G-Dragon's five-cent mouth

G-Dragon's five-cent mouth

The next morning, Su You woke up to a continuous vibration.

Last night, the two of them drank quite a bit because they were too excited. Now, the dizziness from the hangover was washing over her temples like a tide. With her eyes closed and her brows furrowed, she subconsciously reached out and groped for something on the bedside table. Her fingertips didn't touch the cold wooden surface of the table, but rather warm skin.

She suddenly opened her eyes and met a pair of smiling, bright eyes.

G-Dragon lay on his side beside her, one hand supporting his head, the other holding her phone. The phone screen flickered wildly like a firefly struggling for its last breath, its buzzing vibration incessant.

"Awake?" His voice was hoarse from the early morning and tinged with barely concealed smugness. "My dear fiancée."

Hearing his cheesy way of addressing her, Su You inwardly rubbed her forehead, but ultimately couldn't escape it... and asked helplessly, "My phone... what's wrong?"

G-Dragon turned the screen towards her; it was filled with countless unread messages and missed calls, almost overflowing the screen. The red numbers on the social media icons had turned into terrifying three-digit numbers she had never seen before.

"It's nothing," G-Dragon said casually, as if he were just saying the weather was nice today. "I just shared some good news with everyone."

Su You instantly sobered up considerably, snatched the phone, unlocked it, and opened the first chat window that popped up—her best friend's.

"Youyou!!! You're really marrying GD?! Oh my god! Congratulations!" This was followed by a series of screams and fireworks emojis.

When I opened the group chat again, there were already 99+ messages. Mutual friends expressed their shock and blessings with various excited voice messages and exclamation marks.

Su You's fingers felt a little cold. She looked up at the man in front of her, his smile radiant, as if he had just saved the world. His face clearly said, "Praise me, aren't I amazing?"

"Quan, Zhi, Long!" Su You said, enunciating each word clearly, her voice languid from just waking up, but filled with disbelief. "You... how many people did you tell?"

"Hmm..." G-Dragon tilted his head, counted carefully, and then gave up. "Not many, just family groups, member groups, a few close friends and relatives groups... Oh, and I also had a video call with Seung-hyun hyung. He was so excited, it was like he was the one proposing."

Su You held her forehead, feeling her blood pressure steadily rising. She imagined Dong Young-bae's gentle yet knowing smile, imagined Choi Seung-hyun's (TOP) exaggerated gasp on the other end of the video call, imagined the uproar among her family and friends...

"You..." She took a deep breath, trying to find her voice, "Couldn't you have waited until I woke up and discussed it with me first?"

"I can't wait," Kwon Ji-yong leaned closer, like a spoiled big cat, rubbing his nose against her cheek, his tone both aggrieved and self-righteous, "I'm so happy, Su You. I'm so happy I want the whole world to know that you finally agreed to marry me."

His famous "G-Dragon" eyes, now devoid of the domineering and sharp aura of the stage, were filled only with pure, almost overflowing joy and sincerity.

Looking at him like this, Su You's anger at being "acted on first and informed later" vanished like a balloon punctured by a needle, leaving only a soft, helpless feeling.

She remembered last night, how he awkwardly took out the ring, so nervous he stammered, the floor lamp's light shining brightly on his slightly reddened eyes. That superstar who commanded the entire audience at a concert for thousands was, in her eyes, just an ordinary man afraid of rejection.

"You..." she sighed, and in a fit of anger, she reached out and pinched his wonderfully smooth cheek into a wide-mouthed frog shape. "Your mouth is really only worth five cents, no more than that."

G-Dragon took her hand and kissed it, his eyes curving into beautiful crescents: "Hehehe..."

Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains, dancing on his hair. The phone continued to vibrate incessantly, like a noisy yet lively symphony of blessings.

Looking at the man before her, who was as happy as a child because of her simple "I do," Su You felt the last trace of helplessness in her heart melt into warmth. Resigned, she picked up her phone and began replying to the flood of well wishes one by one.

Okay, so be it. At least they didn't announce it to the world on Instagram. What can you do with the man you chose? Spoil him, of course.

Her fingertips danced across the screen, but the corners of her mouth involuntarily turned up high.
