Chapter 126 Those who followed

Finally, there was the seaweed soup: "This is okay, but there aren't enough eggs."

"You mean there's nothing to eat, right?" Dong Ya looked at her reluctantly, "Then I'll pour it."

"Never mind," she stopped him, "it's still doable. Just remember not to put too much seasoning next time."

Dongya sat opposite her and served some rice: "I think we should find someone who can cook."

Ouyang looked at him and said, "Forget it. To be honest, you haven't been cooking lately, and you don't have anything else to do."

"Are you treating me as a long-term nanny?" Dong Ya was dissatisfied.

"Don't you think you didn't know someone was following you recently?"

He felt a little strange. He always went out alone and never paid attention to the people around him. As for who was following him, he naturally didn't know: "What did you find?"

Ouyang shrugged, thinking that Dongya was better off staying in the house. He never wanted to observe or talk to anyone around him, let alone know who was following him.

"Well," Ouyang said quickly, "follow me later and you'll know who it is."

Dongya couldn't understand why he was following her instead of her following him. Did he have eyes on the back of his head?

After dinner, Ouyang, wearing a windbreaker and holding a guide stick, walked out little by little. Dongya followed her as she asked and walked into the subway station. She touched the railing little by little and walked up the stairs.

Suddenly, she was knocked down by someone in front of her and nearly fell down the stairs. Fortunately, Dongya was quick to catch her.

"What's going on?" Dong Ya asked softly in her ear, "You really can't see?"

Ouyang remained calm and held the guide stick tightly: "Thank you!" Then he continued walking forward.

At this moment, the person behind Dong Ya quickened his pace, trying to get through the crowd. Unfortunately, Ouyang seized the opportunity and the person tripped over his cane, falling to the ground and bleeding from his nose. But Ouyang continued to pretend not to see and walked forward.

The man immediately stood up and wanted to cause trouble for Ouyang, but when he looked at Dongya behind him, he could only hold his nose and leave. Ouyang's mouth curled up, and the other person's behavior clearly showed that he was guilty. So she continued to walk forward and got on the subway. Someone gave her a seat next to the door so that she could get off the train easily.

Dongya, with her back to Ouyang, could see her through the glass window opposite. She truly looked like a blind person. Her hands rested on her side, as if she didn't feel completely safe. So she felt ahead, trying to find some support. She accidentally bumped into the corner of the person in front of her, who moved away. She stopped searching and placed her hands on her chest, listening intently to the announcement of the subway station.

At the next stop, and the next, the number of people getting off was always less than the number of people getting on, so Dongya was squeezed into a corner. Ouyang felt it was time to get off, so he stood up, his guide stick stretched out in his hand, and touched Dongya in the corner. He saw her getting off and wanted to follow him, but at the last moment, Ouyang pulled her back.

But the few people who got off seemed to be looking for something. They looked into the subway with disappointment on their faces.

Dongya looked at Ouyang in surprise. She was a very smart person, and she got rid of several big men just like that. They walked out of the next stop. The clouds in the sky were moving faster and faster, as if they were rushing to attend someone's party. Dongya followed Ouyang into a bookstore. The clerk in the bookstore saw that she was a blind person and quickly reminded her: "The book you need is on the second row of bookshelves in front." Those were books specially prepared for the blind. Seeing that she was a little confused, the clerk led her to the bookshelf. Then he came back and greeted Dongya: "Sir, what books do you need?"

"I'm just looking around."

"Okay." The clerk left and went to sort the books somewhere else. As long as the customers didn't want to, he would not bother them anymore and would walk away to avoid embarrassing them.

Dongya went to find Ouyang and saw her constantly touching books. She looked around and saw no one else, so she wanted to talk to her, but she put the book down and walked towards another row of bookshelves.

Suddenly, the book next to her fell to the ground. Dongya walked over and put the book back on the shelf with a very considerate look, then said, "What's here?"

Ouyang pulled out his phone, typed something, and groped his way up to the second floor. He followed her, continuing to survey his surroundings. He soon realized that the bookstore was in a great location, but aside from the two of them, there seemed to be no one else there. The second floor offered seating, a few sofas, some books to browse, and a bar. A variety of drinks were listed above the bar.

"Miss!" The waiter standing at the bar saw this, "Miss, you can sit on your right."

"Thanks!" she said. "I need a cup of coffee."

"Okay." The clerk was busy making coffee and didn't notice her walking over.

But when Dongya saw her, she took off her sunglasses, walked over and sat on the sofa. The clerk didn't notice at all.

"Sir!" the clerk asked Dong Ya who came up from behind, "Excuse me, what can I do for you?"

"A cup of green tea."

"Okay," the waiter said, but this time he wasn't busy making tea. Instead, he came out and took him to a seat near a bookshelf. He recommended a few good books before returning to the bar. This puzzled him. Why did this person treat the blind so differently from sighted people? Was he the one who couldn't see?
