Pan-fried

Completely bewitched by Iye, Su You ignored the amazement in Kwon Ji-yong's eyes and the fleeting glint of malice. "Looks like I should pick this little grapefruit, otherwise she'll attract too much attention." Thinking about Su You's return to China in a few days, Kwon Ji-yong's eyes darkened further. The distance between them wasn't easily bridged. This little grapefruit was a soon-to-be university student. Thinking about the fresh, lively, handsome, cute, talented, and all sorts of other young men on campus after the semester started, Kwon Ji-yong couldn't help but worry. Even though he was confident Su You liked him, without any official status, he feared she'd be blinded by those other beauties after starting school. This pretty little grapefruit had to be his. Having made up his mind, Kwon Ji-yong's lips curled into a smile.

"Little Yuzu, how about we have steak today? A friend gave me some steak, and Oppa's steak-frying skills are pretty good!"

G-Dragon looked at Su You, who was still intently petting the cat, and said that it wasn't that he didn't want to appreciate the beauty, but seeing how captivated Su You was by this little vixen, Iye, he figured if he didn't say anything, Su You would just keep playing with Iye forever.

"Oh, okay, that's fine with me. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Su You didn't put down iye, but instead gave iye a massage while looking up to answer Kwon Ji-yong's question.

"Hmm, let me think..." G-Dragon stroked his chin, "Pretty little Yuzu, all you have to do is take Iye to play in the living room! Get ready for Oppa to show you his skills!"

Kwon Ji-yong's sudden praise made Su You blush slightly. "Hehe, then I'll wait for Oppa to cook me something delicious!" Pretending to be calm, Su You picked up Iye and headed for the living room. Little did anyone know that behind her, the stunningly beautiful Su You was actually grinning and grimacing, wanting to strangle her own pathetic self. "It's just a compliment! Why are you so excited?! Why are you blushing?! Su You, you're a worldly girl now, you need to learn to be calm!!"

Kwon Ji-yong chuckled softly, watching Su You's awkward back, making sure she didn't notice, or she'd get angry. Seeing Su You sit down in the living room with Iye in her arms, playing with the cat, Kwon Ji-yong turned and went to the kitchen. He took the steak out of the zip-lock bag, patted it dry with kitchen paper, and lightly seasoned it with sea salt and pepper. He heated a frying pan over medium heat, then placed the steak upright to render the fat. He added lightly crushed garlic cloves and rosemary to both sides of the steak. Then he laid the steak down and seared it over high heat. After 2 minutes, he flipped the steak and seared it for another 2 minutes, adding a few small pieces of butter in between. The butter was to enhance the steak's aroma and give it a golden-brown color. After removing the steak, he let it rest on a cooked food cutting board for 5 minutes. During this resting time, Kwon Ji-yong also prepared a salad and red wine.

Once everything was ready and the tableware was set, G-Dragon called out to Su You, "Little Youzi, come and eat!" Because G-Dragon's house has an open kitchen, Su You had actually been secretly watching him cook the steak. It has to be said, men who can cook are really handsome. G-Dragon in the kitchen is somewhat different from his everyday self and his stage persona. He seems to have less of that aloofness and loneliness, and is more down-to-earth and warmer.

"Here you are!" Gently putting down the cat toy, Su You petted iye and turned to walk towards the dining table. "Wow! It looks so delicious! Oppa is so amazing!" The steak on the white plate was carefully cut into convenient strips. Perhaps because of the butter, it smelled very fragrant. Garlic cloves and rosemary were garnished around the steak, making it look so good that it was almost too beautiful to eat.

G-Dragon walked over, gentlemanly pulled out a chair for Su You, and poured her some red wine. "Come and try it, see how it tastes." Then he returned to his seat and sat down, looking at Su You with some anticipation.

Under G-Dragon's expectant gaze, Su You forked a piece of steak and put it in her mouth. As soon as the steak entered her mouth and she chewed gently, her eyes widened. "Mmm! Delicious! Oppa, awesome!" Su You gave a thumbs-up, praising him. G-Dragon smiled at Su You's adorable expression. Then he gestured for her to raise her glass, "To the delicious steak, cheers!"
