Apocalypse | Stockpiling | Supernatural Powers | Killing Zombies | Fighting Survivors
Congratulations to me for receiving the Apocalypse Lucky Person package, complete with an arbitrary door ...
Back home, the three of us immediately collapsed onto the sofa. To save on Ji Lin'an's treasure chest uses, we used them to exchange for some necessities. After sleeping on the floor all night, we were all sore and aching. Ji Lin'an turned his phone to silent and turned on the surveillance playback. He looked up and gestured for me to speak. I nodded, cleared my throat, and raised my voice: "I said let's kill that lucky guy, but you insisted on forming an alliance."
After I finished speaking, I looked at Thousand-Mile Eyes and gestured for him to continue. Thousand-Mile Eyes immediately understood: "Isn't it good to have another person protecting you? His shelter looks pretty good to me. Anyway, we've already discussed it with him and agreed to move there."
As Ji Lin'an watched the surveillance footage, he took notes on the locations where the mysterious organization had installed the surveillance cameras and listening devices. He looked up at the Thousand-Mile Eyes and, after finishing speaking, pointed to himself and said, "Yeah, let's get some sleep tonight and pack our things tomorrow. That lucky guy's skills are pretty impressive. It would be a good thing if we could use them. He said he knows the locations of the other lucky guys. We'll meet up with him tomorrow and then go look for them together."
After Ji Lin'an finished speaking, he pointed at me and then made a sleeping gesture. I nodded and replied, "Okay, then I'll go to sleep first, and then go find them when I wake up."
After I finished speaking, Ji Lin'an gestured and mouthed for us to go wash up. Qianliyan and I nodded and went back to our room to wash up. After washing up, I lay on the bed, and Ji Lin'an turned off the light and got into bed too. *Smack* In the dark, I couldn't see Ji Lin'an clearly, but I felt a kiss on my lips. The next second, there was someone on top of me. Ji Lin'an kissed my ear, and I giggled softly because it tickled. I used my hand to press Ji Lin'an's head down and whispered in his ear, "There's a bug, huh? Are you trying to broadcast this live?"
Ji Lin'an leaned close to my ear and said, "Isn't this more realistic? It's easier for them to become suspicious if we don't say or do anything."
I instantly understood what Ji Lin'an meant, but I really couldn't do a live broadcast like this. I hugged Ji Lin'an and kissed him, then said in a coquettish tone, "Baby, I'm so tired today, let's go to sleep."
In the darkness, his vision returned somewhat, and he could vaguely see Ji Lin'an smiling. He suddenly said, "But I'm not tired."
After saying that, Ji Lin'an gave me another passionate kiss. My body gradually went limp, and I instantly forgot about the listening device. I wrapped my arms around Ji Lin'an's neck, and just as I was thinking about what would happen next, Ji Lin'an rolled over and lay down, saying with a smile, "Since you're tired, baby, go to sleep."
My hands were still in mid-air, frozen in place, my expression completely stiff. That Ji Lin'an! He's up to no good! I stubbornly rolled over and climbed onto Ji Lin'an, whispering in his ear, "Weren't you not tired?!"
Ji Lin'an chuckled softly, "You really want to do a live broadcast? If you allow it, I can skip the tiring part."
I instantly lost interest, angrily rolled over and lay down, saying loudly with a hint of rage, "Go to sleep!"
Ji Lin'an reached out and pulled me into his arms without saying a word. He took his other hand from under the pillow, held his phone to my face, opened it, and entered our group chat with the "Thousand-Mile Eyes" (a group of people using surveillance cameras). He typed: "The surveillance footage confirms that they placed the tracking items..."
Ji Lin'an typed out a series of item names. The phone was so close to my face that my eyes were blurry, and I shifted uncomfortably. Ji Lin'an seemed to sense my discomfort and switched the phone to the hand that wasn't holding me, continuing to type with one hand: "Eat breakfast normally when you wake up tomorrow. After breakfast, have Qianliyan help Susu put the vegetables and fruits from the orchard into your space. You all bring all the items, whether you're sure they contain trackers or not, to the living room for me to handle. After you're done, go back to your rooms and wait for my instructions before we act."
I was already asleep when Ji Lin'an sent the second message. I saw the message the next morning. When I woke up, Ji Lin'an was no longer by my side. I got up to go to the toilet. I was originally relieving myself without any restraint when I suddenly remembered that there was a bug. Although I was not sure if it could hear me, I still subconsciously controlled the volume of my toilet urination.
After washing up and going downstairs, breakfast was already prepared. Seeing me come down, Ji Lin'an turned around and took out the milk that had been warming in hot water. Qianliyan also lazily walked out of his room and sat down at the table. The three of us exchanged glances, and Ji Lin'an spoke first: "After you finish eating, hurry up and pack your things so we can meet up with our new friends before lunch."
Thousand-Mile Eye and I nodded in agreement, quickly shoveling down our instant porridge, pretending to chat about random things to get through the breakfast time.
After breakfast, we each tidied up our assigned areas. Once finished, the three of us went upstairs together to move the vegetables and fruits from the balcony to our mobile space. We did a final check of our packed luggage before setting off. Clairvoyance had already found an abandoned factory. Before the zombie outbreak, this abandoned factory had been rented by various wedding companies for weddings. At the time of the outbreak, there were several couples preparing for their weddings there. Now, the factory was overrun with zombies. We found one of the factory rooms with fewer zombies and teleported there. After dropping off our luggage with the tracker, Clairvoyance said in a hoarse voice, "You've finally arrived."
This sentence came out of nowhere. Perhaps Qianliyan and Ji Lin'an had discussed it while I was away. To be honest, it was completely different from Qianliyan's usual voice. You could tell from his usual way of speaking that he was a young man in his early twenties. But when he lowered his voice, he really sounded like a mature man in his thirties or forties, even without looking at his appearance.
The all-seeing man continued in a low voice, "Put your luggage here first, and I'll show you around."
After saying that, Ji Lin'an took out his phone and turned on the villa's surveillance camera. After confirming that no one was around, he pulled me up and whispered in my ear, "Let's go, Su Su."
