An unconventional synopsis:
Shen He: A well-known amateur player, specializes in ADC, and is forced to play professionally.
Unexpectedly, on his first day, he faces the most arrogant ...
Make you happy
Upon entering the canyon, the third wave of minions had just converged.
Chen Yuchuan was already squatting in the riverbed grass, slowly saying in his voice:
"You lean forward a little, and I'll squat back."
"You think the other side is stupid?"
Don't overestimate them.
Shen He remained silent, only adjusting his position. As expected, the enemy jungler was trapped and killed by Chen Yuchuan's skill trap as soon as he left the jungle, securing the first kill.
"How was that?" Chen Yuchuan's laughter came through the earpiece, tinged with a hint of boasting.
Shen He retorted, "Isn't this standard procedure?"
Chen Yuchuan laughed inexplicably to himself, then marked another spot on the map, saying, "I'll wait a little longer; I still have some skills left."
Shen He didn't speak. After a while, he tentatively cast a control spell. Chen Yuchuan seemed to have a natural rapport with him, his skills following up perfectly and the combo was incredibly precise, eliminating the opponent.
A kill notification flashed on the screen.
"Enter the blue zone." Shen He spoke immediately, his voice calm but leaving no room for doubt.
Chen Yuchuan followed him into the jungle, mimicking his tone: "Into the blue buff area."
After a two-second silence, Shen He whispered, "Don't bother me."
Chen Yuchuan's smile deepened: "Is this because I'm annoyed with you? This is because I'm playing along with you."
Shenhe ignored him and continued clearing the enemy's buffs on his own.
Chen Yuchuan tactfully gave up the buff: "Look how much I spoil you, bro."
Shen He couldn't help but chuckle, then coldly said, "...Shut up."
From the subtle relaxation in his tone, Chen Yuchuan sensed that his mood was slowly improving, so he ran towards the middle lane even more recklessly.
On the surface it looks like you're pushing the lane, but in reality you're just manipulating the character to dance behind Shen He.
As Shen He was clearing the minions, Chen Yuchuan's arrogant and sarcastic line suddenly came through his earpiece: "These minions all call me daddy, you believe it or not?"
"Aren't you bored?" Shen He stated.
Chen Yuchuan said seriously, "This is tactical deterrence."
The moment the words left his mouth, the two were caught off guard by the opposing support who had been lying in wait. Shenhe used his mobility to create distance, and Chen Yuchuan took the crucial crowd control for him before fleeing in panic.
Shen He smiled but didn't go to save him. Instead, he turned around and cleared Chen Yuchuan's jungle. Sure enough, less than a minute later, Chen Yuchuan, having replenished his health, came back to steal the minion wave, sending taunting emoticons as he did so.
"Can you go farm some jungle monsters?" Shen He asked.
“No, your thread smells better.” Chen Yuchuan said matter-of-factly.
Shenhe didn't bother to argue: "...Do whatever you want." He turned around and went to eat in the other side of the jungle.
The two players' rhythm became increasingly erratic. They were relatively stable at the beginning, but became more and more reckless in the later stages. Chenhe tried to use Flash to cut into the backline several times, but his damage was just a little lacking, and he was eventually controlled and focused down.
[Can you please go to the training ground if you're practicing new heroes in the mid lane? Stop feeding, okay?]
A teammate's message popped up out of nowhere, carrying a hint of hostility.
The next second, Chen Yuchuan's words followed.
[Stop barking like a dog. Can't you even lie down properly? Shut up.]
The conflict erupted in just a few seconds.
...
Chen Yuchuan's insults grew increasingly vulgar. Shen He, resurrected, emerged from the spring and, seeing his determined expression as if he were determined to fight that person to the death, tapped the mouse with his fingertips, a slight smile curving his eyes.
"Just block him. Why bother with him?"
Chen Yuchuan snorted coldly on the other end of the earpiece: "Fine, I'll listen to you. I won't waste my breath on him."
Shen He said calmly, "How come you still have such a bad temper after all these years?"
The tone was flat, but there was a subtle hint of laughter hidden in the last syllable.
There was a two-second silence on the other end. Chen Yuchuan seemed to have sensed something, his breath hitched, but he didn't press for details. He simply said casually, "If I can't stand someone, I'll curse them if I want to."
Shen He pressed his temples, seemingly losing patience: "Fine, fine, you're amazing." His tone carried a hint of disdain.
Chen Yuchuan, however, was quite pleased and immediately seized the opportunity: "You know I only act like this with outsiders. You haven't forgotten how I treated you before, have you?"
There was a hint of ambiguity in his words, but Shen He didn't want to pay attention. Instead, he retorted, "Have fun. I don't want to lose this round."
The situation is indeed not good. Teammates are losing points one after another, the minion wave is pushing up to the high ground, and some people are constantly initiating surrender attempts.
