The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
Kuro led Kro to the office, with Lida following closely behind.
Although the ship wasn't his, as the highest-ranking officer on board, requisitioning it temporarily wasn't a big problem.
The colonel who was escorting them had already left. Kuro sat in a chair, casually took out a cigar, lit it, and said to Kuro, "Tell me, what were you thinking? Why did you even think of going to the Celestial Dragons' territory?"
His words reminded me that, besides the chaos in Sabaody Archipelago, there was another major source of chaos: the Celestial Dragons.
Sabaody is located below Mary Geoise, a place frequently visited by the Celestial Dragons.
Their unique status means that neither naval pirates nor gangsters dare to offend them.
That's the real headache.
He looks down on the Celestial Dragons and has virtually no connection with them.
Huh? I'm in the Navy?
The Navy and the Celestial Dragons have absolutely no connection.
“Mr. Kuro, we can do something to the Celestial Dragons, get them to file a complaint against you, and the World Government will surely get wind of it and get rid of you... no, demote you, and maybe you can even go back to Pegasus Island,” Kuro said confidently.
This idea is absolutely correct.
What are the Celestial Dragons? They are nobles supported by the World Government, nobles all over the world, and no one dares to offend them.
If an ordinary person offends a Celestial Dragon, even a high-ranking general will be dispatched; who would dare to provoke them?
But if it were Kuro, with a little control, he would definitely be able to fulfill his wish.
"Are you kidding me? Why would I bother with that bunch of trash? Don't you find it dirty?" Kuro raised an eyebrow.
He simply couldn't be bothered to argue with those overgrown children, or to provoke them for no reason. He didn't have the patience or the magnanimity to handle them.
If he loses his temper and accidentally kills someone, he'll have no choice but to pack his bags and go seek refuge with Zefa.
"Let's not talk about this anymore, it's not a good idea." Kuro waved his hand. "Do you have any other ideas?"
"It's gone..."
Kro shook his head.
He said that if it weren't for the Celestial Dragons, no other god could have demoted Mr. Kuro.
"Promotion, promotion, promotion my ass!"
Kuro stood up, angrily exhaling a puff of smoke, pacing back and forth with a cigar in his mouth, cursing, "If you piss me off, I'll smash up Sabaody Archipelago and see where those pirates can gather then, Marineford?!"
“You’re just throwing another bout of impotent rage,” Lida said.
"Shut up!" Kuro glared at her. "Do you have any good ideas?!"
"No, I just want to go to the amusement park."
Lida shrugged and said expectantly, "I was in too much of a rush last time, so I'm determined to go to the amusement park in Sabaody this time."
"You..."
Kuro sighed helplessly and waved his hand weakly: "Go ahead and play, go ahead and play. I'll bear this suffering alone anyway."
“There’s nothing wrong with getting a promotion,” Lida said.
"You don't know anything!" Kuro rolled his eyes at her. "Go away, all of you, get out of here and let me have some peace and quiet."
"Oh," Lida said expressionlessly and walked out.
Kuro bowed slightly to Kuro and then went out.
Kuro then sat back down in his chair, looking out the window at the sea with a somewhat dazed expression.
"Celestial Dragons..."
He smacked his lips, the smoke swirling around his face, obscuring his expression.
...
It only takes half a day to get from Marineford to Chambord, so there's no need for a long journey.
However, at this time in Sabaody...
boom!
The sound of cannons roared all around, and flames could be seen from the warships.
"What happened?"
Kuro, watching this scene from the deck, said, "Is Sabaody Archipelago in such a mess now? It's only been a year since the Marineford War, and the headquarters hasn't even been completely relocated yet. How can they just fire cannons like this?"
"Reporting to Major General Kuro, because headquarters is too busy, we have no time to manage Sabaody." The colonel next to him saluted and said, "Sabaody is indeed in a rather chaotic state right now."
"This is so troublesome..."
Kuro clicked his tongue and glanced at the people on the warship. "What's your name?"
"Report, my name is Wilbur!" The colonel straightened his back.
"Yes, Colonel Wilbur. Have your men come with me later to clean up this mess. Otherwise, it won't feel right to stay here."
Kuro patted him on the shoulder. "Of course, the credit is yours. Just give some to my men."
"How...how dare I..."
Colonel Wilbur stood up even straighter. Who was this guy in front of him? He was the Navy's supernova who had defeated "Lone Red" Redfield!
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, he should have been a top contender for Admiral, but I heard that due to the World Government's dissatisfaction, he was only promoted to Major General.
On this point, many people within the Navy, including himself, disagreed.
Lucilfer Kuro is, first and foremost, a veteran Marine who has quietly contributed to the East Blue for ten years. No one would have guessed before, but since he came to Headquarters and revealed his strength, some people have come to realize it.
The peace in the East China Sea is likely due to this person's efforts.
After arriving at headquarters, he was finally favored by Admiral Kizaru and became his direct subordinate, where he made numerous contributions.
Leaving aside their other achievements that they could boast about for a lifetime, they received a great deal of information before and after the Marineford War.
It is said that Whitebeard died in the Marineford War because this man intercepted him halfway through the New World and a fierce battle ensued, which greatly reduced Whitebeard's strength and led to his death in the Marineford War.
