Chapter 1362 I Think I Did Better Than You

Im stared at Kuro for a moment, then shook his head in disappointment and said, "It seems you still don't understand. Like those pirates, this isn't a stagnant world. This world needs monitors so that it can remain vibrant without being invaded by greater chaos. Keeping the chaos out is not a problem in itself."

"Just as you are in the Navy, where you mostly fight pirates, you are also in a way monitoring others in order to maintain order."

"The local police maintain order to prevent the chaos from spreading; they are also monitors."

Im said calmly, "Whatever you want to do, as a Marine, what you want to do is the same as what I want. We are no different. In that case, why not submit to me and work together to make this world more orderly?"

"I can eliminate the descendants of the twenty kings, but you must promise not to oppose me again, how about it?"

Kuro looked at Im, his brows gradually furrowing. He slowly relaxed his gaze, no longer aiming it at the man.

Seeing this, a smile appeared in Im's eyes. "That's right, just like that. Follow me, let's..."

siluke.

What did you say?

Kuro cracked his knuckles, his expression disdainful: "Don't make excuses for your laziness. Where did you learn all this? The Invisible Hand or some kind of shock therapy? You're just being completely irresponsible."

"Oh, you think some people are a threat to chaos, so you 'take action' to eliminate them without considering why this chaos occurred. You treat the symptoms but not the root cause, never solving the problem, only dealing with the people who caused the problem, and then you don't care about anything else. You think the chaos in the emotional world is all caused by people, right? Have you ever thought about whether there's something wrong with your governance?"

Kuro clicked his tongue: "Old man, times have changed. You should have started thinking when the Revolutionary Army appeared, instead of just focusing on Joy Boy and Nika. Those things are so outdated and out of touch with reality. The reason you're still so afraid is simply because you..."

"You've kept this world stagnant. For you, no change is the best system!"

"And this kind of thing..."

Kuro's face darkened: "She's really disgusting."

He held up two fingers, tracing them along the blade, and said calmly, "I'm not like you. Although becoming like this wasn't my intention, when food is offered to me, I have to eat it, otherwise I'd feel bad..."

Golden light covered the blade, and Kuro slung it over his shoulder, his voice like the wind, echoing in Im's ears.

"The Profound Mystery of the Unknown God's Romantic Journey..."

Im's pupils contracted. Under his gaze, this move was still incomprehensible. It was a move he had never seen before, and... it could kill him.

We can't die!

Joy Boy...

He can't die before he gets out!

Im subconsciously glanced at the huge straw hat behind him, a hint of nostalgia in his eyes, and then moved, thrusting his rapier straight at Kuro.

He still had a chance before he used that move.

The sword struck empty air; the blade passed through the Kuro phantom, blurring its form.

In a moment, Im reacted and swung his sword to the side.

But just then, a ribbon tied around his wrist.

Kuro appeared to Im's side, and six ribbons around his body moved together to bind Im's neck, hands, feet, and waist, preventing him from exerting any force.

“Power is an essential thing, you’re right. You can grasp my power, and just as easily, my power can entangle you, even if only for a moment!”

"You bastard!"

Anger finally flashed in Im's eyes. It felt like he had been slapped in the face by a bug that could be crushed at any moment. He struggled to break free of the ribbon's restraints.

"Why would I give you a chance!"

Kuro moved forward, and more Void Killers burst forth from his body, binding Im's body, which had just broken free. He raised a foot and kicked Im directly, forcing him backward with tremendous force, all the way to the wall. They then rose upward, crashing through the dome of the sky and shattering the walls above, before reaching the Void Throne and appearing before everyone.

Just as Im said, the bodies of the Five Elders lay beneath the Void Throne. They died in completely different ways: some were turned into scattered blocks of ice, some were beaten to death, and some were torn apart by claws. But without a doubt, the battle of the Five Elders was over.

They weren't strong to begin with, not to mention that there were a large number of elite naval personnel here.

At this moment, they all looked up and saw Kuro appearing like a feeding spider, coiled around its 'prey'.

Who is that?!

Everyone's pupils were constricted.

They hadn't expected that there really was someone in Mary Geoise, right behind and below the throne.

Is that the one who sits on the throne?

"You will not succeed!!"

Im declared, “Without monitors, you will know nothing about what is happening at sea. Those extraterrestrials, those lurking dangers, are beyond the capabilities of the navy alone. You are committing a crime; you are sinners who have plunged the world into chaos!”

"I already said..."

Kuro raised his sword. "Whether someone is guilty or not is not for you to decide, nor is it relevant to the world. Right now, it's just that I don't like you, and then..."
