've really gone to a lot of trouble."

Upon hearing this, Rong's mother quickly nodded, "I understand, Dad."

Su Yinwan found this breakfast extremely unpleasant, feeling as if she were sitting on pins and needles.

After breakfast, Grandpa Rong asked Rong Jing to take Su Yinwan back to Qianyue Bay first, and then go to the company.

The two walked towards the car one after the other when suddenly a voice came from behind, "Brother, sister-in-law, wait for me."

Looking back, Su Yinwan saw Rong Xueer dragging a suitcase toward them.

"Sister-in-law, can I stay with you for a while? My parents and grandpa are always nagging me at home. Can I have some peace and quiet at your place?"

Looking at the little girl's bright, sparkling eyes and her coquettish way of holding her hand, Su Yinwan had no choice but to nod in agreement.

Rong Xue'er raised her hand and cheered with joy. She quickly asked her brother to put the suitcase in the trunk and then sat down in the back seat.

Su Yinwan seemed to be deep in thought as she walked.

Oh no! She usually lives alone in Shallow Moon Bay; Rong Jing has never been here. What if Xue'er finds out they're separated? What if she tells Grandpa?

Su Yinwan was at a loss and patted her head in bewilderment.

Rong Jing glanced at her, seemingly seeing through her thoughts, but said nothing, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Upon arriving at Shallow Moon Bay, Rong Jing drove away.

Su Yinwan helped Xue'er pull her suitcase inside.

After changing into slippers, Su Yinwan took Xue'er to the guest room.

I quickly tidied her up and then went back to the master bedroom.

Upon entering, I noticed that it was somewhat different from what I had seen before.

After observing carefully, she noticed that there were more men's items in the master bedroom. Opening the cabinet door, Su Yinwan saw that one side of the wardrobe was full of men's clothing, and the bathroom was also equipped with men's toiletries.

Su Yinwan guessed that Rong Jing must have known yesterday that his sister was coming to stay, so he arranged for someone to put these things away in advance? No wonder she had just noticed that there were a few more pairs of men's shoes in the shoe cabinet downstairs.

Looking at the things that had already been prepared, Su Yinwan finally breathed a sigh of relief.

After she tidied up, she left the master bedroom.

Seeing Rong Xue'er talking to Aunt Liu in the living room, Su Yinwan walked downstairs with a question mark on her head.

"Aunt Liu, what brings you to Shallow Moon Bay? Aren't you at the old house?"

"Young Madam, it was Madam who arranged for me to come. She was worried that you wouldn't be able to take care of yourselves," Aunt Liu replied with a smile. "Madam also specifically instructed me to cook more good dishes to nourish your bodies. In case you have a little master later, I can help you take care of him, okay?"

Aunt Liu rubbed her hands together expectantly, as if the young master were right in front of her.

Su Yinwan hummed in agreement, then rubbed her forehead, unsure of what to say.

She felt as if her good days were coming to an end, and the days of freedom and solitude were getting further and further away from her. She was heartbroken.

After saying that, Aunt Liu went to the kitchen and started doing housework.

Rong Xue'er pulled Su Yinwan down to sit. She thought her new sister-in-law was very beautiful, with a captivating charm.

Her voice is gentle and sweet, and her manners and speech are impeccable, making people want to get closer to her.

She was so glad that her brother had married this beautiful woman instead of the heartless and cold-blooded Luo Mengyun.

Otherwise, she would have cried from anger.

"Sister-in-law, let me show you my life abroad, it's so interesting!" Rong Xue'er couldn't wait to reveal everything about herself to Su Yinwan so that she could learn more about her.

Su Yinwan watched Rong Xue'er chatter away, her words both playful and adorable.

It seems that having one more person in your life can be quite interesting.

The once quiet Shallow Moon Bay is gradually becoming more lively.

After a while, it was already evening. Aunt Liu had prepared dinner and called them to go to the restaurant for dinner.

"Aunt Liu, aren't you waiting for my brother to come back for dinner?"

"Young Master called to say he won't be back tonight, so there's no need to ask him to stay for dinner."

Upon hearing this, Su Yinwan was even happier, and her mood instantly improved.

She was also thinking that if Rong Jing came back tonight and stayed overnight, wouldn't she have to stay with him again?

Now I can relax, no need to worry or panic.

Thinking of this joyful thing, Su Yinwan had a great appetite and ate several bowls of rice for dinner.

Aunt Liu's cooking is so delicious; I'm in a great mood since someone isn't coming home.

Today is a good day, I'm in a great mood.

Finally, Su Yinwan, supporting her pregnant belly, slowly made her way back to the master bedroom, holding onto the stair railing.
