Chapter 300 Mysterious Skill

Chapter 300 Mysterious Skill

It’s like entering into the realm of God!

A mountain about 100 meters high and about the same size as Wolf Mountain appeared in front of me.

And at the bottom of this hill, there is a thatched house.

In front of the thatched house, there is three acres of land where vegetables are planted.

"Where is this?"

Fang Yi felt a little strange.

I clearly didn't feel like I had entered the realm of God.

Why did I end up in an environment that is extremely similar to the divine realm?

It was as if everything before my eyes was real, even more real than the divine realm.

Fang Yi walked forward calmly and soon arrived in front of the thatched hut.

There is a couplet on the old but clean wooden door of the thatched cottage:

Heaven and earth are selfless, and you will naturally be blessed if you do good.

The sages taught that by cultivating oneself one can bring order to one’s family.

Fang Yi understood the meaning of this passage.

As the saying goes: "The way of heaven and earth: broad, thick, high, bright, long and long."

Taoists believe that the so-called way of heaven and earth is nothing more than the law of nature and is without any emotion.

If you follow the Tao, you will achieve success; otherwise, nothing will go as you wish.

Laozi said in the Tao Te Ching: "The reason why heaven and earth can last long is that they do not produce themselves, so they can live forever. Therefore, the sage puts others behind him and yet his body comes first, puts others outside him and yet his body survives. Isn't it because he is selfless? Therefore, he can achieve his own goals."

Therefore, as long as you work diligently and follow the laws of nature, you will definitely be blessed.

Taoism also advocates that "if human nature is not cultivated, the way of heaven will be far away."

While cultivating oneself, one must not forget the family and social responsibilities that one should shoulder.

But on the other hand, if you improve your own virtues, family harmony will be a natural result.

This is the Taoist view.

Fang Yi could understand the meaning.

But what he didn't understand was why the banner had such confusing words written on it: "All things are like straw dogs."

"All things are like straw dogs" comes from Lao Tzu's "Tao Te Ching". The original words should be "Heaven and earth are not benevolent and treat all things as straw dogs."

The general meaning of this sentence is: Heaven and earth are not merciful, they have no benevolence, and treat all things like straw dogs, letting everything survive or perish on its own.

This is somewhat contrary to the meaning of the couplet.

Fang Yi really couldn't understand.

So he reached out and pushed the door.

Creak.

A very real sound.

The door was pushed open inward.

The next moment, Fang Yi saw a calligraphy hanging in the middle of the main room, on which were written the two words "Heaven and Earth" in a flamboyant style.

Below the calligraphy is a vermilion lacquered incense table, on which are placed a pair of candle sticks and a small incense burner.

Below the incense table, there was a middle-aged man with a long beard and wearing a Taoist robe sitting on a cushion.

What kind of Taoist is this?

The thin face does not give people a sense of harshness.

On the contrary, it gives people a feeling as gentle as jade.

Fang Yi felt the sense of "harmony of yin and yang, and the intersection of heaven and earth" from this Taoist.

That supreme state of mind made Fang Yi feel ashamed of himself.

Perhaps sensing someone coming in, the Taoist suddenly opened his eyes.

There was no emotion in his eyes, like an abyss, making it impossible to observe his inner emotions.

Fang Yi was looking around.

Suddenly, the Taoist priest began to chant slowly, "Human beings have five internal organs, six bowels, three souls and seven spirits... Often click your teeth to gather your spirit, perhaps thirty-six times, or twenty-four times, to calm your spirit inside, and not let it become scattered... Lock it under the navel, if the three souls are at peace, then all the spirits will be at peace, if the three souls are not at peace, then all the spirits will be at peace..."

When Fang Yi first heard the Taoist reciting, he didn't take it seriously.

However, as he listened, he felt something was wrong. It seemed to be a method of cultivating the primordial spirit.

In other words, it is a method of tempering the Yang God.

Fang Yi concentrated and listened carefully.

The Taoist priest was still slowly chanting the formula: "Think carefully, the spirit in your body is sitting in the Golden Hall and Jade Palace. Imagine that this spirit rises up on a yellow cloud, opens the top of the head, rides on the yellow cloud, sits to the extreme, returns to the top of the head, closes the top of the head and enters the Golden Hall and Jade Palace... Count like this forty-nine times..."

My top door is open.

