I Can See the World's Attributes

The shadows of the old world, the tides of the new era. Light and darkness, chaos and dawn... arise alternately in a world of machinery and witchcraft!

But what does this have to do with me, ...

Chapter 10 I Can Probably See the Whole World

You can actually see a map of the entire town! It feels like opening a map in a game.

Being able to see your own location and the location of others is almost the same as pressing 'm' to open the map!

Because the map is not comprehensive, it only marks Thelemian and the surrounding mountains. Even in the town of Thelemian, only a few groups of houses are drawn together, without detailed descriptions of the entire street.

However, the map in his field of vision could display the entire street. However, due to the limited map information, the small town was only displayed in great detail, while the mountain range was only shown as a mountain-shaped sign.

The shadow was almost reaching the edge of the parchment scroll, which meant that the details over there were probably not that great.

The cold wind outside makes me feel cold...

Sean was just about to walk out of the house when Luke hurriedly ran up to him with his usual coat in his hand.

"Sir, where are you going?" Luke thought he was going out so he followed closely with his clothes.

"Nothing, just out for a walk."

As if noticing that he had been looking at the map, Luke thought it was probably still about the ancient tomb, so he continued.

"This was probably left behind by the 'record-teller' back then, or perhaps he forgot to take it with him. However, his notes don't describe any treasures in the ancient tomb. It seems to be just some useless junk."

It has been so long that even the things we use in daily life may have weathered and damaged, and most of the things left are useless.

Unless there is research value or evidence of a certain era that the academic community is looking for, people will not take these records away. As a result, generations of archaeologists think they will discover something, but they always return disappointed.

"Maybe I'll look for it again, maybe I'll find something new." Luke saw that his master hadn't spoken and his eyes were still on the map.

Is it true that the adults are interested in archaeology?

Wasn't that a lie that day?

But he had lived in Telemian for so long, and had known the young heir since the time of the previous generation of Baron Weigel, but he had never heard him ask him about anything related to archaeology.

"No need!" Sean finally spoke, but it was just a simple answer.

"Do we have any other types of maps here?"

"Map...I think there is. There is also a most detailed map of the entire Telemian area in the study." Luke said.

"Quick, give it to me. I want it now!"

Luke was a little confused about his master's sudden idea, but he could only do as he was told.

It is in the cabinet behind the table in the hall. This map was brought back from Koga City. In the early period, I would use it to express my views in front of the previous generation of Baron Weigel and use the map to plan development plans. However, after I got used to living there, I never took it out again.

Anyway, Thelemian is one of those small villages that is peaceful and isolated from the world. There is only one way out of the town. Many people would rather live here all their lives than go out, so there is no need for other maps.

As a bachelor, Luke is indeed very organized. Even if a box has not been opened for many years, he knows what is inside!

"It's this box."

Sean watched the other party take out several cabinets of various sizes from the cabinet, and finally stopped in front of a slightly larger box.

Open,

Dust had already covered the edges, but it still exuded the special smell of books and leather.

It looked new, and he fished out a larger leather scroll from the edge, then handed it to Sean...

"Look, sir, this is the map."

Sean couldn't wait to open it on the table. It was about one and a half meters long and one meter wide. This map was more detailed. It showed the small town of Thelmian and the surrounding mountains and wheat fields. The roads leading to those places were simply written at the borders, and the other places were place names.

A more detailed picture...

Sean shook his head and closed his eyes slightly.

This time I focused my mind on the map, and slowly and naturally, the image fluctuated slightly before my eyes.

It was like a heat wave, and then the map in front of me changed... Just like when I played the empire game back then, high peaks began to rise on the horizon, uneven roads appeared, and models of buildings rose above the town.

Because the map is larger, I can see it more clearly this time.

Especially in the area around the Baron's house, even the snow on the roofs of the houses could be seen. Because it was snowing, the map was quickly covered with a layer of white snow, including on the roofs.

Sean reached out and fumbled around on the map again, leaving Luke beside him with a bewildered look on his face.

You can't touch it! You can even touch the map directly with your palm through the houses... It's like a projection, overlooking the entire Thelemian region from above, and it's a 3D effect.

Because Sean could squat down and see the servants busy at home at eye level, but because they were too small, he could only see the color of their faces and could not see their facial features.

"Sir? What are you looking at?" At this time, Luke beside him also squatted down with him.

"Uh... I'm just taking a look, don't mind me." Sean said with a smile.

Damn,

Now this thing is even harder to explain. I used to think that being able to see character attributes was pretty cool, but I didn’t expect it could be used this way.
