The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
"Parent-child generation"?
Hernando, veins bulging, retorted, "You actually called me a freeloader? What do you know, you..."
He stared at the pool of blood, his voice faltering. He paused, then suddenly realized, "If you were able to get in, that means... Hugh Tica..."
"Oh, that woman? She's a pirate, and I'm a marine. It's only right for marines to kill pirates."
Kuro gripped Shusui tightly, staring directly at Hernando, "Next, it's your turn, pirate!"
"You bastard!!"
Hernando unleashed a burst of air from his fists, and with a 'thud,' his footsteps created a large crater in the ground as he charged straight at Kuro.
"When I was fighting pirates as a Marine, you were still nowhere to be found. You juniors have no right to call me a pirate!"
when!
The blade, crackling with golden electricity, caught on Hernando's fist. Kuro swung the blade, and with a tremendous force, Hernando was thrown away. His body spun once in the air, and with a thud, his feet landed on the rock wall. Using the force, he then lunged towards Kuro.
Kuro held the blade horizontally in front of him, then extended two fingers and swiped them across the blade.
"I'm not like Zefa; I don't like wasting time with people."
Golden light filled the entire blade of the Autumn Water Blade.
"Then I'll take you down first!"
Hernando's fist unleashed an even deeper burst of energy, his eyes clearly filled with determination. He knew he was no match for Kuro, but he didn't say he absolutely had to fight this Marine.
All we need to do is break through his blockade, get out of the cave, and find Zephyr!
Kuro gripped the hilt of the sword with both hands, raised it high, and without even looking at Hernando, let him charge at him, his fists striking his own body directly.
"You won?"
Even Hernando was somewhat surprised that such a man could be hit so easily.
However, in the next instant, his fist passed through Kuro's body, and the body in front of him began to fade away.
It's an afterimage!
"The Unknown Divine Wind and Amorous Killing Sword - Flood Dragon!"
With a low shout, a golden light appeared from the side and slammed down, striking Hernando.
Hernando gritted his teeth, preparing to withstand the attack and break out of the cave.
Anyway, he just wanted to rush out.
laugh!
The blade cut a gash in her waist, causing Hernando to groan, but she continued charging forward.
He never uses the Armament Haki technique; it would be too wasteful. His Haki level isn't very high; his limited Haki is mostly concentrated in his fists.
Not to mention that he had fought Zephyr. Although he still had some strength left, he was saving that for later, not for now. Being injured would give Zephyr an advantage.
"fine?"
However, Hernando had only taken a few steps when he came to his senses and touched his body. Apart from the knife wound, he had no other injuries.
That powerful strike only had this little power?
He turned his head and looked at Kuro, who was starting to sheath his sword, with a puzzled expression.
"Never mind, this is an opportunity!"
Hernando accelerated suddenly, almost bursting out of the hole.
If he finds Zephyr and lets him kill him, then his mission will be complete, and he will no longer have to endure the torment of being a pirate!
"Sigh...why be so persistent?"
A soft sigh came from behind.
Hernando's initial burst of speed came to a halt, his pace slowing until he was barely walking. He lowered his head, sweat trickling down his face.
"Oh? So you heard me..."
"The soft sound of the divine wind."
laugh!
Blood mist burst from Hernando's body, like a constantly gushing fountain, with blood spurting out from all parts of his body and flowing onto the ground, forming a large bloodstain.
Thump.
Hernando lay on the ground, his head still looking forward. He had already exited the cave, but he no longer had the strength to move.
From his gaze, he could see the gaunt figure lying in a pool of blood in front of him.
Hugh Tica lay there, eyes closed, a faint smile on her lips.
It seems that he has fulfilled some wish.
"Shutica..."
Hernando reluctantly stretched out his hand, spreading his five fingers in that direction. "My only regret is about you. You could have been an excellent navy officer; you didn't have to stay with me..."
"That's what I think too."
Kuro walked over and stood in front of Hernando, blocking his view so that he could only see the back of his cloak. The large word 'Justice' on the back of the cloak made him momentarily lost in thought.
Kuro stared intently ahead and said, "That female Marine has said everything, but... if Zephyr were willing, I wouldn't stop him, but since he's not willing, why force an old man like this?"
"Because of Zephyr, Teacher Zephyr has fallen. If he doesn't kill, he will eventually be abandoned by the times in this increasingly chaotic era. I don't want to see Teacher Zephyr abandoned; I want to see him rise again!"
"For this, I would give up everything!"
Hernando looked up, staring angrily at the back of Kuro's head. "Do you know what you're doing? You're letting an excellent navy officer fall into depravity!"
"Stop joking, you piece of trash!"
Kuro turned his head and looked at him disdainfully, "Calling you a freeloader is absolutely right. The correct process is for the younger generation to surpass the older generation. If it's the other way around, then each generation is worse than the last. You, who don't understand this, are only capable of this much."