What does it mean to just close the door and enter the Golden Hall and Jade Palace?

Fang Yi pondered for a moment and found that the fifth turn of "Mr. Chen's Inner Alchemy Secret" seemed to involve a stage of cultivation called building the Yang God Palace. Could it be that entering the Golden Hall and Jade Palace meant entering the Yang God Palace for nourishment?

The Taoist continued to teach, "The sun is hidden on the top of the head, forty-five is enough... The sun is the soul, which is yang; the moon is the spirit, which is yin, so the true immortal has no shadow and is pure yang..."

really!

It is indeed a great method to temper the primordial spirit!

Fang Yi listened more seriously.

The Taoist said: "There is the wood spirit in fire, and there is gold in water. Water, fire and the five internal organs are connected, and they never leave the earth... The eyes of the true dragon and tiger are the five-wheel king... There are nine different levels of immortals... Traveling in the four worlds and the universe, breaking flat places, people can't do anything wrong. If someone encounters it, he will be passed on the golden hammer and dagger, and they all have magical powers..."

Huh?

This method of cultivation not only includes the cultivation part, but also the magical powers of the Yuanshen and Yangshen?

For the first time, Fang Yi knew that both the Yuanshen and Yangshen could cultivate all kinds of supernatural powers just like the physical body.

For example, as the Taoist just mentioned, the Yuanshen and Yangshen can transform into golden hammers, daggers, and golden bodies at will. Once they are deployed, they roar like thunder and exert an unrivaled momentum.

This may not be easy to understand.

Fang Yi was a little confused at first, until he recalled the saints in "The Investiture of the Gods". For example, Yuanshi Tianzun was similar to himself when he used the Flower Blooming Instant, with a cloud of auspiciousness above his head. The same was true for Zhunti Taoist, but instead of showing a cloud of auspiciousness, a holy statue appeared, with eighteen hands and twenty-four heads, holding necklaces, umbrellas, flower pots, fish intestines, and blessing divine pestles, precious files, golden bells, golden bows, silver halberds, banners and other items.

The method of cultivating the Yuanshen and Yangshen that the Taoists are teaching now includes the method of evolving the Yuanshen and Yangshen into "holy images".

This "holy elephant" was originally a golden hammer and dagger with infinite power.

The golden hammer and dagger are objects of proof of the truth. They are as powerful as magic weapons. Moreover, they will become more powerful as the Yuanshen or Yangshen becomes stronger, and can transform into a physical entity.

Later, the holy image of enlightenment was gradually refined.

There is no fixed style for this holy image. Some may have a brilliant halo behind the head, some may look like a human with several heads and arms, and some may look like flowers, plants or mythical beasts. It all depends on the verification when one attains enlightenment.

Just as Fang Yi was thinking about it.

The Taoist is nearing the end of his teaching. "Those who follow the way will reach their limit. They will not fight against it, but will resist the fire. Some will use Samadhi to calm their breath, and the ghosts and gods will subdue themselves. Some will use Samadhi to calm the fire, and will be the sun and flame of wisdom. Some will move away and avoid it. Therefore, it is called success in accordance with the way, and there will be no rebellion. Those who want to learn this must have a firm mind."

The transmission of power ends here.

Fang Yi was just about to bow and thank the Taoist for teaching him the mysterious skills.

Suddenly, the Taoist said, "This scripture should not be passed on to the wrong people, for fear that the future generations will not know it. I will draw a picture for the future generations. Those who pass it on must first fast on the Jiazi and Jiawu days, face north and bow before passing it on. The one who passes it on is the master, and the one who receives it is the disciple. If you do not follow the rules, you will be guilty of a serious crime. Please let your disciples know. I am Chen Pu."

What!

Are you really Teacher Chen Pu?

Fang Yi was shocked.

Ever since I started practicing Mr. Chen's Inner Alchemy Secrets, I have always had one regret.

That is, although he learned from Teacher Chen Pu, he could not worship him as his teacher and have a legitimate reason.

Now that he knew the other party was Chen Pu, he expressed his desire to become his disciple.

Fang Yi knelt on the ground without hesitation, performed the three-bow and nine-kowtow ceremony to pay respect to his master, and shouted: "Disciple Fang Yi, today I pay respect to Mr. Chen Pu as my master, and I will pass on his Taoism and promote my master's alchemy method."

