"Hehe," Quan couldn't help but laugh out loud. Before Su You could react, he turned his head away, pretending nothing had happened, his heart pounding: He's so cute, how can he be so cute! Fortunately, the big star Quan has a strong sense of image, so even though his heart was exploding like fireworks, his face remained as steady as an old dog.
After taking a deep breath, Su You finally realized what she had done. Her face instantly turned bright red. Pretending to be calm, she turned her head to look out the window, internally pounding herself with anger, "How could you be so stupid?! Su You!!! What have you done?! Your image is completely ruined!!! What should I do, what should I do to save you—my image!!!" Lost in her internal rage, Su You didn't notice her fingers unconsciously twirling in circles. Meanwhile, the "older man" who had noticed pretended not to see anything, focusing on driving, though a slight, involuntary smile played on his lips.
An awkward yet ambiguous atmosphere filled the car. Because of this awkwardness, the two seemed to become more familiar and relaxed. After a while, Kwon Ji-yong, looking straight ahead, said softly, "Su You-xi, look at the back seat. I brought you a small gift." Su You turned her head curiously, first glancing at the person concentrating on driving, her gaze pausing slightly before turning to the back seat. There was a navy blue gift box there, somewhat resembling a jewelry box. "May I open it?" Su You asked softly. "Of course! Open it and see. If the size isn't right, I can easily alter it," Kwon Ji-yong said casually, inadvertently revealing that he had made the gift himself. (Truly a master of flirting!) 'Made by myself…' Something seemed to skip a beat in Su You's heart; a fleeting flutter crossed her soul.
Su You carefully opened the box, afraid of damaging its contents. By the time she finished, she felt as if she had broken out in a sweat. Thankfully, it was finally open. Inside was a bracelet, quite unique, a silver bracelet adorned with a small daisy missing a petal. Simple yet beautiful. It was Su You's style. Quan Zhilong watched Su You examine the bracelet closely, feeling a little apprehensive. Although it wasn't his first time making bracelets—his previous creations had been well-received by friends—a bracelet for Su You always felt special. While making this one, he had Su You's image constantly on his mind, so he simply followed his heart, resulting in this daisy bracelet. He imagined it would suit Su You perfectly. He was very confident in his craftsmanship, but he didn't know if she would like it. Just as Quan Zhilong was feeling uneasy and unconsciously gripped the steering wheel, he caught a glimpse of Su You carefully slipping the bracelet onto her slender wrist. A touch of silver against her slender, snow-white wrist was like a daisy quietly blooming in a garden at dawn—fresh, serene, and incredibly comforting.
"It's beautiful, thank you," Su You said to Kwon Ji-yong with a smile, dangling the bracelet on her wrist. It was clear she was very happy to receive a gift she liked. "I'm glad you like it. I was a bit rushed this time, I'll get you an even prettier one next time," Kwon Ji-yong said smugly, pleased with the compliment. (Author's note: Doesn't he realize there might be a next time they meet? Maybe the author will just play the 'lovable mother' and cut off his love interest' moment.) Su You smiled at his words, 'There probably won't be a next time they meet! After all, this has already been a wonderful journey.' The thought of never seeing each other again, and possibly returning to endlessly scrolling through videos, made Su You feel a pang of sadness. She didn't dwell on the reason for this sadness, but quickly composed herself and began chatting with Kwon Ji-yong about perfumes she was recently interested in...
They discovered during their conversation that they shared many similar interests and hobbies, from fashion choices to perfume preferences. Aside from their gender, they were practically identical. They chatted animatedly all the way to their destination – a secluded, deserted, upscale, and expensive café-cinema owned by Quan's friend.
