Chapter 2 The Unknown God's Romantic Murderous Sword

Colmore raised his axe again, but Kuro 'slipped' and was sent flying, and then the knife naturally pierced the body of a pirate.

The cycle repeated itself, and Kuro continued charging forward.

Colmore was furious. This navy kid was too lucky. He had dodged his attacks three times in a row.

"This time, I'm going to kill you with this!"

He changed his trajectory, no longer chopping vertically, but instead swinging the axe in a wide arc and smashing it horizontally.

Kuro's eyes narrowed, and a sharp glint appeared in his pupils.

"Eye Sword".

Colmore froze, instinctively clutching his heart. At that moment, he felt a chill run through his body, his legs went weak, and he swung the axe, the handle striking Kuro squarely.

Kuro flew away again.

"ah!"

A pirate clutched his chest and collapsed.

Kuro pulled his sword from the corpse again, his face grim: "Pirates, I will not yield!"

"How can it be repaired!"

Colmore got up from the ground, his face turning pale with anger.

He didn't even bother picking up the axe; instead, he spread his arms wide and charged straight at Kuro.

Then Kuro flew out again and, quite by chance, killed another pirate.

Colmore was going crazy; no matter how he dealt with the navy, he would 'fly' away.

Even if he clearly catches the other person, he will feel a chill run through his body in that instant, as if he has been stabbed in the heart by a sword, and then he will fall down, while the navy man will still fly away.

After a while, the pirates who should have had the upper hand were now mostly defeated.

Kuro got up from the ground, pulled out the military knife stuck in the pirate's body, panting and pale.

"Sergeant!"

Sergeant Kas looked at Kuro with heartache. Although there were no wounds or bloodstains, his trembling body and the occasional suppressed coughs indicated that he was seriously injured.

Even so, even so...

The navy will not surrender to pirates!

"Justice will prevail! We will not surrender to pirates! Ah!!!"

With tears welling in his eyes, Cass roared and charged at a pirate, ending his life with a single strike.

"Kill them!!!"

The morale of the navy increased visibly, and because Kuro kept crashing into the pirates in a 'miserable' way, and his weapon 'unfortunately' pierced the pirates' bodies, there were not many pirates left to attack. They were quickly overwhelmed by the navy, and were defeated and fled in disarray.

"Damn it, damn it!"

Colmore was trembling with anger. Ever since he started dealing with this navy officer, he had been having a lot of bad luck!

He didn't notice anything amiss when using the axe, but later he sensed something was wrong. Although he was the one attacking Kuro each time, his punches and kicks always felt like they weren't hitting anything, as if they were hitting thin air. Yet Kuro did fly out of the air and looked quite badly injured.

It's awkward and strange.

Kuro looked grief-stricken, but secretly chuckled to himself: "Excellent! Next, the Navy will join forces to fight the great pirate Colmo. After a fierce battle of three hundred rounds, they will finally capture him. It wasn't just me who fought him; it was the credit of the other Navy members. This kind of thing is too common; I certainly won't be noticed."

"I'm really angry."

Just as Kuro was about to command the navy to attack, Colmo's voice suddenly became low and deep. He bent over slightly, his back hunched, and his eyes suddenly turned into golden vertical pupils.

"Tear you apart!"

Colmo's body swelled up, layers of scales grew from his back, his hands transformed into claws, and the upper part of his head became elongated.

He transformed into a lizardman.

Bang bang bang...

The bullet struck Como in the back, sending up a spark.

"A monster!"

Some sailors screamed in fear.

Kuro's expression was truly grim this time.

Devil Fruit user?

Why the hell!

"What are the Navy's assessment team doing? Six million for this kind of person? It's not like the government is short of money. Wouldn't it be better to just give him sixty million and send him to his death in the Grand Line?!" Kuro roared inwardly.

"Hehehehe..."

Colmo grinned wildly, "I'm a lizardman who ate the 'Lizard Fruit.' I didn't want to use this ability, but you've really angered me, especially you!"

He pointed at Kuro and roared, "I'm going to tear you to pieces alive!"

"I won't let you succeed! Sergeant Kuro, don't worry, I'll protect you even if it kills me!"

Sergeant Cass stepped in front of Kuro and shouted loudly.

I don't need your big beard to protect me, I'll get a pretty girl instead.

Kuro twitched the corner of his mouth.

"Then let's start with you!"

Whoosh!

With a swift movement, Colmore swept through the middle of the navy, his claws reaching straight for Cass. His speed was so fast that a normal person couldn't react.

By the time Cass made a move, the claw was already right in front of his face. If it had gripped him firmly, his head would probably be gone.

Bang!

Just then, Cass felt a tremendous force coming from the side.

Kuro kicked Cass away, and facing Colmo's massive claw, he quickly slashed the blade with two fingers together, chanting in a very soft voice:

"The Unknown God's Romantic Murder Sword..."

brush!

He turned to the side, the blade lightly slicing across Colmo's waist, and moved behind Colmo.

"Mirage".

In the midst of the storm, Colmo actually felt a gentle breeze. He instinctively touched his waist and, finding nothing amiss, turned around with a sinister grin: "Luckily you dodged it again? Let's see how you dodge this time!"

"Protect Sergeant!"