As soon as he finished speaking, Chen Pu laughed out loud, and suddenly became "smart". He smiled and nodded to Fang Yi and said, "I have been a Taoist priest for 651 years. Suddenly, there is a successor. I am very happy. You are my disciple and I will give you the Dharma name. Your name is Fang Yi. Yi means strong and tolerant. Without Hong, one cannot overcome the heavy task. Without Yi, one cannot achieve the goal. So is it feasible to name you Zhongyuan?"

Fang Yi kowtowed and thanked him, saying, "Master, I dare not refuse to learn from you."

Chen Pu nodded with satisfaction, and suddenly said something very strange, "Penglai Immortal Guest, Antarctic Immortal, prove my magical power!"

After saying that.

The Taoist, the thatched cottage, the fields and everything turned into nothingness.

All that was left was Chen Pu's last sigh, "Rebirth is not bliss, everything has its time, and prosperity will eventually lead to decline."

When the voice died down, the people dispersed.

There are still stars in front of my eyes.

It was as if everything that just happened was just a dream.

However, Fang Yi clearly remembered every word of the "True Dragon and Tiger Nine Immortals Sutra" taught by his mentor Chen Pu.

He stood at the railing of the Golden Tower, looking at the mountains in the distance shrouded in darkness, frowned and thought, "What does Master mean by all this?"

Needless to say, the mysterious skill.

Fang Yi will naturally practice in the future.

The mystery will be revealed during practice.

What puzzled him were the last few words Chen Pu said.

The immortal from Penglai, the immortal from the South Pole, can you prove my supernatural powers?

Fang Yi found this sentence a bit difficult to understand.

Penglai refers to the place where immortals live.

Xianke has many meanings, such as immortal, high-ranking official, or extraordinary person, and it is the name given by ancient people to certain special animals and plants.

Combined with Penglai, the immortal guest here should refer to the immortals of Penglai.

So does Nan Ji Chang Sheng refer to the Nan Ji Chang Sheng Emperor?

Fang Yi thought this was possible. "I remember that the three immortals of Penglai refer to the three stars of Fu, Lu, and Shou. The star of Fu generally refers to the Emperor Tianguan, the star of Lu refers to Wenquxing, and the star of Shou is the Emperor Changsheng of the South Pole."

Could it be that Chen Pu wants me to break into the Three Star Divine Realm?

Fang Yi couldn't find any other explanation for the time being and thought that this should be the case.

"Find an opportunity to meet Samsung."

He made up his mind secretly and began to ponder another meaning.

Rebirth is not bliss, everything has its time, will prosperity eventually end?

The term "rebirth in the Western Paradise" comes from Buddhism. It refers to rebirth in the Western Paradise, which is the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha, also known as rebirth in the Pure Land.

To put it simply, rebirth in paradise means death.

Combined with what Chen Pu said later, does "rebirth is not bliss" mean that immortality does not necessarily mean happiness?

“Everything has its time, and when prosperity comes, its fortune will eventually decline” is easier to understand.

Because this sentence comes from "Zhuangzi·Li Lou Shang", the general meaning is: Everything has its period and cycle of development, and when things reach the extreme, they will go to the opposite, that is, "When things reach the extreme, they will turn to the opposite, and when things reach the extreme, they will turn to the opposite."

Therefore, this sentence means to describe the laws of nature. Everything has a cycle, and when it reaches its highest point, it will turn and move towards another state. Whether it is individual life or social development, there are ups and downs and cycles.

"No death, no happiness, after all adversity comes good?"

Fang Yi really didn't understand the specific meaning of Chen Pu's words.

Forget it, if you can’t figure it out, just stop thinking about it.

"When I experience it myself, I will understand what it means."

Fang Yi felt that he was still lacking an opportunity, just like he had not yet officially accepted the young man from Qingcheng Mountain as his disciple. Everything had to be done at the right time and in the right place before it could come to fruition.

"However, this trip to Qingcheng Mountain was very fruitful. Not only did I successfully become Chen Pu's disciple and become his legitimate successor, but I also obtained the profound skill of the True Dragon and Tiger Nine Immortals Scripture."

Fang Yi knew that this profound skill was extremely mysterious. Not only could it help him cultivate the Yang God faster, but it could also greatly increase the combat effectiveness of his Yuan Shen or Yang God.
