"Why did you come shopping with me?" Fushiguro Megumi asked.

He picked up a bottle of drink from the shelf, turned to look at Yuuki Matsuna, whose face was practically screaming curiosity, and asked, "...Are you some rich girl here to experience the life of an ordinary person?"

Fushiguro Megumi sighed, put the last thing he needed into the shopping cart, and pushed the cart toward the checkout, with Yuuki Matsuna following closely behind him.

She coughed twice and replied seriously, "Mommy told me that if I want to have many boyfriends at the same time, I must be rich and take the initiative to pay for them and be responsible for their lives. Only then will my boyfriends be willing to follow me."

That's not a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, it's just a platonic relationship, isn't it?!

"My mommy told me that the most important thing for a woman is experience. It's a waste to only have one relationship in your life. Pure love is just nonsense to fool children and make girls obedient and pure."

Matsuna Yuuki frowned and said, "Mommy said love isn't that supreme. All that stuff is bullshit. She told me not to live under the gaze of the world, to pursue what I want, and to have as many boyfriends as I want, as long as I can protect myself."

"Oh, right," she added, "Mommy said that since men can have multiple girlfriends and even have multiple wives, why can't girls?"

Fushiguro Megumi had forgotten what he had just wanted to say. He understood why Yuuki Matsuna's mother had said that: "Auntie... has a pretty open mind."
