Chapter 346 She's not made of clay either!

There was no barrier in the room, and Su Cheng's sleeping quarters were not far from the main hall. Su Cheng's three personal disciples stood at the door, starting with the question, "May I ask for your guidance?"

Dongfang Jue heard most of their conversations clearly, including those between Yichen Valley and Linlangchuan.

Dongfang Jue heard Su Cheng's nonsensical and incomprehensible explanation, or rather, his monologue.

"Master."

"Hmm, what do you think?"

Dongfang Jue was straightforward, but since they were the ones who hadn't done anything wrong, Su Cheng didn't expect them to admit their mistake at all.

"Master, I will accept the punishment."

"Jue'er, do you still remember what I said to you when you became my disciple?"

Dongfang Jue's expression was firm; she knew what her master was talking about.

“Now that Jue’er has become an apprentice, she will not regret it.”

Su Cheng also changed his approach, deciding to meet force with force and water with earth, and said in a deep voice with a light dusting of his sleeves.

"Jue'er has lofty ambitions; how can she let her great cause be ruined because of her master?"

"To achieve extraordinary things, the first thing is to learn how to make choices. Jue'er is not unaware of this."

"If you want to accomplish something, how can you act indecisively?"

This is sophistry, and Dongfang Jue is well aware of this. He avoids the main point and takes things out of context. He thinks to himself that it's already quite good that his master didn't make a direct personal attack.

"Master, Jue'er made this decision after careful consideration."

To establish a moral compass for Heaven and Earth, to secure a destiny for the people, to continue the lost learning of past sages, and to usher in an era of peace for all generations.

Even if it's sophistry, Master is right.

"Jue'er is still young and needs Master's protection. If she loses Master, I'm afraid Jue'er will find it difficult to achieve anything."

"No matter how you look at it, having Master around is all beneficial to Yu Jue'er."

"Therefore, both emotionally and rationally, this is Jue'er's only choice."

Su Cheng smiled; these guys were all quite eloquent.

"Your senior sister almost died, do you know that?"

"That's a blade. Your protective aura is completely useless. The blade can easily pierce through your bodies and quickly exert a suppressive effect. You will lose your fighting ability in three seconds and your mobility in five seconds."

"They used god-slaying arrows to deal with me; you could say that if they hit me, I would die."

"Even if there were life-saving elixirs, I wouldn't even be able to find your corpses."

"They are highly trained, professional killers, and capable of handling different combat environments and developing different combat plans based on different enemies."

"I'm not saying all this to scare Jue'er, but to tell you that this is not a game, and you can't afford to act recklessly. It's very dangerous."

"This is a matter between your teacher and them; it has nothing to do with you."

Her hair was tied up with a red rope, like Mulan in the army, and her brows revealed a heroic spirit. This woman was no less capable than any man.

Dongfang Jue's eyes were sharp as arrows, and even while kneeling, his back remained ramrod straight.

"Jue'er, don't be afraid."

Su Cheng was genuinely a little angry. Compared to Shi Yao, Dongfang Jue wasn't good at acting cute.

"I'm scared! I'm scared! I'm scared you'll die! Do you understand what I'm saying?"

"I know what you're thinking. You think the worst that can happen is that you'll die with me!"

"Let me put it this way!"

"Your teacher is incredibly selfish! Don't even think about such a thing!"

This was the first time Dongfang Jue had ever seen his master like this, able to wear his anger on his face.

But Dongfang Jue had no intention of backing down, nor did he want to or could.

“Master, Jue’er is also selfish.”

To be honest, if Su Cheng had a way out, he would never have said such a thing.

"I can't control you anymore, is that it?"

But it must be admitted that Su Cheng really couldn't think of any good way to make this stubborn guy "turn over a new leaf".

Just like unreasonable parents, Su Cheng had no other choice.

It's somewhat ridiculous that, when faced with the child in front of him, Su Cheng couldn't judge a matter in terms of right or wrong...

"I'm doing this for your own good, Jue'er. Do you understand?"

The child is just young; the child is not really stupid. Many parents don't realize this.

For some reason, Su Cheng felt inexplicably ashamed when he said those words.

Su Cheng didn't know whether Jue'er's actions were right or wrong, but one thing was certain: she didn't want Jue'er to do that.

He couldn't accept that Jue'er had made such a choice; he never wanted to see anyone else die for him again.

"Jue'er knows, Jue'er knows that Master did it all for Jue'er, and that's why Jue'er made that choice."

Do you think your teacher is consulting with you?

Dongfang Jue refused to back down in the slightest. As the third disciple of Lingxian Palace, if her senior sisters were not afraid of death, then Dongfang Jue was no pushover either!

"This is Jue'er's answer. Jue'er accepts the punishment."

"If Jue'er really leaves, I'm afraid she'll be gone forever."

She couldn't disobey her master's orders. Unless her senior sisters accompanied her, and with both of them standing there, how could she leave?

If she really leaves, will there still be a place for her in Lingxian Palace?

Not to mention that her two senior sisters would probably ignore her again, even Elder Yu Lan would probably not give her a second glance.

She started learning a little late, but she's not a pushover!

“Master, perhaps Jue’er is a bit too thoughtful, but she is not a heartless person.”

"If I abandon my master and senior sisters and leave, how can I face Lingxian Palace again? How will I live my life?"

"How will my two senior sisters view Jue'er? How will the world view Jue'er?"

"How can someone with such despicable conduct win the hearts of the people?"

"I'm afraid there will be no place for Jue'er to live or stay in this world."
