[Sunshine, Energetic, Happy Little Tiger (younger) x Possessive, ...
Chapter 9 Green Sprouts knew from a young age that the young clan leader was destined for greatness.
Bai, carrying a mountain-like bundle, swept over the heads of the crowd.
People looked up at the sound and almost thought the package had come to life. Only upon closer inspection did they see the little white tiger being pressed under the package.
Bai untied the rattan binding her body and threw the bundle to Bai Shu, saying, "Mother, catch this. You guys get out of here first."
Before she finished speaking, she had already rushed into the rain of arrows, her delicate pink claws protecting her vitals.
She was small in stature, and she slipped through the gaps in the rain of arrows, with hardly any arrows grazing her.
The black-scaled dragon, which was in hot pursuit, was not so lucky. Its massive body swept across the sky, blocking almost all the arrows.
"Ding ding ding!"
A series of crisp metallic clanging sounds rang out as the arrows struck the black-scaled dragon's hard scales, sending sparks flying.
The black-scaled dragon roared in pain, its cold, vertical pupils fixed on the bearded group of men holding up their bows and arrows.
Its already raging fury erupted completely at this moment, and its thick, long tail swept out like an iron whip, crashing into the crowd with the sound of wind and thunder.
With a deafening roar, the earth and rocks crumbled, dust flew everywhere, and more than a dozen people were instantly turned into a cloud of blood mist before they could even let out a scream.
Severed limbs and bits of flesh flew everywhere, drenching the survivors.
"Ah...run!" The survivors were terrified and shoved each other as they fled.
The burly man with a thick beard was covered in blood. He wiped the bits of flesh off his face and roared, "Come back! Don't run away! This black-scaled dragon is extremely vengeful. You can't escape!"
Bai knew better than they did that there was no escape; the giant black snake had already chased her for over a hundred miles, and running away was pointless.
She had only caught a glimpse of her people covered in blood. How dare these people harm her mother and her people! She would fight the Black Scaled Dragon to the death.
She led the black-scaled dragon into the bearded man's camp.
The little white tiger was small in size but fast in speed; when it ran, people could only see a blurry white shadow.
The black-scaled dragon chased after her, crushing through the crowd. Though enormous, it was just as fast. Under the beast's oppressive power, most people's legs had gone limp, unable to avoid its charge. In an instant, dozens more were crushed into mincemeat.
The burly man with the thick beard understood that the black-scaled dragon was chasing after the tiger cub. He shouted, "Don't panic! The black-scaled dragon is chasing after the tiger cub!"
"Catch this little beast, and the Black Scaled Dragon will naturally follow it." As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly stretched out his fan-like hand to block Bai Ye's escape.
The men roared and pounced, their rough, large hands grabbing at them from all directions like iron clamps.
Bai gritted his teeth, kicked off the iron hand that had grabbed him, and used the force to leap into the air, his body instantly flying dozens of meters away.
Dust billowed in the air, and as the giant snake passed by, dirt and stones flew everywhere. The screams of men, the angry shouts of the bearded burly man, and the cries of pain from the black-scaled dragon being attacked were all mixed together.
The scene was in complete chaos.
The White Tiger Tribe members on the other side were dumbfounded. Was their young chieftain really this brave? Leading this fifth-tier ferocious beast, he had fought his way in and out of the enemy ranks seven times.
Bai Shu handed the package in his arms to the tribesman beside him and ordered, "Take the prey and retreat down the mountain."
"Clan leader..." Aunt Wu tightened her grip on the long knife, looking at Bai Ye fleeing among the enemy with some worry.
"Go down the mountain!" Bai Shu shouted sharply. "The Black Scaled Flood Dragon is watching A Ye right now. If it gets free to attack, we'll all die."
The members of the White Tiger tribe obeyed the order, picked up their prey, and ran down the mountain. The women of the Iron-Eating Beast tribe also followed suit.
Bai Shu was the only one left outside the arena. Her knuckles were clenched so tightly that they turned white, and her eyes were fixed on the white figure flashing in the crowd.
"I'm exhausted! Do you have any cheat codes? Give me one!" Bai said, panting heavily, his steps faltering.
No, you said you couldn't run anymore half an hour ago, but you're still running!
Believe in your potential! Your small body holds immense power. Go for it, Aya! Run faster!
Bai stuck out her tongue and rolled her eyes. "I don't believe you! In a crisis like this, can you please stop making sarcastic remarks?"
