The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
Not far from Pegasus Island, on a small island, the warship approached a stretch of ocean not far from the island, without getting close to the land. By the time Kuro arrived, Zephyr was no longer on the warship.
"The aura is here..."
Kuro floated in the air, looking down at the small island, a hint of coldness in his eyes.
He reached out his hand, his fingers about to clench, but suddenly paused, then released it, looking in a certain direction on the island. "Fine, I'll give you face, old man, and let you play around for a bit."
He landed on the island, right below a camp where a group of pirates were camped, roasting meat and drinking wine by a fire, chatting and laughing.
One of the pirates was talking excitedly, laughing a few times and taking a swig of wine. His gaze happened to fall on the sky, and he suddenly stopped drinking, spitting out a mouthful of wine that splashed all over the face of the pirate opposite him.
"Hey, what are you doing!"
The pirate wiped his face, looking annoyed.
"Someone is flying!"
The pirate who was spitting out wine pointed to the sky and shouted incredulously.
"Are you kidding me? How can someone fly... It really is flying!"
The pirate, who had been sprayed in the face, looked up at the sky as he spoke, and his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
The pirates in the camp stared in shock at Kuro descending from the sky, stunned and speechless.
"Oh."
Kuro greeted them.
"They're from the Navy!"
"Why is the navy here?!"
"Quick, kill him!"
The pirates drew their weapons and surrounded Kuro.
"Only one?"
Only then did the pirate look around and find that there was no movement around him. After all that searching, he realized that there was only this one person.
Thump!
Thump!
A small giant, about five meters tall, pushed aside the surrounding pirates, his footsteps causing the ground to tremble.
He approached, sized Kuro up and down, clenched his fists so tightly they cracked, and grinned maliciously:
"Navy? You're all alone? You've got some nerve coming here. Do you even know where you are?"
These words made the surrounding pirates laugh.
There's only one navy, what's there to be afraid of?
"This is the most terrifying pirate group in the West Blue, the Pirate Alliance!"
He walked up to Kuro, looked down at him, and laughed, "A while ago, I ran into a group of Marines. Do you know how I dealt with them? I smashed them into mincemeat one by one!"
No sooner had he finished speaking than the man threw a punch.
"Oh! Frye's struck again."
"Hey, stop it, Frye! You're being too bloody. We're drinking, you know."
"Idiot, don't stop him. Wasn't he taught a lesson last time? Let Fry make a scene. We can always find another place to drink later."
The pirates watched with amusement as the little giant Frye threw his fist; in their eyes, that marine was already a dead man.
*Smack*
A huge fist was blocked by a single finger.
Kuro flicked his index finger and placed it against the fist, preventing the huge fist from advancing an inch.
I said...
He glanced at Frye, whose face showed shock, and said calmly, "Are your brains so small that they're smaller than planktonic organisms? There's only one reason why a Marine would dare to enter a pirate's den: he must have enough strength to be safe."
"In the past, dealing with pirates who didn't do much evil was quite difficult for me. After all, it's really hard to control the strength to step on ants without killing them. But dealing with you guys, I don't need to think too much about it."
With a gentle push of the index finger, the five-meter-tall giant felt a tremendous force in his arm and was forced back a few steps.
Kuro pointed his index finger forward at Nafley and said, "Flying Finger Gun - Explosion."
Bang!
Frye had a bloody hole in his forehead, as if he had been shot through by a bullet.
Bang bang bang!
Before the pirates could react, identical blood holes appeared between their eyebrows, their faces stiffened, and they all collapsed.
"call..."
Kuro put his index finger to his lips, blew on it gently, and continued walking forward.
He naturally also possesses the ability to combine physical skills with the characteristics of nail punching.
"Let's take advantage of the little free time now and clean up the pests."
This is Kuro's forte. He did just that in the East Blue. Back when he was a recruit, he would go with his superiors to hunt down pirates. When he encountered those annoying pirates, the kind that the Navy probably couldn't beat, he would always find an excuse to go out.
And then, that was it.
...
Bang!
Bang! Bang!
"Hernando, come out and see me!"
In a cave on the island, Zephyr knocked down a pirate with a single punch and reached the deepest part of the cave.
Behind him, a group of pirates had already fallen.
Zephyr simply traveled straight through, and the strength of pirates posed no threat to him.
“Zeff, teacher…”
The sound came from above.
Zefa looked up and saw the blond Hernando appear above the cave, looking at Zefa and saying, "I knew you would come alone."
"What exactly do you want, Hernando?"
A trace of sorrow appeared in Zefa's eyes. "You've always been a kind person. Why did you have to become so depraved?"
"Kind?"
Hernando looked up and laughed heartily, as if he had heard a hilarious joke.
"As kind as you? Zephyr! Stop joking around. Look at you, look at the stupid thing you're doing! You're so old, and you still want to wear such a bulky thing, that robotic arm. You're proud of it?"
He leaped high into the air, brought his feet together, and thrust them forward, shouting, "Storm Kick - Spear!"
A cone-shaped slash came straight at us.
Zefa raised the mechanical arm and swung it forward with force, shattering the slash.
However, the next instant, Hernando appeared above Zefa's head, and the moment he swung his mechanical arm, a hand pressed down on Zefa's face, slamming him hard to the ground.
Bang!
Hernando's voice rang out amidst the vibrations.
"Clumsy, useless, crippled, and so old, yet you still deal with pirates the same as before. If you don't kill them, one day you'll be the one the pirates take revenge on!"
Hernando said fiercely, "Take this moment, for example, teacher. As a pirate, I can easily kill you! If once isn't enough, I'll do it twice, and if twice isn't enough, I'll do it three times, because you can't kill anyone!"
He gripped Zefa's face tightly with his five fingers, making a cracking sound, with such force that he wanted to crush Zefa to death.
call!
The robotic arm swung past him from the side, and Hernando tilted his head to the side, feeling a tremendous force in his abdomen that sent him staggering backward.
Zefa kicked away, straightened up with a somersault, and sighed: "Hernando, are you still thinking about that?"
"That matter?"
Hernando's eyes widened, bloodshot, and he growled in a low voice, "That so-called 'thing'...that's my family, Zefa!"
