Xiao Cheng is dragged into a game world, weak, helpless, and suffering from amnesia. Faced with mentally challenged NPCs, a teammate who seems like a big shot obsessed with finding bugs, and unreli...
At this moment, Fang He, the unlucky guy chosen by God, was dumbfounded and speechless.
The protagonist, focused on being the man behind him, shouted with fervor, "Go for it! You are my god!"
Fang He doesn't want to be a god.
Fortunately, his crossbow was much more accurate, and he could hit the small flames in the skeleton monster's eye sockets every time.
This seemed to be its Achilles' heel; the skeleton monster let out increasingly pitiful screams, becoming more and more frenzied.
Off-screen.
Number Three was almost stunned, and asked Xiao Cheng with a shocked expression, "Who is your boyfriend? This skill is not something an ordinary person can learn."
"He's not my boyfriend," Xiao Cheng said coldly and seriously, correcting him.
Number Three looked knowing: "You two had a fight? You're lucky to even be alive in this dungeon, what's there to argue about?"
Seeing that the topic was getting further and further off track, Number One coughed to get their attention: "So what exactly happened?"
So Xiao Cheng briefly explained what had just happened.
Number Three scratched his head: "I've never seen anything like this before."
“No, you’ve seen it.” Xiao Cheng tried to evoke his memory. “You were in the 800-meter corridor last night.”
Number Three: "..." Help, can we not talk about this anymore?
But then he thought about it again: what if it wasn't the female ghost who came out yesterday, but he who went in?
He couldn't help but shudder. After all, not everyone could fight the boss for eight hundred rounds like Fang He. He would rather run ten eight hundred meters than die in the game.
"Are you just going to watch like this?" Number One asked.
"Otherwise what?" Xiao Cheng looked puzzled. "He can handle it."
Fang He really can solve it.
Taking advantage of a break in the skeleton monster's healing, he paused to catch his breath, snatched the live-streaming equipment from the protagonist's hand, and shouted loudly into the chat: "Want to see the man summoned by the evil god personally kill the boss? Send in the chat with your virtual gifts!"
The live chat went wild instantly, with "666" and "233" flooding the screen, interspersed with a bunch of infatuated comments that were too much to bear to watch.

Fang He looked at the large black sword, more than a meter wide, that suddenly appeared in his hand. He was speechless, but his body still honestly grabbed the hilt and slammed it heavily onto the skull monster's head.
A dark aura burst forth from the sword, so dense it almost solidified, like a mountain, crushing the skeletal monster to dust.
Fang He's greatsword turned to dust. He took a deep breath, but before he could react, another flash of bloody light appeared, forming the shape of a giant hand, which flung him off the screen.
In the game, the protagonist finds Si Dong's portrait among the shattered remains of the skeleton monster.
Xiao Cheng didn't rush to operate. She turned her head to look at Fang He's bleeding shoulder, and her gaze swept down to the scabbed cut on the back of his right hand.
Fang He felt uneasy under her gaze, but he subtly changed the subject, opening his palm and saying, "I brought this out from inside."
It is an exquisitely crafted silver key.
"Why is there a key here?" Number One frowned. "And it was brought from the game. Are there any locks here that need to be opened?"
“They don’t have them in the arcade,” Xiao Cheng shook his head, “but if it’s a game…”
"Perhaps you remember that in the fifth game that the mute girl and the others played, a key was missing from the box in the last level."
The key found in the game is then used in the game.
That sounds reasonable.
So Number One and Number Three went upstairs to call the others, while Xiao Cheng and Fang He continued to complete the game.
The protagonist finds the portraits of the four winters, and the game is actually nearing its end. The ghost bride reappears, reaching out to the protagonist and demanding the four portraits.
Then there are two more story branches with options: accept or refuse.
“It’s fair to exchange a painting for a person.” Xiao Cheng was inclined to give the portrait to her.
“We didn’t choose to sacrifice anyone before,” Fang He retorted. “The portrait must be very important.”
"Then just refuse." Xiao Cheng didn't argue with him, pressed the button, and the story continued.
The protagonist refused to hand over the portrait, but no events were triggered. The ghost bride merely gave him a sorrowful look before suddenly disappearing.
The game screen suddenly went black, and two lines of text that looked like they were dripping blood slowly appeared.
Final chapter.
Searching for the ghost groom.
"I have a bad feeling." Xiao Cheng controlled the protagonist to investigate in a gloomy old house.
All the props have been used up, the backpack is empty, and there are no clues to be found. Even the opening animation is gone. All I can do is wander around and click on things.
It all comes down to metaphysics.
"It's okay, I can just try again. Anyway, there's no rule that says I'll die if I choose the wrong option," Xiao Cheng comforted herself.
Fang He: "..." But he didn't want to be dragged in to fight the little monster again.
"I'll do it."
He wanted to save himself from imminent danger.
Xiao Cheng glanced at his injured hand with a smile, saying nothing, but her expression clearly questioned, "Are you fucking capable?"
"I can do it. A man can't say no."
To prove his point, he even raised his right arm and swung it a couple of times, which aggravated his wound, causing the blood that had been barely flowing to start flowing again.
Fang He: "..."
In the end, Xiao Cheng continued the operation.
"Don't worry, you'll pass." She pressed the button casually. "Whether it's a bad ending or a happy ending, as long as you can achieve the ending, you've passed the game."
The protagonist, carrying four portraits, returned to the place where he first discovered Da Chun's blood-stained clothes.
