The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
Above the clouds.
Kuro flew up, carrying seawater and other debris, passing through countless layers of clouds, until he finally saw a group of islands floating haphazardly in the sky.
The islands are situated in a way that has no aesthetic appeal whatsoever; they just float aimlessly, row upon row, making it impossible to count how many there are.
Beside those islands, there was a vast expanse of sea, and nearby, there were numerous ships, weapons, iron blocks, stones, black guns, and a dozen or so steel factories.
Or rather, it's a lump of steel, because Kuro only used the factory to smash things.
Also swept over by Kuro were numerous weapon fragments shattered by Whitebeard's attack.
Of course, these are not the most.
You may not know this, but we usually call those things that are neither islands nor rocks, but not rocky enough, "clods of earth".
At this moment, the most common thing floating in the air is this kind of soil.
They come in all shapes and sizes, densely packed around the island.
It resembles a junkyard in space, or debris from a broken planet.
It was a complete mess.
Anyway, Kuro didn't know how high off the ground was, and it wasn't even on the Sky Island.
But if you go any higher, Kuro can see the 'White Sea'.
Kuro landed on one of the large islands, and the entire junkyard... no, the entire treasure vault began to move forward.
In short, let's fly off the top of Whitebeard's head first.
"Boom boom boom..."
Suddenly, a sound came from his body.
Kuro pulled a hard object out of his pocket.
That's a Den Den Mushi's metal wristwatch.
The sound came from the Den Den Mushi.
Kuro squinted and shoved the thing back in.
I won't answer.
If you accept it, you're doomed.
There are still four days left, and he won't answer the phone no matter what I say, so he pretends not to know anything.
Completely ignoring the ringing Den Den Mushi, Kuro stroked his chin and looked around. "Speaking of which, this is a good opportunity to renovate. This place is too ugly and doesn't fit the style of a treasure vault."
Since Kuro had four days to come to heaven, he decided to take the time to tidy up properly.
He looked for a moment, then reached out and grasped, and a large number of islands began to move toward him. A mass of seawater surrounded him, connecting the islands and acting as rivers and boundaries.
A vast sea connects to the island, supporting it from below and connecting to its edge, serving as the outer sea. In this outer sea, the ships are submerged and float on the water.
The clods of earth merged together, settling in the middle of the island and transforming into a towering mountain.
Under Kuro's power, the metal fragments came together and transformed into giant steel lion heads, which landed in various parts of the vast island, serving as landmarks.
Around the lion's head, there were a large number of black guns and weapons.
At the location where Kuro was, there was a massive and majestic lion head statue. He thought for a moment, then reached out and summoned 'Sakura Ten' and 'Kokuro', which flew over and pierced the ground in front of the lion head in a crisscross pattern.
"Okay, I'll use this place to burn incense later, and I'll offer sacrifices to you during festivals."
Kuro stared at the lion's head and nodded in satisfaction.
He didn't get much from the Golden Lion, except for the power generation techniques of his slashing attacks.
To be honest, Kuro's swordsmanship, even with his haphazard practice, is no worse than anyone else's.
The Iaijutsu, derived from the [Mumei Shinpu-ryu] style, was also something I gradually developed through practice.
However, he does lack something in terms of slashing techniques.
He absorbed and made up for it during his battle with the Golden Lion.
Anyway, the old man is dead, so I just took 'Slash Wave' and 'Thousand Cut Valley' from him.
And the techniques that gave him that ability were especially memorable during his battle with Shiki.
He was thoroughly amused by these lion heads.
Most importantly, I'm too lazy to think of a name.
Lions are quite majestic, anyway.
Huh? A dragon?
His mouth isn't crooked, he's neither a live-in son-in-law nor a war god, and he doesn't have hundreds of millions of dollars to his name, so what's with this "dragon" nonsense?
He doesn't deserve it.
After finishing all this, Kuro breathed a sigh of relief.
After arranging it like this, it looks much better.
However... it's too deserted.
He may be a coward, but no, he just likes safety.
But I also want a lively and comfortable atmosphere.
"Ah... it was better when I was a sergeant. Although Cass was a bit of a troublemaker, he was obedient. I could just sail a patrol ship, catch some small-time pirates, get some rewards, and accumulate some insignificant military merits. I reckon in another ten years, I could become a branch base chief for that kind of life," Kuro said wistfully.
He used to think that once he got a stable promotion and became the branch base leader, he could live a peaceful life in the East China Sea. He would have someone to provide for his food and drink, and he could learn to sail warships and pick up girls from Finbodi in his spare time, and occasionally go to Barati for a meal.
Wow, life couldn't be better.
Otherwise, why would he join the navy? Isn't he just thinking about the benefits?
Unlike now.
Kuro sighed deeply and gritted his teeth: "What kind of day is this!"
He was forced to hide in the air.
Is this any way to live?
"Coo coo—"
Just as he was thinking this, his stomach started growling again.
"That bastard Marco!" Kuro cursed again.
He hadn't finished the food the little girl had given him before that bastard Marco came over.
boom!
Suddenly, a huge wave surged up from the open sea, and a sea monster as big as two ships burst out of the water, roaring at a pirate ship floating on the sea, and eagerly took a bite.
