Congratulations to me for receiving the Apocalypse Lucky Person package, complete with an arbitrary door ...
After my wounds were barely treated, Ji Lin'an returned with a few people. Because of the commotion I caused, everyone got up and waited cautiously inside the house. Ji Lin'an looked serious and shook his head after seeing me: "We didn't find anyone suspicious."
The Thousand-Mile Eye said with a face full of resentment: "Let me use my skill to see. Even if this bastard used the Hidden Fruit, it should be ineffective by now."
Before Ji Lin'an could stop him, Thousand-Mile Eyes had already activated his skill. I glanced nervously at everyone's expressions. Ji Lin'an had just used his skill, and if Thousand-Mile Eyes used it again now, others might notice something amiss. But it seemed that no one was thinking in that direction, and their expressions remained unchanged.
After searching for a long time, the all-seeing eye only spotted a few lucky individuals resting in the trees about four or five kilometers away. There were no other lucky individuals. Ji Lin'an sighed, "It shouldn't be them. It would take them a while to walk here from there. The assassins could only be in this area."
I kept my face covered with gauze and cotton, but for some reason the bleeding wouldn't stop. For now, I could only temporarily stop the bleeding by plugging the wound. After thinking for a while, I said, "The person who injured me must have come prepared. Our large numbers made us easy to attract attention. Maybe they were hiding nearby, waiting for us all to fall asleep so they could ambush us. This person's archery skills are very accurate. If I hadn't been reading a novel and got so excited that I leaned back, you would be seeing my corpse right now."
Ji Lin'an walked up to me with an unusually grim expression: "Why is there so much blood?"
I took off the gauze and saw that the cotton ball wrapped inside was about the size of my palm and was completely soaked with blood. I smiled wryly and said, "It's okay, I'll just change the cotton ball."
Song Yi, who was standing nearby, was already worriedly preparing cotton for me, but Ji Lin'an reached out to stop her: "Su Su, you should just go into the space. There's no way to stop the bleeding from your wound. Maybe something was smeared on the arrow. The wound is quite deep. You'll need stitches."
Just as I was about to refuse, Qianliyan said, "Yes, Sister Su, if you don't go in soon, your pretty little face will be gone."
Wei Bin frowned: "If you have the skill to heal him, please do so quickly. Otherwise, I will feel guilty. I was supposed to be on night watch, but I overslept and that's why you are like this."
Seeing Wei Bin, a tough man, frowning and looking utterly dejected, everyone tried to persuade me to go in for the surgery. The medical space was incredibly useful; I'd originally intended to save it for life-threatening situations, but now I had no choice. In less than half an hour, the robot in the medical space had treated my wound, disinfected it, applied medicine, and stitched it up. By the time I left the space, the bleeding had completely stopped, and from a distance, you couldn't even tell I had a wound. The medical robot used transparent sutures, and the wound was stitched up perfectly. My mood improved considerably.
It was already dawn when they left the medical space, and everyone was wide awake. An Xin said, "Since everyone is wide awake, why don't we set off to collect the supplies? Staying here might lead to some more dangers."
Wufeng nodded: "I agree. We can have a good meal after receiving the supplies."
After everyone agreed, we set off directly for the supply center. This time the road was much smoother than before. We didn't encounter any lucky people or zombies along the way. After emerging from the woods, we saw another row of wooden houses, with a square house in the center.
Unsure if anyone was in the nearby cabins, we followed the path between the two cabins to the supply center. The supply center was roughly square, with walls on two sides and no walls on the other two. We went directly to the center, where there was a square iron floor. On the three sides of the square were three circles, one on each side, and a screen stood in front of each circle. Ji Lin'an walked over to examine it; the screen displayed:
Lucky winners, please stand inside the circle to activate the supplies.
Ji Lin'an stood directly in the circle in the middle of the screen, while the rest of us stood on the three sides of the square. After we were in position, the red light around the black iron ground in the middle lit up. After the red light flashed three times, the circles under our feet lit up in turn. After all the circles under our feet lit up, the square turned green.
Ji Lin'an looked at the screen, then looked up after a few seconds and said, "The supplies can be claimed once or ten times. Should we claim one first or all of them?"
Thousand-Mile Eye said, "Just take them all. It's not like we can always gather ten people. Anyway, Su Su has her own space, so we can just put them all in her space."
After I finished speaking, Ji Lin'an and I looked a little embarrassed. Qianliyan seemed to realize that he had said something wrong and immediately shut up and dared not say another word. An Xin smiled and said, "Let's take it all at once. As long as we are alive, we definitely don't want to switch teams."
Zhu Dachang nodded: "That's right, that's right, we're not switching anymore, we're sticking with you."
After everyone agreed, Ji Lin'an chose to receive 10 supplies. The square iron plate in the middle opened from the center to both sides, revealing dozens or even hundreds of cardboard boxes of various sizes that slowly rose up. Everyone couldn't help but show their surprise and delight. I also couldn't wait to open my phone and prepare to put the supplies into my space.
Just as the supplies reached the ground and stopped, a dozen or so people suddenly poured in from both sides of the supply center. Some were carrying guns, some were carrying crossbows, and the people at the front were carrying shields. Each of them was accompanied by a person with a long knife. One of the men shouted, "We only want supplies, we don't want to hurt people. If you know what's good for you, stand aside."
Li Song subconsciously stepped to the side, but when he saw that none of us moved, he pulled his foot back. I whispered to everyone, "Everyone move closer to me. Those without guns, stay behind us."
Everyone immediately obeyed and moved closer to me. Ji Lin'an and I were in charge of the front, while An Xin, Qianliyan, and Song Yi were in charge of the back. When the people came and saw that we were going to resist, the people in front raised their shields. The man who had just spoken continued to shout, "If you resist, we will have to kill you all. If you know what's good for you, you'd better step aside, or you'll only have death on your way out."
I glanced at Ji Lin'an, who turned to look at me. I nodded to him and shouted, "I also advise you to be sensible; you've taken the wrong person."
The man raised his hand: "Then don't blame us. Shoot!"
As soon as the man finished speaking, I activated the protective shield, covering all of us and our supplies...