As soon as she finished speaking, her tail was tightly grasped by a large, fan-like hand.
"Hahaha, you little beast, caught you? Go feed the ferocious beasts!!!" The burly man with the thick beard shouted and swung his arm, throwing Bai Ye into the air.
In a dizzying moment, the black-scaled dragon's gaping maw rapidly enlarged before Bai Ye's eyes, and she could even see the black mud remaining on its fangs.
"Go to hell!" Bai Ye roared, his sharp claws springing out from the pink paw pads and grabbing the black-scaled dragon's scarlet tongue.
Using that small amount of force, she managed to turn her direction and adjust her body to crash hard into the black-scaled dragon's cold, vertical pupils.
The black-scaled dragon roared in pain, and Bai immediately made a move, slashing his sharp claws and hooking them into the gaps between the scales, hanging like a small pendant right under the black-scaled dragon's nose.
"Ahhh!!!" Bai Shu roared as she charged toward the black-scaled dragon, the scene just now nearly scaring her to death.
Bai heard his mother's voice, looked up at her, and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Mother, don't come any closer, I can handle this!"
A glint flashed in the eyes of the burly man with the thick beard, and with a wave of his hand, he signaled his men to seize Bai Shu.
Several burly men carrying long knives immediately surrounded Bai Shu.
"You bearded man, how dare you touch my mother!!!"
Bai, high in the sky, could see everything clearly below. She fiercely raised her claws and aimed for the scales on the black-scaled dragon's eyelids.
With a "sizzle," sparks flew everywhere, and the white and pink flesh was instantly turned into a bloody mess, but at least it caused some damage to the black-scaled dragon.
A piece of metallic scale was snatched off by Bai.
"roar!!"
The black-scaled dragon, in pain, twisted its body wildly, its massive form crushing dozens of people in its path like an armored chariot.
Bai also clung tightly to the black-scaled dragon's scales, hanging on its body like a captain leading the giant black snake through the crowd.
Nearly a hundred people died in the blink of an eye. The burly man with the thick beard was somewhat terrified. After all, high-level ferocious beasts like the Black Scaled Dragon were not something that ordinary people like them could fight against.
"Retreat...retreat quickly!" he shouted hoarsely, his roar drowned out by the black-scaled dragon's furious howl.
Smoke and dust billowed, and the cries of people echoed through the mountains and forests.
Seeing the bloody scene before him, Bai's throat tightened. Having transmigrated from civilized society, he had never seen such a scene of flying flesh and corpses scattered everywhere.
She could no longer feel the pain from the bloody, mangled wound on her palm.
He just stared blankly ahead.
Unbeknownst to Bai, a tender sprout gleaming with a crystalline green light quietly emerged from the bloody, mangled wound.
The tender bud had only two vibrant green leaves, peeking out like a curious child looking at everything around it. Then, it turned its head and slipped into the body of the black-scaled dragon through the gaps in its scales.
The black-scaled dragon's massive body suddenly froze. Then, it began to twist wildly, its enormous body crashing into towering ancient trees, breaking them one by one and collapsing small hills.
Bai was nearly thrown off several times; if she fell now, she would surely be crushed into a pile of minced meat. She gritted her teeth and clung tightly to the black-scaled dragon armor to steady herself.
Fortunately, the frenzy didn't last long. A few breaths later, the black-scaled dragon trembled violently as if it had been electrocuted, then crashed to the ground and fell silent.
The last thought of the Black Scaled Flood Dragon before its death was that it had dominated the outer edge of this desolate mountain for many years without ever encountering an opponent. How could it have lost its life chasing such a small creature?
Unfortunately, it didn't have a chance to figure it out!
Even in death, the aura of the ferocious beast T was still suffocating. A moment of silence fell over the arena; the survivors, clutching their heads, rose from the ground and quietly retreated.
Bai, panting heavily, let go of his grip and fell from the sky.
The expected pain of falling to the ground did not come; Bai Shu rushed over and caught her, holding her tightly in his arms.
"Mother, I'm fine, don't worry." Bai raised her little head and reassured her first.
"You brat, you scared your mother to death, you know?" Bai Shu said, picking up the injured paw to check it.
As soon as the claws were opened, a tender sprout swayed in the wind in the palm of the hand. The sprout was emerald green and emitted a shimmering green light.
At this moment, the green light flowed in his palm, and the bloody wound was healing rapidly at a speed visible to the naked eye.
After the wound was fully healed, the tender bud swayed gently, as if greeting Bai Ye, before turning into a burst of green light and disappearing.
