After experiencing a tragic car accident, Liu Zhengjie, whose ancestors were from China and who was now an ordinary Korean worker, woke up to find himself the eldest son of the powerful Korean chae...
"Park Ruien came to plead with her brother, and the honorary chairman extended a helping hand to the Sung Seung Group. At the same time, DS also joined other developed countries on behalf of South Korea in purchasing bonds from European countries facing debt default. If it weren't for the honorary chairman, I'm afraid no one in DS Group would have dared to make such a decision."
Li Mingxin was still a little puzzled. "He's also a human being. As long as you are human, you will make mistakes, right?"
"That's the truth. We believed it at first, but when he never made a mistake once, twice, three times... our suspicion turned into complete faith."
Li Mingxin now understood why everyone in DS Group had a religious-like blind obedience to Park Jin Hyuk.
He then asked, "How is the Honorary President's relationship with his family? I heard he and his wife have a very good relationship and he trusts his son very much, but... there seems to be some problems with his daughter."
"If he trusts someone, he will give them 100 percent trust, but once he loses their trust, he will become ruthless."
"So Park Hye-jin has lost her father's trust?"
Kim Jun-woo explained, "It was mainly because she didn't handle her relationship with her brother well."
"I heard there was a very fierce conflict between the siblings?"
Jin Junyu shook his head. "It wouldn't be a conflict, but perhaps it would be more accurate to say there was a disagreement. Initially, the Honorary President didn't intervene in the disagreement between the siblings, but rather let it go..."
"Just let it go?"
"He was waiting for the right moment. When he saw his daughter was making too much trouble, he decisively married her off, effectively kicking her out of the DS Group."
After Park Hye-jin got married in anger, she was not convinced and tried to persuade her in-laws to support her in investing in and running some businesses, but all ended in failure.
This eventually led to the breakdown of the relationship between the couple, and Park Hye-jin divorced her husband sadly.
Kim Jun-woo said, "After my sister's divorce, the current chairman Park Jae-ho did not abandon her. He invited her back to serve as the general manager of the DS Group Art Center. The honorary chairman took good care of his younger brother. In this respect, the current chairman is very similar to my father."
"Now that DS Group and Qingyu have completed the merger, does the Honorary President have any plans for the future?" Li Mingxin asked the last question.
Jin Junyu thought for a moment and said, "People say that wealth doesn't last for more than three generations. The once-giant Sanfeng Group has fallen on hard times. The Honorary Chairman is considering how to keep the DS Group going longer, so he's planning for a successor."
"Hasn't he already successfully passed the business on to his son?"
"He is considering who will take over from his son. A business will eventually decline, but during his lifetime, he hopes to lay a more solid foundation for the continued development of the DS Group."
Lee Myung-shin said, "Honorary Chairman Park Jin-hyuk's perspective on people and things is truly extraordinary. I have asked all my questions. Thank you for accepting my interview."
"You're welcome. If you have any follow-up questions, please feel free to contact me."
"OK, thanks."
Li Mingxin stood up and the two men shook hands and said goodbye.
While packing up his notebooks and recording equipment, Li Mingxin's mind popped up the title of the biography - "The First Chaebol with a Unique Vision".
Based on the protagonist's legendary experience, this title of the book may be the most appropriate.
<End of Book>
【Closing Remarks】
This book took nearly two years to write. It was originally planned to have over a million words, but after continuous deletions and refinements, it was finally reduced to more than 800,000 words.
The material of the story comes from what I have seen, heard and thought. The book describes the meeting between Park Jin Hyuk and Jung Kye Young at Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea. The reason why I chose Sungkyunkwan University as the location is because that is where I studied.
When I had written 100,000 words, I realized that this kind of pure business war novel was not a hot topic on Tomato, but because I had an agreement with the readers, I forced myself to keep writing. Now it is finally finished, which can be regarded as an explanation to the readers and myself.
Looking back at what I wrote a year ago, I feel my writing wasn't concise enough, and the content wasn't popular enough, so the serialization data was average. To all the readers who have read this far, thank you for taking the time to linger in my work. If my book resonates with you or even makes you gain something, it's not because I'm so well-written, but because the book is like a mirror, reflecting the things and beauty that are already in your heart.
I will continue to write about chaebols in the future, but I will make it more interesting and popular, while also making it meaningful.
A reader asked me about my future writing plans. I plan to spend two or three months streamlining and improving this book, and then start a new book.
The mountains remain green, the water flows on, and we will meet again.
