The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!

Thump!
Thump!
Thump!
The bell tolled.
Above the gate, in the tall pavilion, the enormous bell began to shake, its loud chimes causing everyone to look up.
The competition has officially begun.
As the bells rang, Warner raised the microphone and roared passionately:
"Welcome to the Martial Arts Tournament in the Town of Metamorphosis within the Insect Kingdom. It's bloody, exciting, and full of fists and kicks, martial arts against martial arts. This is the most famous and grandest martial arts tournament in the West Sea. You will showcase your best martial arts skills on these six arenas to advance to the final arena!"
He pointed downwards, and in the center of the six huge arenas, there was an even larger central arena.
"You must defeat only one person in the melee across the six arenas to enter this final arena. There is no time limit, no weather limit; only the victor can enter this final arena!"
"And on that final arena, the last person standing will receive a generous reward! It will be 300 million Berries provided by the Luo family, 500 million Berries provided by the Insect Kingdom, a fiefdom of any choice from the Insect Kingdom excluding the four towns, and the friendship of the Luo family!"
"Fight! Slaughter! Unleash your full might!"
Warner lowered his body slightly, took a deep breath, leaned back, and roared, "Those who want to participate, see that water vat? Pick up your bowls, drink the blood wine inside, and get onto the arena within one minute. Those who fail to get onto the arena will be disqualified. Now, begin!!!"
boom!!!
A large number of people rushed to the large vat placed in front of the arena. The vat was filled with turbid blood-red liquid. The martial artist picked up the bowl placed next to him, hurriedly scooped up a bowl, drank it, and then climbed onto the six arena platforms.
In the past, from the moment they stepped onto the arena, the martial artists should have used their skills to eliminate the weaker ones. But this time was different. After entering the arena, the martial artists did not fight. They just watched and stood there motionless.
Since they're all pretty much the same, rushing in recklessly could easily result in being ganged up on and kicked off the stage.
Those who can serve as 'Naval Allied Forces' are all quite intelligent.
Most of these people were local thugs from their respective villages. In order to avoid being bullied by the strong and to be able to act arrogantly in front of the weak, they were constantly racking their brains, fearing that they would be beaten to death.
So they do have some wisdom.
In this situation, no one would dare to step forward rashly, nor would their strength allow it.
Therefore, all six arenas remained locked in a stalemate.
"A clash of wills, a collision of spirits—the martial artists on the arena face not only formidable enemies but also the oppressive atmosphere of the crowd. How will these martial artists break through this impasse? Let's wait and see!"
Warner passionately declared, "Cheer! Let's cheer for this grand event and bring even more passion to these martial artists!"
Based on past experience, the audience should be applauding and cheering at this point, but now...
There's nobody here!
The moment the 'martial artist' stepped onto the stage, the area below completely emptied out.
"Everyone come to me. Let's deal with some of them first, and we'll talk about the rest later!"
Suddenly, on one of the arenas, Karl raised his arm and shouted, drawing most of the crowd to his side and separating the people in the arena.
"Now it's a test of luck; whoever has the best luck will be the last one standing!"
Karl smiled at the separated few, "Get them out of the ring!"
"Damn it, don't even think about it!"
The remaining people spontaneously gathered together and began to fight them.
The remaining arena members followed suit, spontaneously dividing into two factions to fight.
That scene...
"puff!"
Kuro almost inhaled the smoke from his cigar, but he smiled and said, "That's fucking amazing."
Is this a martial arts tournament?
This looks like a village brawl.
"Sister Kikyo, aren't you going up?" Lida looked at Kikyo in confusion.
"Oh, yes, yes..."
Kikyo only realized what had happened then. She had been shocked because this was nothing like the scene of strong people fighting in her memory. She didn't see 'Luo' or those famous martial artists. Instead, she saw a group of people who were so weak that Kikyo felt she could take them all down if given enough time.
When did martial arts tournaments become like this?
But then she thought, this might be an opportunity, and if that's the case, she's sure to win!
Just as Kikyo was about to take a step forward, suddenly, a hand stopped her.
What are you going to do?
Kikyo frowned, looked at Kuro who was reaching out to stop her, and said, "I will join the Navy, but at least let me finish this conference."
"No..."
Kuro looked up and slowly said, "Something has come out, and its aura is very strange."
Behind the gate, at the top of the Luo family compound, on the large clock tower, a figure suddenly appeared.
From this distance, Kuro couldn't see the person's figure clearly, but he could sense that he was looking down.
"You've set off? I thought you'd stay home and never come out," Kuro said, exhaling a puff of smoke and staring ahead.
That aura had been within the Luo family's residence ever since he entered the Town of Metamorphosis, and now it had finally come to life.
At the top, a man dressed in tattered coarse linen clothes sat barefoot, his long white hair covering his face except for his mouth. He lowered his head slightly, looking at the people on the arena below who looked like ants, and his lips gradually parted to reveal his canine teeth.
