This woman should be sticking close to Zefa, so if she's here, then Zefa isn't too far away.

Ain said softly, "I only wanted to gather some information, but..."

The World Government has not disclosed the events surrounding Pegasus Island in the West Blue, and even Zephyr, who has retired from the high command of the Navy, is unaware of some of the information, let alone his subordinates.

"Is that so?" The mayor asked, somewhat puzzled, but dared not ask any further.

Judging from the naval officer's serious and determined expression, perhaps he really is different. After all, he comes from headquarters, while he is just a country bumpkin who has never been to sea.

As for Kuro, he would never admit it.

Tell Ain that I did it? Even if I did it to her face, he wouldn't admit it.

Ain honestly replied, "During this time, I heard rumors about the situation on Pegasus Island in the West Sea, which is why I came to check it out. Here..."

She glanced at it and gritted her teeth, saying, "That's too much!"

This is not referring to the pirates' deaths, but rather to everything she discovered during those days.

“There’s a pirate alliance on Pegasus Island that rules the island. The person who defeated me before was just one of their officers. They’re too vicious; they don’t treat civilians like human beings. The people here are all enslaved by them. Colonel Kuro, this town is just the beginning.
