The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
These words were a severe blow to Sazir.
He had been practicing the "Nail Fist" technique under his master since he was a child, and he was still practicing it before he went to sea.
In the words of that one-eyed old man: You are not particularly talented, but you are quite diligent. The 'Nail Fist' will be carried forward and developed in the future.
He started training at the age of three, and after thirteen years, he has finally mastered the technique of dispersing and concentrating power.
But ever since I boarded this ship, strange things have been happening.
First there was Lida, who grasped the essence of his physical techniques with just one glance, and then there's Kuro.
What is this?!
His advanced application of physical skills?
He hasn't even mastered the domineering aura yet, but this person can already combine fist techniques with domineering aura to develop other moves?
Sazir lay there, his eyes vacant, a look of doubt on his face.
My master said I'm not exceptionally talented, and I think that's true.
Otherwise, how come after studying for so many years, I still can't use it as well as someone who has only used it for a few days?
"Kroo, Kroo, where are you!"
The man's voice rang out from the deck, "Have you prepared your bait yet? It's been days!"
"It's done, it's done."
Kuro, carrying a wooden bucket, ran and lifted it as he approached Kuro. "Mr. Kuro, here's the bait you wanted."
The wooden bucket contained bait made from small fish.
Foxy blew up his bait with a shot, and without bait, how could he fish?
This task was naturally assigned to his head steward.
Where's my fishing rod?
Kuro walked to the edge of the boat and looked around. "Lida, Lida, where's my fishing rod!"
"They're here! They're here!"
Lida came out with a fishing rod, glared at him irritably, and handed him the rod.
"Alright, that's all for you."
Kuro picked up the bait, threaded it onto the line, and cast the line into the sea.
"I absolutely have to catch another big fish, otherwise all my efforts these past few days will have been wasted."
The two people standing to the side remained silent.
After working so hard for so long, you didn't even get a thank you?
Kro pushed up his glasses, walked over to Sazir who was lying on the deck questioning his existence, and kicked him.
"Kuro! You lazy bum, get up and train!"
Under the sunlight, Chloe's glasses gleamed, giving off a somewhat sinister look.
“Mr. Kuro, I was just trained by Mr. Kuro. Look at the injuries on my body.”
Sazir felt somewhat wronged.
"Don't make excuses. What you need now is to be reformed. Only through sufficient beatings—no, sufficient training—can you repent and understand the benefits of the Navy!"
Sazir: "..."
You just want an excuse to hit me.
"If you're not going to get up, then lie here and see how well you can take a beating."
Kro clenched his fist.
"No, I'll get up, no!"
"Iron Block - Fist-Pistol!"
...
A few days later.
Sazier stood on the deck, his face bruised and swollen, his expression extremely gloomy.
He couldn't take it anymore.
He wants revenge!
To hell with the navy and pirates, he's going to get revenge.
What Kuro, what Lida, what Kuro, he's going to kill them all one by one!
Right now, immediately, right now!
Sazir's face grew increasingly ferocious, and his breathing became heavier and heavier. He couldn't control his anger when he thought about the beatings he had suffered during this period.
He needs to act immediately!
Rumble!
To the side, an uninhabited island was uprooted, and along with a vast area of the surrounding sea, it flew into the sky.
Sazir could also see the struggling sea creatures in the water being sent up with him.
The sea rose into the air, bringing with it a heavy rain that fell around it.
He was soaked to the bone.
In the sky, Kuro lifted himself up with one hand, rising into the air along with the island and the sea, while his body also swirled upwards.
“Not bad, not bad. This island has nothing on it, it would be a shame not to use it to expand our inventory.” Kuro nodded in satisfaction.
Having finally found an island with virtually no ecosystem, he naturally wanted to use it.
After the battle with Kaido, he lost all his supplies. Everything was in the New World, and he always felt like something was missing if he didn't expand his resources.
Although an entire kingdom, along with its buildings and weapons, was sent to the heavens, who would complain about having too little stock to ensure their own safety?
Sazir opened his mouth, looked at the smiling figure floating in the sky, and the anger in his heart inexplicably dissipated.
Forget it, forget it. I can't afford to mess with them. So what if I get beaten up? It's good to train my tolerance for setbacks.
"Kuro, you're here again! Can't you stop this for once? The soup I just drank tastes completely ruined by your rain!"
Lida came running out with a bowl of soup, yelling angrily.
"Ah... I'm sorry."
Kuro flew back to the ship from the sky, glanced at Lida, and suddenly thought of something, saying, "Wait, Lida, if I remember correctly, you've been eating these past few days, haven't you?"
"After expending physical energy, you should eat."
Lida replied matter-of-factly, "Hitting people? No, training is very tiring, and you need to replenish your energy when you're tired."
Kuro had a bad feeling. He looked around, beckoned a lieutenant, and asked, "How much food do we have left?"
The lieutenant hesitated for a long time before finally saying, "Reporting to the colonel, the food... is almost gone."
“I remember we were resupplied just three days ago,” Kuro said.
"Yes... but that's all." The lieutenant answered truthfully, glancing at Lida with a barely perceptible look.