Shenhe's assassin role diminishes significantly in the late game, but thankfully he has a small AoE skill that allows him to clear minions and defend towers. Chen Yuchuan, after securing key resources in the top lane, immediately rushed to the jungle to gank the enemy marksman, returned to base to replenish supplies, and then went to the bottom lane to manage the minion wave. He also had to clean up the mess left by his teammates who had engaged in a team fight, constantly complaining, "A bunch of idiots." Because Shenhe was present, he dared not curse too harshly, but his hands never stopped moving, showing a willingness to risk his life for Shenhe's insistence on not losing. Fortunately, he managed to turn the tide of the game.
Several crucial kills turned the tide and successfully completed the comeback, and the MVP was unsurprisingly awarded to Chen Yuchuan.
Chen Yuchuan was taking credit: "Give me your opinion on the MVP jungler of this game."
Shen He mimicked his tone in the post-match interview: "It was so-so, pretty normal."
Chen Yuchuan chuckled in the earphone, "Are you questioning the skill level of a world-class champion jungler?"
Shenhe casually replied, "Oh, the world's number one jungler is awesome."
He spoke as if he were coaxing a dog, but Chen Yuchuan had always been like this; he wouldn't be satisfied until he got a nice word out of him.
Back in the team room, Chen Yuchuan started pestering him again: "Play two more rounds? I don't believe you haven't had enough fun."
After waiting a few seconds without hearing a reply, he added, "If you really don't want to fight, just tell me. I'll kneel down and beg you."
Chen He remained silent, and the mouse paused for two seconds.
I find this person really annoying, yet also kind of funny.
Ultimately, it all came down to "beginning".
The game loaded, the lane selection screen lit up, and Shenhe immediately pre-selected Wind String Hunter.
Chen Yuchuan glanced at it and casually pre-selected a support role.
"You've brought out your best hero, so you need a support like me to protect you closely?" he said confidently in his voice.
The person on the other end of the public chat, however, sounded rather submissive.
[My stomach hurts so I can't jungle, support, please let me get a free game.]
[If all else fails, I'll just dodge it. My uncle's in labor, and my grandma's rushing to pick my mom up from school.]
[I really can't jungle, whoever jungles, I'll VIP them 5000 times.]
The teammates were amused:
[Dude, stop it. I just checked your stats, and it's all jungle MVP.]
[V5000? Screenshot as proof.]
Even so, we still gave him our spot.
Chen Yuchuan is still acting crazy:
[Everyone, please pay attention: when you enter the game, please focus on playing as the world's number one AD carry, my brother Styx. Make sure he has a comfortable game and enjoys winning.]
Shen He glanced at the screen out of the corner of his eye, his fingertips paused, as if he had thought of something, and without saying anything, locked [Wind String Hunter], tacitly acquiescing to his antics.
The bottom lane coordination was surprisingly smooth. Although Chen Yuchuan's details were not quite right, his skill coordination was pretty good. Shenhe's output was clean and crisp, and he kept getting kills.
Chen Yuchuan meticulously arranged and filled in the gaps in the field of vision, yet deliberately manipulated the characters to cause trouble next to him.
Shen He finally couldn't hold back any longer: "Can you stay away from me?"
"I'm just putting on a show to make you happy, isn't that good?"
Shen He continued working on his projectiles, his voice indifferent: "I'm not unhappy."
Chen Yuchuan didn't call him out: "Okay, you're not unhappy, but you know I've always hoped you'd be happier every day."
Shenhe glanced at the flowers the support character had planted around him and warned him, "Don't say such disgusting things again."
In reality, his tone became less distant, and his actions showed a more indifferent attitude. His original calmness turned into aggressiveness, and several times his squishy characters flashed into the crowd with a "live or die, fight first" mentality.
Chen Yuchuan saw all this but didn't expose him; he just went along with him, letting things escalate. He'd control what needed to be controlled, shield what needed to be shielded, and even kill what needed to be killed.
After several rounds, they themselves broke their initial lead.
The green lucky bag passed unanimously, and the settlement interface mercilessly displayed a failure message.
Chen Yuchuan stared at the screen for a long time before slowly speaking: "How about... we play another game? Our bottom lane teamwork is absolutely invincible, okay?" He paused, then added: "This game was too reckless, so it doesn't count."
Shen He coldly uttered three words: "You're so reckless."
Chen Yuchuan didn't argue: "Okay, okay, okay."
They played a few more games, some fast, some slow, but overall they won more than they lost. Chen Yuchuan seemed to have inexhaustible energy, working tirelessly in the game, providing vision, blocking skills, initiating team fights, and controlling the pace. When Shen He didn't want to talk in the team voice chat, Chen Yuchuan would sing and act silly, enthusiastically and tirelessly. He wouldn't stop until Shen He personally admitted that he was really having fun.
Closing the settlement panel, Shen He felt a slight discomfort in his eyes. Without a word, he clicked "Leave Room." A sudden, inexplicable relief washed over him, as if someone had finally gently released a string that had been stretched for too long.
The chat window kept flashing, but Shen He was too lazy to open it. Clearly, Chen Yuchuan was once again putting on his own show. He could tell it was intentional, a performance to amuse him, like a clumsy clown. Chen Yuchuan wasn't like that at all.
He didn't call him out on it. He couldn't say he liked it, but he wasn't annoyed either. He just felt that there was a little more sound in the blank world.
