Chapter 261 The Power of the Blade

"Kuro, you coward, you despicable person, you scoundrel, why don't you come and face me!"

Right in front of Sazier, Donald roared at the surroundings, each word striking Sazier's heart like a heavy blow.

No matter how he explained, Donald simply wouldn't believe his name was Kuro, which fueled his rebellious attitude. The more Kuro admitted it, the more Donald felt that the real Kuro was a coward.

Lida and Chloe exchanged a glance, and Chloe nodded, her glasses reflecting light.

He's probably looking for Sazir Kuro.

But this fool probably won't believe it.

If he doesn't acknowledge that Sazir is the Kuro he wants, then there's only one Kuro present who meets his requirements.

Why are you cursing at me?

A sound came from the sky.

As soon as Kuro flew back to Moe Island, he heard a loud-voiced man cursing him at the port, calling him a cowardly rat or despicable.

Donald looked up and saw a man in a navy cloak looking down at him from the sky.

"You're Kuro?"

Donald was taken aback, examined Kuro in the sky, and nodded in satisfaction: "That's right, you must be Kuro! You think you can hide?"

"Handsome, upright, sharp eyes, melancholic temperament. Although you don't have stubble, you've already given yourself away. A person like you is like a firefly in the dark, so conspicuous and outstanding!"

"Yeah..."

Kuro was silent for a moment, then scratched his head sheepishly, his cheeks slightly flushed. "Ah, no, I haven't washed my face yet. I'm a little embarrassed by your compliment..."

Everyone: "..."

Lida rolled her eyes so hard they almost reached the sky. How come she hadn't realized that this seemingly stubborn man could actually flatter someone?

Sazir collapsed in despair, kneeling on the ground and pounding his fists into the earth.

He's the real Clow! The real Clow you've been looking for!

Kuro descended from the sky and landed in front of the Marines, facing Donald.

"However, even though you praised me, you were also insulting me before, weren't you? Who are you? What do you want?"

"My name is Donald, I..."

"stop!"

Kuro quickly stopped him from introducing himself further, and said very fast, "Mr. Kuro, this is Donald, from the Flower Country, who has come to seek revenge on you."

He was thoroughly tired of Donald's self-introduction.

"revenge?"

Kuro stared at Donald. "What grudge do I have against you?"

"You have no grudge against me."

Donald said truthfully, "But my master and your master have a grudge. My master has always been resentful of being defeated by your master, and he was still talking about it before he died. So when I learned that you were on Meng Island, I found Elmos to challenge him!"

He pointed his spear at Kuro and shouted, "Come and fight me! As your disciple, I will reclaim my master's honor!"

master...

Kuro was somewhat bewildered.

Where did he get his master?

Old man?

Although the old man treated him well, he hadn't taught him anything. Of course, Kuro didn't expect that old rascal to teach him anything either; his main fighting style was his abilities.

Kuro wasn't interested in kicking techniques, and as for swordsmanship, the old man couldn't teach him anything.

Cheats?

What? There are two more cheat codes. Besides, [Wuming Shenfengliu] is something he comes with by default. It's the first time it's appeared in this world, so there can't be a second one, and therefore there won't be any defeated opponents.

Who else is there...?

Donald noticed Kuro's puzzled expression, which annoyed him. "Don't joke around! Even if your master was a member of the Rocks Pirates and was on the same ship as Whitebeard, Beasts, and Big Mom, that's no reason for you to be arrogant. Didn't he mention the wandering swordsman from the Land of Flowers who used the Cross Spear?!"

I've mentioned it before.

Sazir thought to himself.

Of course I mentioned it. That old guy couldn't forget the Flower Country knight who crippled him, so how could I not have mentioned it?

However, Donald's words caused Kuro to misunderstand.

He pondered for a moment, then struck his right palm with his left hand, "Oh, you're talking about him? I'm not his apprentice."

He thought Donald was referring to Shiki.

"You treacherous and disloyal bastard!"

Donald was even angrier upon hearing this. He gripped his spear tighter and charged forward. "You inherited everything from him, and you still dare to deny it? Are you that afraid of me? Or are you saying that as a Marine, you don't acknowledge that you had a pirate master?!"

Thump!

"Point the star!"

He stomped heavily in front of Kuro, and the Cross Spear became a blur, emitting streaks of cold light, like twinkling stars in the sky, as it attacked Kuro.

"Gunmanship?"

Kuro was taken aback. He rarely encountered anyone who wielded the Cross Spear, and there were no experts in the Navy who wielded long polearms; most relied on brute force.

Kuro knows Whitebeard as someone who uses long poles well.

But this Donald is clearly not like that. His moves are very tricky, and the gun has a chain on it, so it should be used for ranged attacks. If it can be thrown, it would be ineffective if the force is too weak.

This guy seems pretty good.

He gripped the hilt of the sword, and a black light flashed. Several black lights also turned into afterimages, blocking the star-like brilliance with a clanging sound. All the attacks were blocked in that instant.

Donald retracted his spear, creating a whooshing sound, and thrust it out again with great force. This time, the tip of the spear was covered with an additional layer of domineering aura.