"Wow!" Bai exclaimed in surprise, feeling a powerful surge of vitality enter his body. His fatigue receded like a tide, and his mind and body were restored to their most energetic state.
Bai Shu reached out and pinched her paw; the wound had indeed healed. Even with her extensive knowledge, she didn't recognize the green plant on Bai Ye's paw.
However, now is not the time for research; there are still problems to solve. Bai Shu, carrying Bai Ye in one arm and a long sword in the other, chased after the bearded group in the direction they had fled.
However, the other party scattered and fled. After chasing for a distance, Bai Shu only managed to catch one of them.
Bai Shu held the knife to the neck of the muscular man whose shirt was open, revealing his strong chest muscles, and demanded, "Tell me, which tribe are you from?"
The muscular man snorted, glanced at Bai Shu disdainfully, and said defiantly, "Kill me if you want. A real man stands tall..."
With a flash of light, a piece of flesh with fur and blood fell to the ground with a "thud".
"Aaaaah..." The muscular man let out a bloodcurdling scream like a pig being slaughtered.
Bai Shu casually held the dripping tip of his knife against the other, intact half of the muscular man's chest and demanded, "The other half is still there. Should I cut it all off for you?"
“I’ll talk, I’ll tell you everything.” The muscular man had lost his previous toughness and cried out with tears streaming down his face, “Ah... take the knife away, we are from the Jackal Tribe.”
Upon hearing the name, a hint of disgust flashed in Bai Shu's eyes. She hugged Bai Ye's little head, pressed her into her arms, and slashed down with her long sword without hesitation.
The muscular man only managed to let out a short cry before falling silent.
Bai's ears twitched slightly as he heard the "gurgling" sound of the object rolling.
"Mother...?"
Bai Shu gently stroked her head and said softly, "You're dirty, don't look."
Bai wanted to say that she had already seen a lot. However, when she met her mother's concerned gaze, she kept quiet.
The mother and daughter returned the way they came and found the corpse of the black-scaled dragon. The entire black-scaled dragon was a treasure; it couldn't be left here to waste.
Bai Shu grabbed the black-scaled dragon's giant tail, but was unable to drag its mountain-like body for a moment.
"Mother, let me help you." Bai also jumped down from her arms and reached out his claws to hook onto the scales of the black-scaled dragon.
After some effort, the mother and daughter finally managed to drag the black-scaled dragon down the mountain.
They hadn't gone far when they ran into the hunting party that had come back to find them. With their help, they were able to descend the mountain much faster.
The group returned safely to the tribe in the afterglow of the setting sun.
The moment the group appeared in the tribe, the air seemed to freeze for a second when the elders saw that they were covered in blood.
"You bunch of kids are too reckless! How dare you provoke this ferocious beast?" An elderly man with white hair stepped forward, his eyes filled with both reproach and worry.
Aunt Wu tugged at the old man's sleeve and explained, "Mother, this was hunted by the young clan leader."
The old man's expression changed instantly, the blame in his eyes turning into praise: "Young clan leader, you hunted well! You hunted well!!"
“I could tell that the young chieftain was extraordinary when she first came to the tribe.”
"Who says otherwise! When the young clan leader was little, he could eat a piece of dried meat in one bite. He could eat much more than other kids. I've known since he was a child that the young clan leader would amount to something."
The elders' praises rose and fell.
Bai was a little embarrassed by the grandmothers' praise, but luckily her face was covered in hair, so no one could tell she was blushing.
As they spoke, the group walked to the open space of the drying ground. Everyone gathered around the black-scaled dragon, holding knives, axes, and other tools, and began to chop and hack at their prey.
The tribe's shaman arrived at the threshing ground and treated the wounded people.
Bai Shu then carried Bai Ye back to her own courtyard, washed the baby clean with water, and then carried her back into the house.
The mother and daughter sat facing each other. Bai Shu rested her chin on one hand and looked down at the little white tiger sitting obediently on the stool.
"Tap tap tap!" Bai Shu's slender knuckles tapped lightly on the table.
Bai's little ears twitched slightly, but she didn't dare to look up.
"Young clan leader, can you tell me how you managed to stay at home so obediently that you were chased all over the mountain by that fifth-tier black-scaled dragon?"

[Milk tea][Milk tea][Milk tea] The romance in this book progressed rather slowly in the early stages, and the author was quite anxious while writing it. Hope you guys won't abandon me!? No way! No way!?
