Hoarding and Rebirth, the Delicate Educated Youth is Spoiled by the Rough Soldier in the 70s

Previous life, Jiang Ning's whole family were cannon fodder in a novel about the protagonists' rise to fame and success, living as a contrasting background to them. Under the crushing press...

Chapter 213 What is that sticky, white stuff?

At 6:30, the alarm rang. Lin Chen kissed Jiang Ning's forehead and got out of bed.

Jiang Ning woke up, stretched, accepted the barrage of good morning kisses from Jiao Jiao and Tong Tong, and got up with a smile.

Today is Lin Chen's assessment day, and Jiang Ning specially chose a rather old-fashioned jacket for him.

Even though the slightly old-fashioned coat was worn by him, it couldn't hide his vibrant and handsome face; it just made him look a little more composed.

"Do your best today, and I'll discuss something with you when we get home tonight."

Jiang Ning said to him as she helped Jiao Jiao braid her hair.

"What good news? It's so mysterious."

Lin Chen came over and pinched her cheek.

Anyway, whenever I see her, I can't help but touch her inappropriately. In front of the children, I can't touch anywhere else, so I can only pinch her face.

"We'll find out when the time comes," Jiang Ning squeezed out a sentence from her distorted mouth.

After quickly finishing his meal, Lin Chen grabbed his backpack, hopped on his motorcycle, and hurried off to the design institute.

Jiang Ning also urged the two children to finish their meal quickly and then took them to school.

Now, her daily life is like a wound-up toy, as if controlled by an invisible hand.

Although this life is simple and happy, she always feels like she's being pushed around by life.

When she entered the office, she glanced at her watch; it was exactly eight o'clock.

Lisa walked to her desk and tapped on the surface to remind her.

“Jiang Ning, please arrive at work earlier next time. Jack is already here, and you, an intern, are still not here. Is this acceptable? Be careful that the boss doesn’t say anything bad about your internship evaluation.”

Seeing Lisa's poker face and her sharp words, she finally realized where the problem lay.

She's already lived a second life, why should she need to care about other people's opinions?

Jiang Ning decided not to argue with her for the time being, and reminded her with a smile that if she continued to pester her, she would miss the time to pour coffee for Jack.

Lisa then hurriedly went into Jack's room and closed the door behind her.

Jiang Ning was speechless. This Lisa was quite capable; she had successfully persuaded Jack to cancel the bonus that was supposed to be paid out this month.

For more than a month, all she could think about was designing clothes that would satisfy customers, then handing them over to the garment factory to make samples, and finally, once the customers approved, starting production.

She and Xu Yan went to the garment factory no less than ten times, and she even helped them choose fabrics and patterns.

I thought I would get a bonus this month, just like usual.

As a result, Jack canceled all bonuses, citing that the payment for the goods had not been fully received.

Previously, Jack would allow her to sit in on important client meetings and learn from them, but now that's not allowed anymore, because they're afraid of leaking core secrets.

In fact, the so-called core secret of foreign trade companies is their customers. They can only do business by going out and finding customers themselves.

Jack's clients are all referred by existing customers.

Lisa whispered in his ear that if these clients' information fell into their hands, the company would lose all its clients.

Jiang Ning didn't care about the money; she just felt that her hard work deserved respect.

With that in mind, she took the documents and prepared to confront Jack.

As soon as I arrived at the door, I heard ambiguous breathing coming from inside.

She was all too familiar with that sound; she couldn't help but let it out every night when Lin Chen pampered her.

However, Lisa was being too exaggerated, as if she was afraid others wouldn't know, and she shouted very loudly.

"Knock knock knock~" She deliberately knocked on the door very loudly.

There was a rustling sound of clothes being put on inside, and it took Lisa quite a while to open the door.

"Jack and I were discussing how to entertain our clients later. Are you out of your mind? Why are you bothering us?"

Jiang Ning smiled:

"Excuse me, I'd like to talk to Jack about this business deal."

Lisa stood in the doorway, arms crossed, a fake smile on her face:

"Regarding the business, Jack has already said that this business will be transferred to Zhao Chunlan's name before your internship ends, and you shouldn't be involved anymore."

Jiang Ning suddenly remembered that a few days ago, Zhao Chunlan had secretly slipped a gold necklace into Lisa's hand, probably because she had already bribed her.

She then sold her body to Jack; this well-established business naturally ended up in the hands of her own people.

Jiang Ning took a step back and left with a smile.

With her as a person, we can cut off her source of income!

Back in her seat, her face immediately fell.

Xu Yan witnessed Jiang Ning being sent back by Lisa and said indignantly:

"You did such a perfect job on the order, so why are they getting all the credit? I'm so angry with them!"

Jiang Ning raised an eyebrow:

"Sister Xu, why don't we go it alone?"

Xu Yan hesitated for a second:

“Ningning, you really dare to think big. In our line of work, the most important thing is the client. Jack keeps his important clients so tightly under wraps that we have no way to contact them.”

Jiang Ning pouted, "It's not that difficult, is it? If I were to open a foreign trade company, you'd have to come and help me."

Xu Yan smiled and said, "Okay, then I'll be waiting for your good news."

She assumed Jiang Ning was joking.

After Jiang Ning finished speaking, she went to the restroom, entered the space, and arrived at Jack's office.

Soon, Lisa brought a group of clients into his office for a meeting.

Meetings and documents that were originally kept secret from them were completely transparent to her.

She wrote down the information of these clients one by one.

Surprisingly, Jack had done a lot of work, noting down the ages, family situations, and preferences of these people in his notebook.

When negotiating with them, I can always find common ground with them.
